Our current poll question asks: Who is Elle's father?
Well, Michael Ausiello of TV Guide may have given us a hint about the answer.
In his latest Q&A with fans, the television critic wrote about Kristen Bell's character:
Her presence without a doubt gave the show a much-needed boost. And remember my hint in last week's [column] about a surprising familial connection coming to light between two characters? Well, it may or may not have something to do with the call that Elle made to her daddy at the end of last night's episode.
Sounds like this would give the edge to Mr. Bennet, doesn't it? Could he have adopted Elle along with Claire? Let us know what you think about this possibility.

Here's the problem with this: She clearly says during the
episode that she works for the company, Bennet doesn't work
for the company anymore. How can Bennet make her 'come home'
from her assignment if he's not involved with said, 'company'.
Further if he's away with the Haitian, why would she listen to
him anyway because he'd have no way of knowing if she actually
went home which therefore makes telling her this futile.
I think that she is either Bob's daughter or West's sister.
A stretch, maybe, but i think calling her Bennet's daughter is
even stretchier..

I think that she is West's sister, and maybe they are both Bob's chicldren. I do not think that she could be Mr. Bennet's daughter. If she was, wouldn't she be raised in the same household as Claire?

I'm thinking Elle is Bob's daughter, but I'm not wholly convinced of this. I mentioned in another post that I believe she may be the daughter of Bob's boss, a character we haven't seen yet. Now it is possible she could be related to Claire by blood. Who knows if Claire's biological mother had any other offspring. This is just coming to me, but maybe the company arranged for Nathan and Claire's mom to hook up with the hope of producing a "super" baby. If so, it stands to reason Claire's mother could have been used for the same purpose on other occasions.

I'm thinking that Nathan is her father. He plants the first pictures of Nakamura and his mom, he insists on going with Parkman, he could easily be the big bad, and his deformed face could be a sign, much like with Niki/Jessica, of a Nathan that emerged from the shell after flying off with Peter...

I'm thinking Matt's sister. His dad could very easily still be involved in the company as well killing off all his old buddies.

She must be either Bob's daughter or Matt's sister. Her connection with the company implies that she is connected to either the company leaders.

I don't think she's Bennet's daughter- why wouldn't we have met her before if she was an active part of his life? Most logically, she's Bob's daughter, but I wouldn't put it past our friends at Heroes to surprise us.

I think she is Peter and Nathan's sister, either Angela or their dad had one with someone out of wedlock.

I think she could be Molly's older sister because Sylar killed her parents, so they must of had some powers otherwise why bother.. and we dont no much about her family tree.. also its a bit obivous if she is bobs daughter...

i think it is Mr bennets daughter becouse we never saw bob befor and
they sad she was raised in the company and why wouldnt we have seen
bob befor besides she never said
that she was with the compant hrg was with she just said she was with
a company and peter was too untill he tried to escape and the hation
erased his mnd and peter absorbed the power and made the hation sick
now the company is tryin to track him down becouse he nows to much
and its hrgs real daughter they just took her from him remember the
episode he said once they you trust them wth the thing you care for
most they will have you maybe he trusted the company with his daughter
and they raised took her from him and gave him one aka claire
