It's the night many Heroes - and Veronica Mars - fans have been waiting for: Kristen Bell premieres on the show!
Looks like she'll be joining Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) in Ireland for the time being. As always, we'll post a detailed recap of the episode after it airs.
In the meantime, though, talk about the latest developments in our Heroes forum.
Good news, fans, that photo of the older generation of Heroes won't be the last we see of these characters and actors.
"We will be seeing the people... in the photo," Tim Kring said during an October 16 conference call with reporters. "I think all of them will be [played by the actors in the photo]. I just have to tell you, the photo has got a life of its own, because, logistically, it was so difficult to actually come up with this photograph that's used now and refers to things that are shot well in the future here.
It was very difficult to get that all lined up. But, yes, the photo is as accurate as we can make it."
For now, the most important new character in the photo is the father of Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), who will be tracked down in tonight's new episode.
The photo also featured the by-now familiar faces of Daniel Linderman (Malcolm McDowell), Charles Deveaux (Richard Roundtree), Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose), Bob (Stephen Tobolowsky) and Kaito Nakamura (George Takei).
Dana Davis made a powerful impact on Heroes last week.
Afterwards, TV Guide caught up with the actress that portrays Monica Dawson and asked her about that cool WWE move...
TVGuide.com: After the tomato-carving and wrestling move, what else might we see her do soon?
Davis: Everything! Monica is so badass. It's cool to think of superpowers, like invisibility and mind-reading, but if you really think about it, God has blessed human beings with some serious gifts and abilities. Most of us "normal" human beings will never be able to slam like Michael Jordan or run like Carl Lewis, so imagine a human who can do it all. How exciting!
The sky is the limit with Monica. Lots of fans are wondering if she'll watch any martial-arts movies, and the answer is yep! She'll be doing lots of martial arts and even a little parkour action, to give just a few hints.
TVGuide.com: Was having Lt. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) as your "grandmother" icing on the cake?
Davis: It was more icing on top of icing. I remember punching Greg Beaman, one of our producers, when he told me the news: "Shut up! No way!" I was so excited to work with her. Huge Fan. Everybody is.
TVGuide.com: How long will Monica be in New Orleans? Stuck there for a bit?
Davis: Stuck there for a bit, for now. Monica is making her mark in the city and bringing back lots of hope to a community very much in need. But don't worry, the writers have this awesome way of taking all these storylines and bringing them together. Just like they did in Season 1.
TVGuide.com: But might she still cross paths with original Heroes besides Micah?
Davis: Monica does run up with Sendhil Ramamurthy's Mohinder and Ali Larter's Niki not to give away too much so she's not alone down there in the Big Easy. And like I said, the Heroes always find a way to unite somehow. It'll be fun to see how it all plays out.
Let's just hope Monica stays clear of Dania [Ramirez]'s character, Maya. But Monica's pretty upbeat I'm sure she can keep her happy. She'd better! Please nobody make that girl cry!
Cable network G4 has nabbed the cable TV rerun rights for Heroes Season Two - and it's wasting no time in showing episdoes.
The channel will be airing the episodes every Saturday after their original run on NBC, beginning on Saturday night, November 3.
Moreover, to celebrate its acquisition of the show, G4 will be airing a Season One marathon on October 27. Check your local listings. And enjoy.
Fans may not love his story line right now, but Shalim Ortiz is hopeful his character will soon catch on. Might help if he reaches America before 2008 rolls around.

Were you a Heroes fan before you got the role?
I had watched a couple of episodes here and there. I was there following the whole story line but I definitely caught up on season one and immediately I became a fan right away. It's inevitable to watch a show like Heroes and then not get completely sucked into the show.
When you first got the role, because this is one of those shows where there are lots of secrets and everyone wants to know what's going on... How much were you told about your character when you first got the role?
Well that's a very huge question because the team of producers that are part of the show they kind of give a little bit of freedom to the actors; at least that's what happened to Alejandro. Obviously they had an idea of what role they wanted Alejandro to play on the storyline. they also had an open mind for the actor, in this case myself, to bring in my point-of-view on this character and how I envisioned this relationship between him and his sister.
And if you add to that the fact that I also pretty much helped translate in Spanish, because he speaks Spanish in the show, the script and everything, well ... then the character really becomes part of you and that's the way it's been happening.

While many of the Heroes we know and love are stuck in various locations, with seemingly unrelated story lines currently bogging them down (Peter in Ireland; Hiro in feudal Japan), the main focus of season two so far has been the older generation of Heroes.
Who are they? What do they know? And who is taking them?
With that in mind, let's take a look at the picture of who we assume to be the 12 members of this group, courtesy of Nathan's family picture album.
There are the ones we already knew about: Kaito Nakamura, Charles Deveaux, Daniel Linderman, Angela Petrelli, and Angela's husband (who the Mobile Game has informed us is named Arthur).
The other member we've already met is Bob, the Company man played by Stephen Tobolowsky who's working with Mohinder.
Then, there's Parkman's father. Molly says he's The Boogeyman. Matt says he left home when his son was 13 years old.
From there, we have five completely mysterious people in the photograph, all of whom we'll speculate about below:. First up is this guy, who looks vaguely Hispanic. As such, perhaps it's safe to assume he's Maya and Alejandro's father or relative.
Next, there's an African American woman. Could she be a younger Nana Dawson (Nichelle Nichols)? The old woman is clearly more important than she seems, acting as if she knows something she cannot reveal.
At this point, anyone older in the cast we're guessing has a connection to this generation of Heroes.
Now, things get even harder to speculate about We're left a grey-haired white guy and two white women, one blonde and one brunette. They could be anyone. Let's base our guesses on their placement in the photograph.
The brunette woman is right next to Mr. Parkman, but Matt would have mentioned if that were his mother, right? It could be another Parkman relative.

In Ireland, a lost Hero attempts to move beyond the past, but discovers that a mysterious woman Elle (Kristen Bell) is willing to kill to find him.
Parkman (Greg Grunberg) and an unexpected ally fly to Philadelphia to hunt down the "boogyman," following his attack on Molly (Adair Tishler), but the pair finds themselves outmatched.
Monica (Dana Davis) tries to come to terms with her new abilities and her role as a local hero. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) meets his new partner and gets a disturbing assignment. Mr. Bennet (Jack Coleman) takes a step to further protect his family.
Meanwhile, as Hiro (Masi Oka) continues to fix the past in feudal Japan, Ando (James Kyson Lee) attempts to piece together historically what's happened to his best friend.

Maya and Alejandro Have a Crazy Twist: Be patient with this brother/sister combo; there's some juicy stuff coming up to make you invested in the pair. For starters, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) will be all hooked up with Maya for at least a handful of episodes, using her for her power to kill everyone, now that he's currently a powerless puss.
And then there's the jaw-dropping moment where you find out exactly what kind of "homicidio" Maya is wanted for. Let's just it involves a wedding and is above and beyond anything you'd think this Latina cutie could be capable of. Prepare to freak out.
Elle Is Finally Here! Kristen Bell joins Heroes! Woo-hoo! First we'll get to know her in the present; then soon after flash back to her first interaction with Peter Petrelli, around the time, not too long ago, when NYC nearly went nuclear.
DL Will Be Back! We'll be getting to know D.L.'s relatives a lot better over the coming weeks, leading up to a return appearance (in episode eight) by Leonard Roberts himself.
That's the episode titled "Four Months Ago," where we learn about the plight of all the character immediately following the season one-ending explosion.
