Some lucky writer at GQ got to sit down with Heroes star Hayden Panettiere for an interview in the most recent issue of that magazine.

GQ: You’re not dating your Heroes costar Milo Ventimiglia, which is the gossip that’s flying around about you?
Hayden Panettiere: No, I’m not. I love my castmates, and I adore Milo. He’s awesome, but we’re easy targets. We’re both young, and he’s one of the only people on the show not married with children.
GQ: What would be a good rumor to start about you? If someone were to put you together with a leading man, who would it be?
Panettiere: God, it could be anyone from Leo DiCaprio to Justin Timberlake—or any girl. You want to make me a lesbian? That’s totally fine with me.
GQ: Okay. Well, who would be good?
Panettiere: Um, let’s see. We could do a love affair with Angelina Jolie. We could do… Oh gosh, I love—there are so many beautiful girls. Charlize Theron. Oh, my God. Kate Beckinsale is gorgeous. Jessica Alba.

So which is it? Was she serious about having a fling with other women she named or was she joking around with the interviewer? What I saw in the media presented it as truth or, possibly her fantasy. Either way, if she meant it, I can guarantee lower viewership of Heroes. It might not amount to much but advertisers certainly pay attention to that statistic. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to discover religious organizations had denounced Hayden and “Heroes.”
