Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are Dating

It’s been rumored for months, but now it appears to be fact:

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are officially an item.

“Hayden’s mom adores Milo. She thinks he’s so cute,” a family friend told People magazine. “She tells her friends that he’s her boyfriend. She’s very proud.”

The source added: “He’s even met her grandparents. He fits in perfectly with the family. Milo jokes around with her little brother. They’re buddies.”

We wish these two nothing but the best!

Adrian Pasdar Teases Season Three of Heroes

Pasdar, Adrian Might this be a Heroes spoiler that Nathan lives through his gun shot?

The actor who portrays the former politician recently teased season three to Entertainment Weekly.

“Season 3 is going to be very interesting to see what happens and how they’re able to take the lessons that we’ve learned, and really tell the story that they want to tell without losing an audience,” said Adrian Pasdar. “Because the goal at the end of the day is to have as many people watch the show as you can.”

Reconciling what writers and fans want has proven to be challenging, Pasdar admits, especially because Heroes is “complex” and has “many layers.”

“It’s not stupid TV, it’s not a reality program,” Pasdar said. “It actually is complex. There’s many layers to Heroes. [Creator Tim Kring is] not averse to risk-taking, as he has proven in the episodes of season 2.”

Let’s all just pray the writers’ strike is soon resolved and we’ll get a chance to see if Pasdar is correct or not.

Heroes 360 Keeps Fans Up to Date

In case you haven’t heard, there are no new episodes of Heroes scheduled.

But even as the writers’ strike progresses, the official Heroes 360 website will be up and running for at least the next three months. Weekly graphic-novel chapters, posted on Tuesdays and will continue to tell stories of the various characters.

“January is a big month for us,” said Joe Tolerico, producer/project manager for Heroes 360. “A couple of heroes finally get together. And they’re making some plans to take down the Company.”

Moreover, a few offshoot sites - such as PrimatechPaper.com and YamagatoFellowship.org - will be updated throughout the winter.

“Our goal right now, in the situation we’re in, is to bridge the gap between Volume 2 and Volume 3,” Tolerico said. “We’re not working without a net. We are working with the show; it’s all show-approved.

Tim Kring Teases Chapter Three of Heroes

tim_kring_heroes.jpg As previously reported, Heroes Creator Tim Kring brought a brief clip of Heroes Chapter Three (”Villains”) along with him to the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival.

He also talked about the goal behind this volume of the story:

“The intention was really just fairly simple.  We wanted to sort of talk to the audience or tell the audience about the idea of flip side of heroes.  That for pretty much every hero there was a villain out there.

And the idea was really just to unleash an entire…we had fun with one or two villains along the way and unleashing a whole bevy of them just seemed like a lot of fun for us.  So the entire volume deals with how to put that genie back in the bottle.”

Kring also called the current experience of not being able to write - for the first time in years - “surreal.”

A Sneak Peak at Heroes Chapter Three

The cast of Heroes attended the Jules Vern Film Festival yesterday.

Aside from presenting an award to comic legend Stan Lee, the crew showed festival attendees a quick, one-minute sneak peek of the upcoming chapter, titled “Villains.”

Here’s an exciting look, for those yearning for some Heroes spoilers:

Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur: Engaged!

We’re happy to announce that Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur are engaged.

No wedding date has been set, but Larter’s rep says the couple is “thrilled” about the announcement.

“I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow,” Larter recently said. “I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies.”

Milo Ventimiglia Dishes on Heroes Backlash and More

Sadly, Milo Ventimiglia has a lot of free time these days. The Heroes actor used some of it to speak with Entertainment Weekly recently…

Ventimiglia, Milo Are you just chillin’ now while the strike is on, or are you working on something new?
I’m pretty busy. I’m doing two features before Christmas. One is called Game, and that’s with Gerard Butler and Amber Valletta. It’s written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the same guys who did Pathology, the movie I have coming out in the spring.

Who do you play in Game?
A very interesting futuristic character that’s not necessarily in control of himself.

Tim Kring told us several weeks ago that the ending of Volume 2 was altered due to strike consequences and a desire to reboot the series when it returned. What can you say about the original ending — is it true that the virus was supposed to get out? What ending did you prefer?
It was Tim’s intention, I think, to not make people wait much longer. Due to the writers’ strike, we were in a position where we’re gettin’ cut short like everybody else. I think Tim wanted to give some kind of feeling of Hey, we made it. The End. And I think it was the right thing to do. A good thing to do.

With regards to the virus getting out or not getting out, at this point it doesn’t, so it’s kind of a moot point, which seems like an easy answer for me to give. Now I know we’re taking a direction that is going away from the virus— from what I understand. The best answers are always gonna come out of Tim’s mouth. I mean let’s not kid ourselves: I wear make up and read lines for living.

Have you noticed changes in how Heroes fans approach you on the street this season?
For the most part, people still walk up to you with smiles on their faces saying, ”I love it. I love it. I love it.” Occasionally, you get somebody who kinda looks at you and thinks, Eh, first season was better, but I still watch you guys. You’re doing pretty good.

I think there are a lot of fans that are begrudgingly hanging in there, very patiently waiting for us…. As a person that’s on the show as well as a fan of the show, I always want to get back to the great character moments that drive the series. I’m hoping we get back to the feeling of the first season: that kind of base human emotion, that level where these people that have these abilities are understanding them still.

Five Fun Facts About Milo Ventimiglia

A Milo Ventimiglia PictureWith no Heroes episode to preview for Monday, the least we can do is give you a glimpse into one of the show’s most popular stars.

Here are a few interesting tidbits about Milo Ventimiglia:

1. He has a birth defect, which the actor describes as a “crooked” mouth, explained as dead nerves causing his lower lip to lie limp.

“It’s so cute,” Hayden Panettiere one said. “It’s a flaw, and I hate perfection more than anything in the world.”

2. In 2000, Ventimiglia traveled solo through Europe, where he spent his 23rd birthday in the small town of Ventimiglia, Italy. As you can guess, this is where his surname originated.

3. The actor loves punk rock, but has to be sure to watch his face:”I’m literally standing off to the side, freaked out about getting crushed or punched in the face, and having to explain a black eye to a producer or makeup artist at work,” Ventimiglia told the New York Post.

4. Ventimiglia believes he’s still being undermined by his Heroes character’s boyishly long bangs. Show creator Tim Kring commented on it: “We have a disagreement over the hair, but we’re moving toward [a compromise], and it’s really cool.”

5. Of his Heroes character’s occupation as a male hospice worker, Ventimiglia said: “I showed up for the cast photo shoot with scrubs on and Greg Grunberg’s in his cop outfit, standing tall, hand on his gun, and I’m like, ‘Oh man, I’m a murse [''male nurse'']. Not a doctor, a nurse.’”
