Heroes Spoilers
Our thanks to Kristin from E! Online for this latest Heroes spoiler.
She’s already told us that Elle, Adam, Nathan and Niki (or a different alter-ego portrayed by Ali Later) will all be back when the show returns.
But here’s an interesting new tidbit: Adam Monroe was once named Richard Sanders… and is related to Niki! How many identities can one guy have? Guess when you’ve been alive for over 400 years, names can pile up.

Ali Larter
As Hayden Panettiere fights for whales’ rights, Ali Larter is fighting for an equally important cause: chocolate!
Showing off a brand new hairdo, the Heroes star spent Tuesday helping to unveil the Godiva Decadence Suite, a hotel room designed with chocolate from top to bottom at the Bryant Park Hotel in New York City.
“It’s the perfect bit of sin,” Larter said, adding that Godiva chocolate pearls are her “private daily indulgence.”
Of course, reports that the actress is the face of the Belgium-based chocolatier’s annual Valentine’s Day promotion may have helped her become a big fan of the brand.

Meanwhile, a handful of Heroes spoilers suggest that we may have seen the last of Niki, but Larter will be back on the series. We can’t wait to find out if that’s true (hear that, writers?!?).
We’re proud of Hayden Panettiere.
The young actress is continuing to fight for a cause in which she believes strongly. Over the weekend, the Heroes star led the rally against the resumption of commercial whaling in Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle Sunday.
The 18-year-old was greeted with applause as she gave her speech in front of supporters that included her mother/manager, Lesley Panettiere.

Boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia was not on hand, but we are pretty sure he would be quite proud of his girl. We know we are.

Caption Contest
As always, we appreciate everyone who responded to this week’s Heroes Caption Contest. Many readers took the opportunity to comment on the odd relationship between HRG and Claire in the photo below.
But the winning entry belongs to “Mr Sucks A Lot,” who didn’t suck at all with the caption we posted immediately below the picture.
Check it out now and scroll down to read the rest. Thanks for playing and come back next week!

HRG: Claire what did i say about stealing Lyle’s PlayGirl stash???
Another Heroes actor has signed on to star in a new movie.
We’ve already mentioned that Hayden Panettiere will be starring in I Love You, Beth Cooper.
Now comes news that Milo Ventimiglia has joined the action flick Armored. The film centers on a young armored car guard who is persuaded by his veteran cohorts to empty a truck of its $10 million cargo.

The heist actioner also stars Skeet Ulrich, Matt Dillon, Columbus Short, Laurence Fishburne, Jean Reno and Fred Ward and is set for a 2009 release.

Heroes News
Joe Tolerico is a senior producer with NBC. As a man with a lot of control over Heroes, he recently gave an interesting interview.
Here are excerpts from it.
Q: Heroes has been almost unprecedented in its use of alternate media to help further the plot of the show. From graphic novels, to websites, to text messages it’s genuinely reached out to the Heroes audience to go above and beyond simply presenting its story via television.
Entire fan websites have been devoted to discussing and analyzing the Heroes Evolutions content. Did you have any idea when first starting that the experience would grow to this point, or did you see it as a minor project that would casually complement the show?
Joe Tolerico: Something in the middle. We wanted to make it a great experience, we wanted to see it grow and become a wonderful experience for the fans. We are Heroes fans ourselves, so it was a passion project from the start. To say we thought it would be minor or casual is certainly not true. We wanted it to be everything it became (and even more going forward).
Q: Heroes creatively and innovatively spans television, comics, the Internet, cell phones, email, and recently, novels. Are there other forms of media being considered? Are there good odds for more of what we have now (i.e. new websites or new novels)?
Tolerico: We have all sorts of ideas we are exploring. And there’s plenty of joking around about what Heroes should NOT become. Our head of digital entertainment teases Tim Kring about “Heroes on Ice” (with all due respect to figure skaters). It’s about breaking new digital ground while staying true to the mythology and DNA of this amazing creative adventure.

Thank you to all fans who submitted an entry to this edition of the Heroes Caption Contest (the only one on the Web!).
The photo below was a challenge but many readers were up for it. None more so than “Giri,” who submitted this week’s funniest caption. It’s hard to blame the Haitian for feeling like a third wheel, isn’t it?
Scroll down to read all the entries - and remember to play every week! Thank you!

Haitian: “How I hate the third wheel!”
Milo Ventimiglia looks even more snappy than usual in a suit by Just Cavalli in the February 2008 issue of Interview Magazine.
Can one be any more handsome?!?

Hayden Panettiere is expanding her acting resume.
With free time from Heroes, the actress will star alongside Julia Roberts in Fireflies in the Garden.
From there, Reel Movie News reports that the 18-year old actress has signed on to play the title character in I Love You, Beth Cooper, a teen comedy produced by Chris Columbus.
As Beth Cooper, Panettiere will once again hold pom poms as a hot cheerleader who is the object of a nerdy valedictorian’s obsession. The duo embarks on a series of misadventures after he proclaims his love for her in his graduation speech.
