We may have to wait until the fall for new episodes, but at least we can look over a few Heroes spoilers for that season now.
During the recent Jules Verne Festival, show creator Tim Kring and Jeph Loeb presented footage of the chapter “Villains.” We showed the video here - but here’s a rundown of changes that lie ahead for the show:
Because Heroes isn’t returning to NBC until the fall, our caption contests may be the closest fans get to their favorite show for awhile.
With that in mind, here’s a look at this edition’s winner. Thanks to everyone that submitted an entry, but we give the most humorous nod to “jonjones.”
Check out his winning caption below the photo now. And don’t forget to come back and play every week!

You turned my father into a HORSE! You are a bad man, Takezo Kensei, a bad, bad man…
With no new Heroes episodes on the way for many months, Hayden Panettiere has time for a couple movies.
The actress, who has already signed on to star in I Love You, Beth Cooper, is now on board for Daydream Nation.
Kieran Culkin is in negotiations to portray Panettiere’s oblivious boyfriend in the film. The movie, budgeted at about $10 million, is scheduled to start production in the second or third quarter of this year.

Even if the writers’ strike is settled in the next week, Heroes is unlikely to produce any new episodes until the fall.
Michael Ausiello, a television critic and expert at TV Guide, recently said as much during a question and answer with readers:
Question: What are the odds that we’ll see more Heroes episodes this season?
Ausiello: Slim to none. Due to the heavily serialized nature of the show, it’s unlikely that Heroes will be back this season. Instead, NBC will likely go straight into production on Season 3.
In the meantime, fans, we’ll continue to produce caption contests and news items.
Also, don’t forget to spend the off-season talking about the series in our forum with fellow fans!
Hayden Panettiere really is an impressive young lady.
While other young stars are worrying about fashion and which clubs to attend, the Heroes actress is focusing on causes close to her heart.
We already know about Hayden’s focus on whales. Now, on the heels of Super Tuesday, she’s speaking out about various candidates for president.
“I have spoken to Barack about the whales and the situation going on there, and I asked him his views on it, and he grew up in Hawaii. He’s got a very wonderful outlook on it. Hopefully later on, [I'm] having a phone call with the McCain party and also in the midst of contacting the Clinton party.
I’ll hopefully be hearing from them on the whole situation and what they’re willing to do to stop it.”
Keep it up, Hayden! We’re impressed by your activeness and responsibility.
Despite the bad news that no new Heroes episodes will air this fall - despite the resolution of the writers’ strike - our readers have continued to submit entires to the caption contest every week. We thank everyone for it.
The caption that made us laugh the hardest this week belonged to “My HRG Space.” Check it out now by looking below the photo - then, scroll down to read all entries.
Thanks for playing, and come back again every week!

Matt: No, no, it’s not a pyramid. See, look, everyone tells
at least ten friends to sign up, and then they tell ten of
their friends, and so on. Then you keep getting checks for
$20 and before you know it you’re a millionaire! See it’s…
Nathan: A pyramid scheme.
