Discuss "I Am Become Death" in Our Heroes Forum!

Tonight on Heroes, Molly and Adam Monroe are back!

Most of the other characters soar four years down the line, too, as "I Am Become Death" promises an alternate future that involves... Sylar baking cookies?!?

We'll post a detailed episode guide after the hour ends, which will include analysis, quotes and pics from the episode. For now, discuss it in our forum...

Brea Grant Comments on Daphne, Heroes Experience

So far for Brea Grant on Heroes, so good.

The actress, who stars as Daphne on the new season, told USA Today that she's loved playing the nemesis to Masi Oka's Hiro so far.

"It's been really fun to play out the comedy, in that he thinks he's a hero and she's not having it," said Grant.

Future Daphne

Daphne speeds ahead four years on tonight's Heroes episode.

As for what lies ahead for Grant?

"Daphne gets a little more serious, but she's still sort of spacey and funny," the actress said. "She definitely has to deal with a lot more drama. This is Heroes, after all."

Heroes Clip of the Day: Tracy Shows Off

It looks like Tracy Strauss is becoming comfortable with her special ability.

On tonight's Heroes episode, the partial Niki replica sits down with Nathan and comes clean about her power. Take a look at the clip below and discuss it now in our forum:

A Heroes Spoiler Picture: The Haitian and Knox

We recently came across the following photo.

Reportedly, it was a scene cut from episode two of this chapter, but it's safe to assume such a shot will come up again later on season three.

Can you guess why The Haitian might be spotted with Knox, seemingly working side by side?

The Hatiain, Knox

The Haitian is supposed to be bringing down Knox, isn't he? Post theories as to why these two could be teaming up in our Heroes forum.

A Preview of I am Become Death

Looks like viewers will be taken to a version of the future again on Heroes next week.

During "I am Become Death," we see more of evil Claire, along with the ramification of Mohinder's experiment. Watch the preview for it now and talk about events to come in our Heroes forum:

Why Heroes Needs to Get Lost

We love Heroes. We wouldn't dedicate so much time to this fan site if we didn't.

Still, there are improvements we'd make to the show, especially as it zooms through season three (in an attempt, which we're grateful for, to make up for a lackluster second season). In a nutshell, Heroes must get Lost.

The series must follow the lead of another serialized show, one with an abundance of characters and back stories. Lost focuses on one character each episode, still adding to the overall story lines, yet allowing itself to set a reasonable pace for the show, while also giving various actors and characters a chance to shine.

Just consider the rate at which viewers were sped through character developments this week, all in a single episode:

Claire went from victim... to tortured daughter... to vengeful hero on the verge of evil. We loved the idea of Sylar's attack on Claire having a profound affect on this troubled teenager. It was a mind rape, after all. But wouldn't it have been nice to focus on just what she was going through for a full hour?

Don't just toss her into a cargo box with her birth mom (who viewers barely know, yet are led to believe is a disciple of Mr. Miyagi all of a sudden?!?) and then set her on a revenge trip to Primatech Paper. Let us feel Claire's pain in-depth.

Heroes could learn a few lessons about how Lost treats John Locke and company.

Sylar learned he was Angela's son... then was teamed with HRG... then regressed to his old ways. We've known Sylar as the ultimate bad guy, an evil killing machine. But within five minutes, his mother convinced him that his destiny was actually to help The Company. And both Sylar and HRG bought into it on the spot!

Ali Larter: What's Ahead for Tracy?

Ali Larter could fill up the cast of Heroes all by herself.

By our count, this actress has already portrayed four different versions of Niki Sanders. On this week's episode, we learned that Dr. Zimmerman apparently created multiple models of the same individual. But each one has different powers and is unaware of her duplicates.

Color us intrigued... and a bit confused.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Larter shed some light on her story line:

Can you hint at what's to come for Tracy?
The interesting about her is, instead of being stricken by this ability [to freeze things] that she has, she becomes kind of in awe of it. And kind of excited by it and fascinated by it at the same time. She's pulled out of her world and has to find different ways to figure out her life and figure out why these things were happening to her. So she's kind of on this journey of understanding who she is.

How does that differ from Niki's journey?
I think Niki hated it. She was afraid of hurting people. It put her in jeopardy of losing her child. She wasn't able to control it, whereas Tracy is a completely different being in that way. She doesn't get stricken with fear. She would find ways to use it or manipulate the situation.

How much is Tracy a part of everything going forward?
I've done a ton of work with Adrian Pasdar this year. And this next volume that we're going into, which is called Fugitives, will kind of take us all out of our comfort zones.

A Q&A Session with Masi Oka

In a recent interview, conducted prior to season three, Masi Oka promised an exciting season for Hiro and company.

He obviously wasn't kidding.

Here are a few highlights from the feature:

On critical reaction to season two: Every critic is different and people look for different things. So I don’t know if the critics are bashing for the sake of bashing it, but maybe it’s just like a continued - well continuing (stealing the hat) from Season 2. So I’m hoping that, you know, as the episodes progress that they could just go back to what made Heroes great with Season 1 and where Season 3 is headed towards, and then go back to seeing it as, you know, pure entertainment for the whole family.

Masi Photo

On Hiro and Daphne: I’m very excited. We’re already shooting Episode 12 and there’s a lot of great shocks and, you know, twists and turns. With Hiro and Daphne, you know, Daphne is kind of like the quintessential nemesis for Hiro. As Batman gets his Joker, Hiro gets Daphne. That said, I see it more like a Wile E. Coyote and a Road Runner scenario except she said more than meep-meep and not as many Acme gadgets although you will see Hiro fall on his face a lot.

On Hiro and Ando
: I think the writers wanted to introduce a little bit of a different dynamic between Hiro and Ando just to start things off. We will see them back to get their original selves, hopefully very soon. But I think everyone is kind of like - because this is a season called Villains, or the volume is called Villains, we wanted to kind of put in seeds of doubt in terms of every relationship we’ve had and kind of shake up the status quo.
