Stop what you're doing.
Go tell your family, friends, enemies and pets to watch Heroes. The show is in serious danger of not making it to a fourth season.
This week's episode drew 6.9 million viewers. That might not mean much to the average viewer, but consider this:
Last year at this time, during the 9 p.m. Monday time slot, NBC aired the ridiculous reality competition My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad. It received 900,000 more viewers than Heroes. Seriously.
If Heroes cannot earn higher ratings than a reality show tha costs a fraction of Heroes' budget to make, then we may be seeing the last few episodes ever of this once-popular show.
Based on current ratings, if Parkman could read the mind of most viewers, he'd hear how unhappy they were with the series.

They'd be idiot to cancel now, are they counting international ratings or just US? Cos if they cancel it cos of the former than they are simply moronic. Globally it has a huuuuge fanbase. I'm not going to bother watching the next two episodes online (Cold Wars and Exposed) cos of lack of Hiro (I can wait til they are screened on the telly if that's the case) but they need to sort out how the show is viewed internationally. The BBC has delayed screening the show in the UK so we're like three weeks behind and ratings will be hit by people watching online rather than fall behind and I don't know the situation globally but it could be happening in other countries too. I have faith in the show even if certain elements of it disappoint me.

I meant latter ratings *whoops*.

1). Adrian Pasdar said in a recent interview that season 4 is basically a done deal.
2). If people have abandoned the show, it's due not just to the villains arc being sorta crappy, but also to all the bad press the show has gotten. That EW cover was toxic. A self-fulfilling prophecy.
3). Maybe, just maybe, the public at large is getting over the recent superheroes bonanza. Sure they'll still go see Wolverine when it comes out, but maybe the simple joy of "believing a man can fly" isn't enough at this point to keep people tuning in week after week.
4). And maybe it was because the show has gone downhill. The last episode kicked ass IMO though.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Its so sad that shows like this always suffer. God forbid people have to think when they are watching tv. Mindless reality shows are brought back every year, new ones appear and moronic shows get spin offs. Sure, sometimes things are a little ambiguous and hard to follow, but that's one of the things I love most, I like being challenged to make my own assumptions. We need to be forced to think abstractly, keeps our minds sharp. Getting rid of this show would be a huge mistake. Let's hope the Heroes loyals can ban together and keep it on.

No, no, NO!
We CANNOT let Heroes get canceled! This is such a good show! People love this show! It would be horrible if it was scrapped just because of the not-as-good "Villains" arc. I really hope the ratings start going up so we can keep this awesome show going!

If NBC cancel Heroes, they're the ultimate dickheads. Heroes used to be the most popular television show on that channel and if they're going to cancel it, its something like killing your mom. NBC is going to receive thousands of emails from me if they cancel this AMAZING show. COME ON HEROES!!
