Heroes is an interesting show, I would even call it a good show, but honestly, my friends and I watch it for the comedy. The sad thing is, the show isn't exactly supposed to be funny. What's funny is that the characters keep making poor decisions, then doing something crazy, to survive another day and make another poor decision. This particularly applies to Claire: she's a total dimwit (No offense to the actress, Hayden plays the role well). Bennet has all of the answers all the time, but no one will listen to him. Like I said, Heroes is a great comedy.
It would probably be even better if it were less comedic and had a more coherent storyline. I think it's pretty obvious that they've never had a solid plan, because some things just don't make sense. I hope they can get it together. If not, I will continue to watch my favorite comedy every week until it's off the air.
you goddamn americans are going to fuck it up for the rest of the world

I honestly won't care if the cancel it at this point, I mean I'm enjoying Fugitives and look forward to its conclusion but I'd be content if it ends here. I just want Chuck to stay personally.
But I believe they have already confirmed Heroes will be around next year, for at least another volume. The thing is all of NBC's shows except maybe the Office are not doing great in ratings, and despite all the recent negativity surrounding the show, Heroes is still popular. It would cost more to scrap the show now and start from scratch. They're probably hoping that the remaining episodes will draw more viewers and if nothing else the season premiere of Volume 5 will start things off to a clean start.

If NBC cancel Heroes, they're the ultimate dickheads. Heroes used to be the most popular television show on that channel and if they're going to cancel it, its something like killing your mom. NBC is going to receive thousands of emails from me if they cancel this AMAZING show. COME ON HEROES!!
No, no, NO!
We CANNOT let Heroes get canceled! This is such a good show! People love this show! It would be horrible if it was scrapped just because of the not-as-good "Villains" arc. I really hope the ratings start going up so we can keep this awesome show going!
Its so sad that shows like this always suffer. God forbid people have to think when they are watching tv. Mindless reality shows are brought back every year, new ones appear and moronic shows get spin offs. Sure, sometimes things are a little ambiguous and hard to follow, but that's one of the things I love most, I like being challenged to make my own assumptions. We need to be forced to think abstractly, keeps our minds sharp. Getting rid of this show would be a huge mistake. Let's hope the Heroes loyals can ban together and keep it on.

1). Adrian Pasdar said in a recent interview that season 4 is basically a done deal.
2). If people have abandoned the show, it's due not just to the villains arc being sorta crappy, but also to all the bad press the show has gotten. That EW cover was toxic. A self-fulfilling prophecy.
3). Maybe, just maybe, the public at large is getting over the recent superheroes bonanza. Sure they'll still go see Wolverine when it comes out, but maybe the simple joy of "believing a man can fly" isn't enough at this point to keep people tuning in week after week.
4). And maybe it was because the show has gone downhill. The last episode kicked ass IMO though.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

They'd be idiot to cancel now, are they counting international ratings or just US? Cos if they cancel it cos of the former than they are simply moronic. Globally it has a huuuuge fanbase. I'm not going to bother watching the next two episodes online (Cold Wars and Exposed) cos of lack of Hiro (I can wait til they are screened on the telly if that's the case) but they need to sort out how the show is viewed internationally. The BBC has delayed screening the show in the UK so we're like three weeks behind and ratings will be hit by people watching online rather than fall behind and I don't know the situation globally but it could be happening in other countries too. I have faith in the show even if certain elements of it disappoint me.
