Sadly, this is scarcely even news anymore.
A record-low number of viewers tuned in for last night's new episode of Heroes. It was only watched by 6.5 million people.
This is the second time in three episodes that the series has hit an all-time low. We've asked before and we'll ask again:
How would you fix the show in order to increase its viewership?
Like Mohinder in this scene, Heroes is in a lot of pain these days.

How can we save the show? Theres nothing that can be done anymore. Nothing as change even with an awesome episode like yesterday. People are being really difficult.

1) Some crazy, unexpected kind of stuff that gets featured in...
2) Really well made commercials. And,
3) Some good mainstream press about the show.
The show is already getting better. The point is that folks need to KNOW about it.

How to fix the show. If anyone hasn't noticed once peter lost his abilities and show is trying to focus on everyone the ratings have dropped. People watched the show when Peter and Slyar fought. When the world was going to blow up. When they looked to the future and saw the what the world was turning to. We need to do more exposer and show the viewers what they want to see. Commercials are good, web. The show is getting better but people are use to seeing episode that are not good and as a result people are not watching them anymore. We need better marketing skills.

First of all Heroes is competing with 24, two and half men, one tree hill, and dancing with the stars
so maybe they should move it to a day like wednesday when nothing is on tv except american idol, but lets face no1 really cares about idol anymore and im sure there are tons of ppl who are looking for something to watch on wednesday
also..new characters! season 1 was so successful with new characters so maybe thats what they should do

I agree with pete.
The show is getting good already, the only thing that it really needs is some positive press.
Get word back out about the show to the mainstream public and people will more than likely tune in.

People need to be told the show is going back to its roots with good stories and compelling characters. This volume has been a redemption of sorts (excuse the play on the projected title of Volume V). The problem is a weak volume II and volume III have turned off a lot of people and they are finding it hard to come back. But they don't know what they are missing.

The main problem I find qith the show is the fact that some characters are immortalized. In Seaon One, anyone could die. It added depth. But now, the stars have been eastablished. Nothing will happen to Peter, Claire, Hiro, Matt or Sylar. So to add depth, the only characters that die are the secondary ones introduced each season such as Elle, Daphne, Flint etc. Sadly this means that the show never has any new blood for very long. Just once I'd like to see a new character last.
Meanwhile, I think what Villains lacked was a structure. It was so obviously made up as it went along, whereas Season One and Two both had a structure based on the same principle- The characters are scattered and living normal lives, something threatens thje world and the heroes are slowly drawn together. A trip to the future takes place to establish what would happen should our heroes fail, and a trip to the past establishes the origins of such a threat. Villains tried to do this but was so obviously unplanned that it failed. What Heroes needs to do is sit down and make a clever, catchy storyline and then build a season around it, rather than just writing it episode-by-episode.

I think this season is much better than last. The 1st season was excellent and it got lame last season but its back. It just needs to hang on for awhile and maintain this level of quality.

Their was a lot of good stuff that happened in "Cold Snap"; everything you guys complained the show was lacking. It concentrated on character development, and along with that, some thrilling action. Matt coming to terms, with letting somebody really close to him go. Tracy learning to redeem herself as a person, by sacrificing herself, enabling Micah to get away and save the other heroes. HRG has been put in a difficult position (Yeah, I know, nothing new) of, perhaps, being the last hope for anybody with a special ability. And Danko, has something mysterious and intriguing about him; can't wait to see what his history is all about.
HEROES, by any means, is not a perfect show. But, there is a lot of good and positive things that the show has going for it right now. And if you guys miss that, you don't deserve a show like this.

There are alot things being said that i agree with alot. I think the direction the show is going in is very positive and needs to continue on the path. Lets face it nothing will ever beat season 1. But they are definitly making a much better effort then with villians. As far as i am concerned Villians never happened and what the show needs like pete said is publicity and word of month. Don't worry i think the viewers will slowly trickle back in as long as they continue this pace. Also having Bryan Fuller back makes a huge difference in the show. I am very excited for the rest of the season.
