i totally agree with both ABROWN2382 and alsooooo with SEZA80......whats wrong with u poeple they are making rules and basics of the season 4 but soo far its about time we see the petrelli boys togather.
    rock on peter

  2. Joel Says:

    TOTALLY AGREE WITH Abrown2382

  3. gotay78 Says:

Pretty dull episode, but I think that it sets up Alice to either be a villian in Season 5 or to have some main part in next season. Otherwise, this is getting worse than the last season of OZ and Soprano's combined! Also, I wish they showed more into the History of Dr. Suresh and Sylar...and more especially on Samson's childhood and how he grew into a killer from the hunger...We'll I guess we'll see what happens next..

  4. Jason Says:

This wasnt the best episode in terms of excitement but it served more as the set up for the end of the season and leading into season 4.

In the next plot arc there is goign to be a main (FEMALE) villian that is introduced "at the end of Volume 4". Last nights episode was the set up and introduced us to our villian of next season, Alice.

As for why Angela just left Alice there.... well for one, her parents are there. She left her sister with her parents... thats really not all that bad. Angela didn't take Alice with because the plan was to escape and find help. The whole reason to escape was to get out, get help, and get back ASAP. But the very first night they left hell broke loose in crapola sands and when Angela and co. (its assumed that they did) get back to crapola sands. Everyone they tried to save would have been dead...

That is really what started the company... Maybe Adam founded it but it was that night that really put things in motion. Angela and co. then goes on to erase memorys, kill, and make people diapear untill every trace of their existance is gone....

Alice goes into hiding for 50 years creating an extreamly mentaly and emotionaly unstable person with what I would call devistating powers. i just hope the actress who plays Alice is up to the task, thats not going to be an easy role to sell considering she's so unstable.

  5. Mysteryzac Says:

as for the company background, actually they didn't really destroy it...all she said was i had a dream one day we will start a company, cause i mean really it was said that adam founded it for his own personal gain but maybe her dream wasn't the most detailed. But I did like how finally after 2 and 4/5 seasons we finally got to see charles' power. Anyway, as far as her saying we'll form a company...i mean did she say everyone who was in it, when they'd do it, how, where, i mean all she vaguely told them was we'll start one. I know when it comes to heroes we all want to pick it apart as quick as possible, but people need to realize that nothing they ever could or would do will measure up to season 1 no matter how hard they tried cause the idea was so new and fresh then, I think we all need to accept that cause if not we're only going to keep trashing the show for the littlest things. And also if you haven't noticed the only thing that stuck from season two was niki dying, Elle - dead bob - dead adam - dead monica - never cast again west - showed up in a web comic. At the end of season two bob calls angela and says sorry for shooting nathan then in season three we find out it was future peter...all I'm saying is any storyline developed in season two, don't put any faith in it cause it was a dud..which sucks cause i think it would have been awesome.

  6. Sezza80 Says:

I'm not convinced about the whole leaving her behind thing. If Angela was really that concerned about Suresh then why leave her sister there (she said she had a dream about Suresh, could it have been when he slapped her sister and then all that mayhem started, cos if so why the hell leave your sister behind to face that, let alone your parents?! It's one thing for a rational adult to sum up the situation and make informed decisions but she was an emotional 16 year old, she wouldn't leave her family, and especially not wait til her sister had made the weather go crazy so she couldn't help)? The 'she'll slow us down' thing just doesn't work for me. I do like the mystery of the show and it's fun finding out things but they're not always solved and I fear this will be one of those situations. If they do explain later then great, I really hope they do (I just suspect they won't).
I really wanted to enjoy this episode, and in some ways I did, it could have been better is all.

  7. coolgirl Says:

i like flashback episodes, and as for alice bein left bhind i think that there was another prophet at the camp or someone else who knew what woud happen in th futur, mayb thay told alice to stay for some reason like keepin the owrld safe, lets face it her power is pretty dangerous and she wasn't the most 'controllable' person when it came to powers was she? the petrelli's can be boring but i love em! i think that they intentionally left those plotholes, kinda like how they didn't reveal all in 'six monthes ago...' they're intentionally leavin stuff out for future episodes so that it can be explained better. dont you want a mystery to solve?

  8. Sezza80 Says:

I thought the episode was good, not great cos it was mostly pretty depressing or downbeat stuff but the twist at the end was cool. The guy playing Linderman was awful (why not just hire an English actor, I'm sure there are plenty in California, and probably at least a couple who look more like Malcolm), dreaful accent and didn't look like older Linderman at all. Charles was okay, as was Bob. I'm still not sure what Charles' power was (is it the same as Matt/Maury or Eden or what?), if that's all he can do then how did he know Peter was invisible (or whatever the hell he was doing, not sure if he was actually there or just dreamed himself like Angela or what) on the rooftop with him in Season 1 (there's got to be more to him than that)?
The young Angela looked like Cristine (good casting), but all that stuff about not taking Alice was a bit redundant (how exactly would she have slowed them down and what did they think would happen to her? It can't be that those 4 were just stupid, bad writing there, surely they'd realise her power was powerful and they could use it, also I can't beleive Angela would consider leaving her little sister forever, surely she dreamt what would happen).
Seriously, someone needs to take the decision to cut Claire's hair next season (I mean it's not like it's going to intefere with the plot), those wigs are getting worse by the week (and she had time to get a fringe/bangs cut while on the run with Nathan).
I can't wait to get back to the proper action next week. I like the petrellis but their episodes do seem to keep being a tad depressing and lacking in action. The writers need to merge their plot developments with something more exciting so we get a better mix.

  9. MZBrink Says:

I felt like this story could have been worked in at another point. Maybe beginning of next season. It's a really good origin story for alice as a villain, but outside of that single use, it was just filled with extraneous tidbits of heroes mythology... but I am happy to finally learn Charles Duveaux's power.

  10. Affedemill Says:

    Очень понравилось, даже не ожидала.

  11. Abrown2382 Says:

Seriously what is wrong with you people first its the show is too slow then its too fast, where is character development, all I read about are people who whine about the show being so bad.... and that this episode wasn't good. This episode revealed a lot only if you pulled your head out of your butt long enough to realize that they are setting up for next season, notice they talked about redemption and that is supposedly the title for the next volume so lets see where this episode takes us before we say something sucks. Good lord stop complaining and if you think you can write better try it.

  12. Mysteryzac Says:

I liked it, and as far as the whole not having anything to do with this season thing...it pretty much told us this all almost happened before, what the company was all about, little charles and linderman!!!! lol!!!!! And it set up for the future, sure not the best but I actually thought the character interaction was pretty good, and Angela's dad busting out that sick power right before they shot him in the chest. I will agree with everyone that it wasn't the best, but i feel like its not an important episode yet. lol I do like how they explained angela's thing for stealing socks too : )

  13. nmdsiue07 Says:

How about the ending though? Pretty cool seeing most of us were correct in predicting Sylar would try to run for President as Nathan. Finally we will see the Heroes confront and try to take down Sylar!! I truly don't believe this episode was the best, but I think it laid some groundwork for season 4. It was about time we found about how the company started! If they are smart Alice will help save Angela somehow in the season finale, making this episode much more relevant then all of think at this moment. Plus this episode also contained some great interactions between Nathan, Peter, HRG, Mohinder, and Claire. We needed this to get to where we will go next episode with Nathan and Peter trying to take down Sylar.

  14. Ali Says:

I loved that ending part where they see Sylar as Nathan on tv. But that was the only part I liked. Mainly I thought this episode was quite boring, mostly because it didn't have Sylar in it. But I'm still a huge Heroes fan.

  15. ehhh Says:

idk about you guys buttt i think this episode was OKAY. not a GREAT episode but an okay one. not to many plot holes but they could've filled us in more on whats going on with alice's part in everything and why she couldn't go with Angela.

  16. joe Says:

    Yawn. Simply yawn.

On another note, what was the name of the song that was playing on the radio as Charles and Angela were dancing at the cafe?

  17. Samaritan Says:

I am a HUGE Heroes fan, dissecting each episode regarding writing, camera work, actor/actress performance, etc. And I must say that this was the worst episode of the season. Seemingly rather pointless and disposable (BTW, I've never said that about an episode thus far).
