In defense of Heroes, many viewers were likely tuned to the NCAA Championship Game last night.
Then again, that contest didn't begin until halfway through the episode - and any loyal Heroes fan could have missed the opening few minutes of North Carolina's blowout of Michigan State.
However you analyze it, the show dipped to a new series low last night: only 6.05 million people tuned in for it.
The show was also down 30% in the important 18-49 year-old demographic.
Angela Petrelli will be the focus of next week's installment. Let's hope it turns the ratings around!

there was alot going on last night from Opening Day baseball and the NCAA Championship game. Is it wrong of me to watch Heroes an hour later from my DVR. Nowadays people can watch more than just a few shows per night. I'm sure the ratings system isn't really correct anymore.

nmdsiue07,
dude, you shouldn't risk it with the ratings skydiving! dvr the shows that aren't dying! I'm not worried myself, and here's why:NBC are still holding on to Kings, even if it is on a Saturday, and not only does that show cos $6m/epi, where heroes costs $4m/epi, it also has ratings of around 3.6m, and heroes is a LONG way from that number... its all good.

wow
okay let me just say something since everyone is soooooo stupid about heroes ratings
like half the people watch it online at nbc's website
ratings mean absolutely nothing for a show that is watched mainly online
gg noobs worrying themselves over nothing

Yessir, where are you getting your "facts" from? Not sure that half the people watch online NBC... but i'm happy to be proven wrong.

Heroes have returned to its right path.
It's getting more and more interesting now.

One of the main reasons i DVR heroes is because i work until 9 which is right when it ends in my time zone. I'm not a nielson household anyway so I wouldn't even count in the ratings. That's how it works right? only like a portion of the households in the U.S. are nielson households
