For once, the winner of this week's Heroes Caption Contest was a no-brainer.

Angela, Sister

Alice: It was so scary! The ratings just kept falling and falling and falling!

Heroes Preview: "I Am Sylar"

First, Angela Petrelli.

Now, Sylar.

Last week, Angela was the main focus of Heroes, as the show delved deeply into her past.

Next week, the series will take a similar route with everyone's favorite bad guy. Watch the preview below for "I Am Sylar."

Heroes Episode Guide, Photos, Quotes & More from "1961"

We really had high hopes for this episode of Heroes.

But "1961" never seemed to fulfill its promise, as there were too many plot holes (why, exactly, couldn't Alice accompany her sister on the escape years ago? Because the storyline required her to stay behind?), as well as an overall pointless feeling when the hour ended:

Angela brought everyone to Coyote Sands, making such a big deal out of reuniting the family... for what purpose? How was that plan ever supposed to affect the ongoing issue of Danko and Sylar? It just never came together for us.

How about you? Read our detailed recap of "1961" if you missed it and please write in and let us know what you thought of this installment. Did the light shed on Angela's past seem worthwhile or useless to you?

Heroes Caption Contest LXVI

As always, we'd like to thank every user that submitted an entry to this week's Heroes Caption Contest.

Sylar: Owww! Mohinder, this is the worst haircut ever!

Heroes Photos from "1961"

You know what they say:

A family that digs up dead bodies together, stays together.

The Petrellis prove that adage in next week's episode, "1961." It focuses heavily on Angela.

Heroes Spoilers: The Posssible, Quasi Return of Daphne

Sorry, Daphne lovers. But the speedster is dead.

Totally, absolutely, completely dead.

But does this mean we've seen the last of Brea Grant on the show? Producers are leaving open a bit of wiggle room. They recently told TV Guide:

"Since Heroes sometimes tells stories in a non-linear way, you shouldn't bet on never seeing her again."

Daphne Pic

RIP, Daphne.

Heroes Ratings Drop... Again

In defense of Heroes, many viewers were likely tuned to the NCAA Championship Game last night.

Then again, that contest didn't begin until halfway through the episode - and any loyal Heroes fan could have missed the opening few minutes of North Carolina's blowout of Michigan State.

However you analyze it, the show dipped to a new series low last night: only 6.05 million people tuned in for it.

The show was also down 30% in the important 18-49 year-old demographic.

Troubled Angela

Angela Petrelli will be the focus of next week's installment. Let's hope it turns the ratings around!
