We've already heard Claire Bennet's thoughts on the first season of Heroes, as well as what lies ahead for her and her pals.
And which of these friends was Claire most concerned about? Peter Petrelli, of course. Makes sense, considering how he saved her life and all. With that in mind, we sat down with this focused hero and asked him a few questions...
The Fanatic: How are you feeling after, you know, exploding?
Peter: I've got a headache, but it's nothing a few Advil and Claire's ability to regenerate won't cure. Thanks for asking.
The Fanatic. Of course. We're worried about you. So, what's next? Are you on a mission to track down Sylar?
Peter: Not yet. Don't get me wrong. I'm not afraid of Sylar or anything. He's just had more time to hone his skills, use them in an efficient manner. As the explosion proved, my body can't handle all these new developments yet. I've gotta train myself before I take on Sylar again.
The Fanatic: Makes sense to us. Talk to us about your relationship with Nathan.
Peter: It gets stronger everyday. Nathan wants to help people, but feels like being in office is the best way to do it. To get there, he had to be cold and calculating at times. I get that. And, come on, I know I sounded like a loon when I first approached him about flying. So there were never any hard feelings about his initial reaction.
But you saw how he reacted to end last season. Nathan Petrelli has a heart of gold, he just shows it in different ways than most.
The Fanatic: You've seen the struggles Peter Parker goes through, attempting to protect his loved ones from the dangers of being Spider-Man and the enemies he makes through such heroic actions. Do you worry about the harmful consequences of your dual life to those such as your mother?
Peter: Have you see my mother?!? [Laughs] I worry about her harming me every time she gives me an icy stare. I also think she isn't so innocent when it comes to this hero stuff. She'll be fine.
The Fanatic: Wait. Did you just laugh?!? That's a first for Peter Petrelli, isn't it?
Peter: Well, I took on the power of Dr. Hibbard from The Simpsons, so I'm able to summon a guffaw from time to time now.
