HRG IS a BADASS!. I'm glad the show had that spin at the end.

I have to agree with the others that Claire and Elle are not sisters - I think the look that passed btwn them was Elle looking at what she could have been if she hadn't been locked up in Company quarters . . . .
As for the whole Adam Monroe thing - what if Claire isn't really Nathan's daughter - what if she's Adam's daughter? Maybe her mother had an affair . . .
I really want to see more of Sylar and what happens with him and Maya/Alejandro. I'll bet that Sylar kills Suresh in the apartment.
Also curious to see what's up with HRG - I think that Bob brought him back b/c he has his own agenda to fullfil and maybe HRG has information that he needs. I'd be curious to see if HRG, by being injected with the blood, could possibly start exhibiting his own power??

I've been thinking about this episode all night. It was awesome. Here's my two cents. Elle and Claire aren't related. This isn't a daytime soap; not everyone has to be a blood relation. Likewise, I don't think Adam's powers extend beyond his cellular regeneration. Like I've mentioned earlier in another post, this show will get really silly really fast if they start randomly dishing out extra powers to satisfy plot points. I was shocked that Mohinder actually shot Bennett. I didn't think it would happen. But I'm guessing he did so to protect his research towards a cure for the Shanti virus. Bob has the plan (and Clarie's plasma) to do so. In order to preserve that, Mohinder had to take Bennett down. As for who brought Bennett back, I have no idea. But that dingy little hospital room he was in looked a helluva lot like the room Sylar was in when we found out he was still alive. If this is so, who is the mastermind behind this jungle facility? The Company? Adam? Someone we haven't met yet? And beyond that, who else could they have revived (this will no doubt feed theories that Linderman is still alive somewhere). One of the things I'm loving about these past few episodes is that more of the people with powers are acting in more of a grey area as opposed to I'm good and you're bad type of scenario. Although Adam is still an enigma to me. He has good motivation to bump off the original 12 -- and that was reaffirmed for us by Kaito Nakamura when we saw the rehash of his little chat with Angela on the roof of the DeVeaux building. They had imprisoned him for 30 years. Adam didn't agree with their way of doing business (remember, these are the people who were willing to sacrifice New York City, including some of their own children). I want to think Adam wants to do the right thing, but things will get pretty messy when he encounters Hiro, especially if they realize they hate each other but are fighting the same fight. It will also put Peter in quite the predicament, which could be what leads to Hiro holding the sword to his throat (as we saw in the preview for next week). All I know is Monday nights are going suck after Dec. 3 This writers' strike has to end yesterday.Posted 11/20/2007 10:24:16 AM #

forget about the elle kissing peter thingy, that would be kinda wierd!
I officially change my opinion!

I liked the peter/Hiro sword thing. Very cool how peter plainly says, "Hello Hiro." and hiro's all pissed off, probably cause he saw peter working with Adam and peter doesn't know Adam is "bad." Who is good and evil is yet to be decided. They did this to us last season, kept us on the edge about good and evil. Let you make that choice for yourself. But I will always believe that Matt, Peter, and Hiro will be fighting for good, actual good not what the company says is the greater good.
I have a feeling that the bennet family will not know Noah is alive until the last episode. And by the way, is this a season finale or just a break in the season, RE the writer's strike? And if the strike goes on too long will NBC abandon the show all together. I REALLY REALLY hope not. With the lose of so many other great sci-fi shows due to network cancellations, my heart couldn't take another lose. Man, I need me a life fast. Also, I believe Mohinder did have a hand in helping Bennet, I’m not sure if the company helped. Maybe Mohinder went behind their backs and finally did something right. And I also believe that this episode was made so much better by not having Maya and alejandro in it. I never liked their storyline. The only thing that made Maya’s character better was Sylar being with her. Sure it’s fun watching her slowly diminish Mexico’s population as they point out how lax the security is on the American border, but it does get old. I hope sylar kills her soon and gains her power.Posted 11/20/2007 11:20:52 AM # -
I agree that this episode was better without Maya and Alejandro. I can't see a purpose for a power to kill, unless there's a reciprocal/alter power that can save/heal. As for Sylar, chances are he was on a cocktail like Peter, which stripped him of his powers temporarily. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts to get his powers back in time.
There is so much going on without Sylar and company.....let's hope not too much time is wasted on them in these "last" episodes.....

OK SO HERE IS WHAT I THINK. MOHINDER AND HRG BOTH SAW THE PAINTINGS AND KNEW HRG WAS GOING TO DIE. SO THEY SET IT UP. MOHINDER KILL HRG AND BRINGS HIM BACK TO LIFE. THIS IS TO MAKE BOB THINK HE IS DEAD AND NO LONGER A THREAT TO THE COMPANY. IT'S ALL PART OF THE FUTURE PALN TO BRING DOWN THE COMPANY. AS FOR ELLE AND CLAIRE I THINK THE LOOK WS ELLE SECRETLY WISHING SHE HAD A NORMAL LIFE. THERE WILL BE PURE HATE BETWEEN BOTH OF THE GIRLS FOR FUTURE SHOWS. AS FOR HIRO HE IS GOING AFTER ADAM AND PETER IS GOING TO BE CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE . I REALLY DONT THINK ADAM IS ALL TOGETHER BAD HE IS JUST PISSED OFF FOR BEING LOCKED UP FOR 30 YEARS.

1) I don't think Claire and Elle are sisters, but I do agree that they had a moment when they walked pass each other. I think the girls knew each other when they were younger, but Elle had her memory erased and Claire was probably too young to remember.
2) I think it was Adam's blood that saved HRG and not Claire's. If you remember Angela Petrelli's conversation with Matt, she talks about how Adam Monroe evolved from regenerating to becoming immortal to curing others with his blood. I don't think Claire has reached that stage yet becuase she's had her powers since she was little and she still grew older. I don't think her blood is going to do anything.
3) I love the set up of the mystery woman from the picture. Mama Petrelli put up a good mental fight to protect her. It really makes you wonder what she's all about. I hope they get a good cameo appearance from an A-list actress to play her. I think they've run out of Trekkies bring on the show....unless it's Leonard Nimoy in drag. I'd watch that.

Look, I'm also not a big fan of the Maya storyline, but if this prediction hasn't been made, I'll go ahead and make it - she can kill Adam. Dead. When the medicine woman or whoever "reads" her way back in one of the early episodes, she says that she is cursed, with a power that would kill even the devil. I always assumed thats a bit of foreshadowing.

So many good theories and points made. It makes more sense that Mohinder redeemed himself by helping HRG (or that it was the plan between those two all along) than it does that Bob did, but I did notice Bobs facial expression when Noah was shot.............It was sincerely remorseful and actually makes me think he does have some capacity for good somewhere - even after being so corrupt and cold for so long. Either that, or he thought to himself, "damn, there goes my leverage" (or critical information)
Maybe Bobs plan is to bring him back to life, have the Haitian wipe his memory (which I doubt the Haitian would do) and keep him as an employee along with utilizing Claire for the company and subjecting her to tons of tests.
I've realized that Mohinder can't be blamed for doing what he felt was right anymore that HRG could be blamed for his. HRG would do anything, including kill in cold blood, if it meant Claire would be safe. Well, Suresh finally reached a point where he had to kill for what he felt was right - unless of course it was all a set up. Which would be another great twist. Anyways, the most likely scenario would be for Suresh to have just used his gun to get HRG to safety without Bob or Elle, along with the fresh bag of Claires blood.
I'm almost beginning to think that Mohinder is a lot more powerful than they have let on. Not with any abilites though. Like the guy that's always playing the role of honest, incapable and sometimes aloof assistant, who turns out to be the ultimate evil mastermind behind the curtain even though he's always right out there in front of you. Even though it ended up backfiring on him due to Sylars powers - we caught a glimpse of his evil cunning when he tricked Sylar into drinking the laced chai and interrogated him back in season 1. If he ends up being the one manipulating everyone for some reason currently unknown, that would be the twists of all twists.
