This episode was so satisfying after how slow things have been leading up to it, such a shame the ridiculous writers strike will likely end causing a 6+ month hiatas on the rest of the season but anyway.......
Claire and Elle being related: I dont really care either way though there does seem to be a fair amount of incidental evidence to support the theory and the comments HRG made about not wanting claire to turn out like Elle.
Kaito/Hiro: I liked how this was done I love Hiro's growth as a character, though Im sticking with my Hiro couldnt save his dad without removing his reason to go back and save him being negated.......however it would have been posssible provided he had the means to do so for Kaito to save himself so long as he still faked his death at least until after his funeral so Hiro still traveled back to warn him. As for the preview shot of him holding a sword to peters neck doesnt take much to figure out since peter is working with Sam who killed Hiro's dad.
The thing I really love is how the show deals with things in shades of grey, its extraordinarily difficult to paint anyone as simply a good or a bad guy. The characters and even organizations like the company all recall obi wans "certain point of view line" Even Sylar isnt so black and white sure he is a serial killer but from a purely biological point of view he is simply improving himself taking abilites from others who dont want them/dont make proper use of them/lack the control required to possess them (case in point Ted Sprague's ability niether he or Peter could/can control it properly while Sylar due to his personel power exhibited incredible control immediatly)/or simply do not deserve them. Indeed I really hope that they explore that as development in Sylars character that anyone who is able to fight him off has proven the right to keep their powers just would be an interesting quirk.
The Mohinder Hate: Now guys seriously put yourself in Mohinders shoes take away your more god like knowledge of events and your personel preferences for different causes and really the dude is just out of his depth all he really wants to do is continue his fathers work and help these people HRG was going to execute BOB simple as that what Bob has or hasnt done really doesnt factor into it he was going to execute Bob and Mohinder acted like his character would and I believe it was Claires blood used on HRG and the Mohinder would have been the one to put that into action. Why would Bob save HRG? To keep Mohinder happy which while not their top priority does seem to be important at least for the moment also with HRG in custody getting more of claires blood shouldnt be that hard.
However I dont think Claires blood does cure the virus for 2 reasons 1) In the preview Niki is telling Mica ahe has the virus which could be occuring while the events of this episode were occuring or it could be that it was used to heal Noah but even if the majority was used on Noah they still would have put aside a small amount to test its effects on the mutated strain but as I say I dont thnk it works. 2) At the end of the graphic novel about maya it was implied that her ability perhaps being ultimatly a blessing wrapped in a curse using the whole learning the secret to keeping beneficial cells healthy by studying the immortal cancer cells, anyway look at it yourslf you will see what I mean, no I believe it will be Maya/Alejandro who end up curing the virus.
