Ok first off I think it was completely pointless to show Maya and Alejandro in this episode, it was supposed to be "4 months ago" to explain what happened to the characters from season 1. Why would the audience care about what happened to "new" characters 4 months ago, that was extremely lame. And what insight did it give us, ok so Maya was killing people 4 months ago as well, big whoop. They should have showed Sylar, I can't believe one of the most peopular and influential characters was not shown. Big time slip up by the Kring.
Next big flop was the killing of DL, W-T-F. So he survives an actual meaningful scene being shot by Linderman, a scene with actual purpose. Only to die by some random drug head in a club, absolutely terrible Kring. They should have just had him die from Lindermans shot, I mean what a waste of time. What was the point in him living, what, to be a damn firefighter are you kidding me?! Dumb dumb dumb. Also it was incredibly lame he died from that anyway. Someone said he didn't have time to "activate" his power, are you serious?! So not 5 mins before, that same guy takes a swing at him in a split second and DL phases through that, but he couldn't figure out he probably needed to use his power again when the guy is standing in front of him at the bottom of the stairs...puuuulease. That was just lame writing by the show, don't defend it. And how the hell did that guy get a gun in the club anyway, and no way he would want to just shoot some guy that shows up claiming to be someones husband. Dumb.
Ok for the bright spots. The Nathan and Peter scene with the bomb, excellent. I think Adam is actually a good guy in a way. Unless he's lying to Peter (which he could be), Adam says he tried to go public with his ability and BOB and the company locked him away. I think Adam is just trying to take the originals out cause they are essentially trying to take him out, can't really fault him too much for feeling that way.
I thought this episode made Elle pretty cool, I wasn't liking her character previously but shes pretty bad ass.
I'm also beginning to believe Angelas power is persuasion of some sort. I just thought it was odd the camera kept showing Angela touching Heidi in all sorts of areas as she was talking to her about keeping things secret and what not. And at first it seemed Heidi wasn't buying it only to agree with Angela in the end.
I think Hiro is going to go back and try to save his dad, thats where Adam and Hiro will square off for the confrontation.
Sylar will take out Alejandro so he can be immune to Mayas ability and use her as a weapon.
Peter seems to be in line with Adam and his plan, however I'm just not sure if he will actually go along with it, and if Hiro and Peter cross paths again, I'm sure Hiro will straighten Peter out on Adam. But the question is, is Adam actually bad?
I don't think HRG is going to die. Yes alot of Issacs paintings have come true, but mostly the ones that the people involved weren't aware of. For example, the bomb blowing up New York painting was discovered and it was avoided because they did what they needed to do to avoid it. I think since HRG has seen that painting, I think it will get avoided. And it looked like in the preview, HRG was holding the gun on Mohinder.
All in all it wasn't what I hoped, but it's still a bad ass show and the next 3 should be pretty good.
