Yeah, I read one of the spoilers and it said West makes it through most of the season and dies at the end. That's not confirmed, but I did read it. It said that Claire falls for him and has a romance then West is killed or dies somehow... sorry...

Lets set the record straight.  In the credits, the name Jeph Loeb shows up.  Jeph Loeb writes comic books.  2nd season, it might be in your best interest to not pretend to be a geek and get your facts straight before you go off on something that is two episodes long.  As for the identity of the mystery killer....it's got to be one of the nine.  That's my thought about it anyway.

Even though I wouldn't say I like West's character as much as Peter's I still really like it and I hope that the spoiler was wrong and that he won't die. I also think that some theories are a little far-fetched, but then I remember that it is Heroes and you don't really know what to expect.

I agree that Kyle Lucas makes you think of someone young. When I heard his name I just assumed that he would be around Peter's age. I don't know if Peter's power is actually electricity manipulation, but I don't think that it's from his mom or that her power went haywire at the station. I do wonder if Mrs. Petrelli actually has a power, because I thought that the group that assembled together were people who had powers, but there's nothing about if she has one or not. Also, even though it's not the case with everyone, but some people with abilities have children with abilities. I wonder about Mr. Petrelli (Peter and Nathan's dad). He died early in the season and I wonder if he had any powers or if he might fit into the story (not necessarily anything big, but if his existence could explain something going on now).

The people in charge of casting should be ashamed of themselves for hiring actors with such bad "Irish" accents.  I am from Cork myself, firstly none of us sound like that and thousands of boats do not come in to Cork harbour each week . At first I was thrilled to see Heros decided to include an Irish element but as soon as it started I wished they had'nt bothered. Cleary very little research was put into the repsentation of  Cork, Ireland by Heroes. It makes me question the representation of other countries and cultures on the show.

I'd just like to point out that I don't believe Mrs. Petrelli's ability is the electricity.  Every time Peter has absorbed an ability, he has unexpectedly used it, like a reaction that occurs.  Think about it.  Every single ability.  Now, seeing as how he's been near his mother for several time in the season, hell, his whole life, wouldn't he have remembered having a reaction that involved electricity?  Therefore, he must have aquired this ability fresh some point from when he exploded, to when he awoke in Cork.  There's another thing I'd like to point out that I hope gets revealed in this season as well.  During Peter's "dream" about Charles and Angela talking about the explosion...how the hell did they find out about before even Issac painted it?  Somebody must have predicted it or shown them it was going to happen because they knew about it.  Any theories?

i thought that the electricity was the after effect of the nuclear man, after peter exploded maybe its was all the pen up electricty lol im guessing her but i think the electricty might be an after effect of his huge explosion all thats left is a sort of spark.

godsend, that's not true. Think about nathan. It was, I think, because he was around Nathan most of his life that he didn't have a reaction to flight. He had the dreams about it and everthing, but never had the reaction. It wasn't until his powers started to immerge and he was around other people that he started having the automatic reaction. I think it is plausible that, being around his mother so much, he grew accustomed to it without ever actually displaying it. Who knows though

Well, I think it is just a time thing. It seems to me like it might come in waves or at a certain time in there life. It's like the ecplipse is sign or marker for the next leap in evolution. It happened in the begining of season 1 and it happened when Hiro went back in time to Japan. So, maybe the elighnment of the planets somehow speeds up the 'already' evolved humans and brings there abilities to the surface...

Maybe that's why Kensei didn't realize he had that power untill when he got shot with those arrows. His abilities might not have made themself visible untill after the eclipse...
