Ok i learned my lesson in the first season to not assume right away that b/c a character does something that he is evil..for example for the first few episodes i was convinced HRG was completely evil although i still liked him..but after finishing the season I realized hes actually a good guy he can just get extreme sometimes...but hes definitely my favorite character he genuinely cares for his family i hope he has a plan and he isnt just going to return to the company and thats that! Im still not very clear on why the company was created in the first place and what they do...do they just experiment on people?? and i really like Nathans character he was a jerk pretty much that turned around and sacrificed himself i hope he comes back and i hope it wasnt HRG that shot him..even tho the guy walking away walked like HRG..i dont kno i just hope its revealed that HRG has some big plan and he isnt still a real "company man"...i love the relationship he has w. claire even tho shes been really dumb this season..**sigh** anyone have ne theories on what HRG's future will be?

I think season 3 has the potential to be great.. but in order for this to happen a couple things need to take place..
1). Nathan Petrelli needs to come back.
Ok, he can't die. His job is not finished yet. He is defnitely one of the major leaders of all the heroes. People look to him. And didn't Linderman say he would become president?? The Petrelli brothers are a dynamic duo and to kill one (this early in the season) is like killing Robin and leaving Batman. Both the brothers will team up to down mother dearest. So in my opinion, Nathan Petrelli will live.
2).Nikki has got to go.
I don't see her coming back from this one. Honestly, who wants her back? I don't think Micah will be able to develop into his true character, and unleash his full potential until Nikki is gone. She holds him back. So, Nikki is gone.
3). There are alot of complaints from fans about the issue of the blood. and how "Noone will die because the blood will make them immortal." This is not necessarily true. I don't think you can bring heroes back who have had their powers taken away by Sylar. (Isaac mendez, Ted, etc.) However, those who still have their powers when they die, could potentially be brought back.honestly, who knows. I don't even think the producers know. i see this as a potential flaw in the series. They have some explaining to do..
but as for now, get nathan back and lose nikki..

You know, in that split second that Peter was able to get himself through the vault door to stop the virus from being released, I almost thought to myself: "Hey, the virus got released. Cool."
I thought it would have been cool if the virus got released. Makes everything all the more exciting.
About Caitlin, I don't really care much about her. The problem with volume 2 was that they didn't dedicate time to character building and so we're left with these people who we can't really sympathize with. West would have been an excellent character had they given him more dimension. He just seemed like Claire's annoying boy toy. If they had shown more scenes of how traumatized he was by being abducted by the company, we could sympathize with him more. Like say, having nightmares and being overly paranoid that it's beginning to affect his social functioning. And if they had done this instead of building him up as Claire's love connection, we would have understood why he would go to lengths to conceal his identity (i.e. Shooting Nathan?)
See, I don't believe that HRG would shoot Nathan. If he did, then by god he's one serious family man. West would be a much more believable character, and it would totally destroy things between him and CLaire, as Nathan is Claire's biological dad and she would go ballistic if she found out West had something to do with it. Which I guess would be the same thing if HRG had done it, they all connect to Claire.
As for Adam, he can get himself out of that coffin easily. Ever seen Kill Bill? Since Adam can heal himself he can just do the fist thingy that Uma Thurman did in that movie and get himself out. Easy as peas. No need to concern ourselves with how one of our uber-villains gets to eat.
Nathan should die because, as someone else mentioned, he is the epitome of a true hero: giving everything up for the sake of "world peace". But there is a reason it is devastating. If they had killed someone else off, it wouldn't have resounded with viewers as much as Nathan's death would have. Unfortunately, I think it is too soon for Nathan to have been killed off. He had so much potential still on the show.
Micah is indeed a dangerous little boy. Ever seen Live Free and Die Hard? Micah could set off a fire sale just like that. He could totally become a villain. Being orphaned opens new doors for the kid, as he is now less dependent on his mother and more inclined to rebel. Maybe Monica could be his sidekick. They could be an unbeatable team, if only Monica can store her learned abilities.

all the surprises and evrytin is what makes heroes interesting.. i liked the final heroes faceoff epsiode..
Ya the fact tht ny1 can be made immortal wid claire's blood.. .is kinda boring.. but there has to be some provision for tht.. like shud be doen in sum definite period of time or the blood strains shud be a bit matching and all.. And i was wondering... if claire is relatred to adam in any way. coz they both have same powers..
this is my 1st post in this forum.. great to discuss about the episodes wid so many people... sylar is kinda boring. peter is cool.. but not a superhero material..

100% sure that's HRG who killed nathan

I just see a crapload of people. Where do you see HRG? About that Kill Bill thing - it was a dumb movie and that is TOTALLY unrealistic. Even if she did manage to punch through that without COMPLETELY fucking up her hand (not just bleading), it would ruin the coffin, and quite possibly let all that dirt (and dirt is HEAVY) collapse on her, killing her instantly. If not, thers no way she'd be able to crawl out of all that freakin' dirt, she's no worm/mole. Sure, Adam doesn't have to worry about being crushed (unless its like...flat, including his head, in which case he's screwed), but he wouldn't be able to crawl out of all that dirt. I dont think so, at least.
About Micah, yeah... now that he's an orphan, him going evil sounds not only like more interesting storyline, but probable. He doesn't seem like the evil type, though. Then again, remember when his cousin lost the medal? Didn't have any problem beating the crap out of him...

That screen shot is pretty misleading, cuase that thing that looks like the rim of glasses on the guy with the cap is actually the head of one of the police men who is about to show up in a couple of frames. Plus, HRG doesnt walk the way that guy in the cap did; that guy walks more like Peter (Peter from the future maybe?) Or they could have just used some random actor to further trick the audiences, and we can just keep on guessing.

wow wot a finale and vol 3 should be boss cos the only thing cooler than a hero is a super villan. it is cool that some charachters were killed off (not nathan tho...) to make room for new charachters, and stories. "Villans" has the potential to be truly great cos lets face it theres nothing cooler than watching evil triumph! Bring on vol 3 and lets hope all the writers get wot their after so we can have wot were after.

The one who shot Nathan walked freely as if nothing happened.
So my theory is: It has to be some “invisible guy”
TAKE NOTE: He wasn’t even on a far distance when he did that yet no one can’t see who it was.
Try to take a look again on Matt’s face when he was trying to see who shot nathan at the back of the panicked crowd. He can’t see anything BUT we did see a man walking out the room.
ANSWER: That’s because we’re the viewers… of course we can see who did it..
So for those who said It wasn’t an “INVISIBLE MAN”
that’s funny… there’s something wrong with you

RandomDude!: Uh, you're looking for realism in a show about people with super powers? Really.
All I'm saying is that Adam can heal himself, so if he goes through whatever means necessary to free himself from that coffin and unearth himself from the ground, he would do so unscathed, because his body allows him to do whatever the hell he wants to do with no consequence. I'm not saying he has to do that fist thing that Thurman does in the movie. I'm merely pointing out that there are ways he can emerge from his underground captivity unscathed. I mean, the guy lived for 400 years, you gotta give him some credit for finding ways to survive. But this isn't THE answer, I was merely suggesting. For all we know someone else is going to help him escape--maybe even Hiro.
Now, about the one who shot Nathan, if they wanted us to theorize based on the physical aspects of the guy walking away from the shooting, we wouldn't go with HRG. For one, the guy walking away seemed to amble as he left--nonchalant and even cold-blooded, like shooting Nathan was a task he was sent to do and now that he had done it, he can walk away with no guilt. It's very un-HRG. Second, the is not built like HRG. He is leaner and has more of Sylar's or Peter's silhouette.
For all we know it could be an entirely new character to be introduced in volume 3. So speculation is fine, and very much encouraged, but there's no right or wrong answer here as of now.
