Nathan should not die!! I think his family still has great storylines ahead of them and it just wouldn't be right without him, Peter and Angela all there, I think they form an integral part of the show.
Jessica should definately be back but Nikki should be as well. It doesn't make sense having one without the other and I totally disagree with what they say about having done all they can do with Nikki. If they found a way for Nikki to be in control with Jessica's abilities it would be awesome.
Either Adam or Sylar need to go, I don't really care which, it's just that while their end goals are different to each other their characters traits are too similar, all whiny and selfish and self riteous, I know thats what villians are often like but having two of them is annoying!

Bond3x - - In order for that to happen Gabrrrrrrrriel would have to acquire a power that allows him to "FIND" Adam.....hmmmmm....berrrrrry innnnnterrreesting....

Kal15...
Sylar should have to start over again. The powers he obtained weren't a result of HIS DNA...if the writers are smart (post strike) they have to start him at ground zero, I mean after all - he doesn't KEEP the healing power that he got from the blood (at least no one else has shown that they do) ... it's strictly temporary...I'm hoping...
I also hope for an Optimus Prime / Megatron type of showdown with him and Pete...it's time Gabrrrrrrrrrriel gets it handed to him for real....

First, in Kill Bill, she was buried in a wood box, not a modern metal coffin. Second, Adam's ability doesn't let him do anything. He just regenerates. If he's in a situation where he dies, he'll just die again (assuming he can even regenerate when there's no air). Remember the first thing the characters do upon coming back to life is take a deep breath. He'd just get a lung full of dirt. Niki's "death" was classic a comic book/movie serial/action-adventure cliffhanger. The building explodes, apparantly killing the hero. Next week they emerge. The simplest solution would be Peter or Hiro from the future popping in and taking her out. For the person who mentioned taking Adam to the future and never "catching up", I think you're not thinking it through. Say Hiro takes Adam to January 1, 2010. Assuming Peter, Parkman, Hiro, etc. don't die in the intervening period, they will be alive on that date when Adam "arrives". It's exactly the same thing as Adam knowing Hiro in the past, living 400 years, and then meeting him in the present.Posted 12/5/2007 10:14:58 AM #

OK . . . the sophmore slump of Heroes is over and it's time for a return to something special. If the show doesn't recover from the slow, uninteresting pace of Volume 2, it will drift into obscurity with a boatload of missed potential. That being said, I kinda enjoyed Vol 2 and, when taken with Vol 1, it sets up some interesting potential (maybe that's why we're all still interested enough to post such long posts to this forum).
What are the good things that came out of Vol 2: 1) Adam, 2) Sylar did not die in Volume 1, 3) The history and meaning of the company was revealed and confused at the same time, and 4) I can't think of any more.
While our speculation and theories almost never play out to be true (especially mine), here are a few thoughts on directions I would like to see develop in the "Villans" storyline:
Direction1. The company is still strong and led by Angela Petrelli, Bob, and the mysterious phone caller at the end of Powerless (could be Bob, could be someone else). The needs of their "purpose" appear to outweigh the lives of Peter and Nathan. What if Mr. Petrelli never committed suicide? What if Nathan and/or Peter are not Angela's biological children (company plants like Claire and Elle)? What if one of the Company elders has time travel control like Hiro (e.g., Mr. Petrelli didn't die, he just jumped ahead)?
(Linderman and Angela knew all about Micah, Niki, DL, Claire, and others in Vol. 1. The company seems to know about people with abilities before or just after their powers manifest, hence the whole bag-and-tag operations. Whoever else is in the company leadership was also in on that. They were content to blow up part of New York to get Nathan in the President's office, and they seemed to know that would happen. They now seem to have killed (maybe) Nathan to keep things secret. They saved Sylar's life (but we don't know why) - remeber how HRG was not allowed to kill Sylar in Vol. 1. Also, in Vol 1, it seemed that the Haitians loyalty was to Mrs. Petrelli above HRG. The Company execs seem content to watch and manipulate the petty interactions of the newbies while working toward an ultimate goal . . . Adam was just an inconvenient glitch.)
Item 2. I'd like to have some explaination (even if it's lame) of the prevalence of the sword saint symbol. It's on Jessica's shoulder, the company (everywhere), Peter's fading tatoo, Molly's eyes, in the virus powder dust, on the Haitian's necklace and many more. Why did the Haitian put his necklace on Peter after wiping his memory?
Item 3. Villan issues to develop: 1) Sylar needs to step up to a new level to stay interesting (He's the anti-Peter, so we need a more significant battle of wits and abilities that lasts longer that the last five minutes of Vol. 1). 2) Jessica turning villan would be an interesting twist; would Micah and Monica fight to stop/save here. 3) What's Adam gonna do when he get's out? 4) No more than 1 new character as a villan or the show keeps the same disjointed feel it just came out of. 4) The company and all of its mystery can be a driving force for the villans; they have already used Jessica, they wanted Sylar, but they can't control Adam. 5) I still think there's something fun to do with the cockroaches, but I don't that's gonna happen.
Item 4. A comment on the Heroes varied abilities. The show seems to be following a holistic view of evolution (common in sci fi) where the individual advances occur in one aspect of the triune natre of humanity (mind-body-soul). What I mean is that some abilities are purely advances in mental/brain activities (like Matt/Maury, Molly, Angela Petrelli, Micah, Candace, Hana Gitelman, the Haitian and that girl with the power of persuasion who blew her brains out). Some are purely advances in body/physical abilities (Claire, Adam. Monica, Niki/Jesssica, DL, and Linderman). The soul evolution gets a bit metaphysical, but if they follow the general sci-fi trend (that I don't personally buy into, but it makes for fun stories) of spritual oneness with our surroundings, then the spiritual evolution track would include gaining control over the elements life fire, water, wind, earth, light and time (like Hiro, Nathan, West, Elle, Claude Raines, Claires biological mom, that hydro guy from the graphic novels . . . maybe a new villan could come along with earth control to get Adam out, but a shovel would work just as well).
This would make Peter and Sylar competing forces striving for complete (holistic) evolutionary advances in all three areas. Peter's natural empathic ability would spring from the spiritual track. I'm not sure if Sylar's track is mental, physical, or both; it depends on what he does with the brains. If he eats them (which I doubt) then it's physical. If he can study a brain and "see" how it works and adjust his own brain accordingly, then it's mental.
I'm not sure if the show relly means to be this deep, but it's language seems to make the attempt. I'm probably reading way too much into it, as usual.
Item 5. I liked the suttle humor in Powerless
- Maya wearing a Worlds Greatest Dad apron at the beginning.
- Sylar getting his power back with a can of spinach.
- Matt's obscure reference to the ambiguously gay heroes from SNL. I never liked the SNL sketch, but it made me giggle when he told Nathan not to talk about their flight.

In reply to Keaton Secrest- "
i think that nathan and niki should come back cause they are two of the origanal heroes and they should not die until season 3 4 or 5 if you want to kill somone of then kill monica, micah, maya, mohinder, ando, angellia petrelli, molly,or bob someone with gay powers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BESIDES EVERYONE THAT DIES ON HEROES NEVER STAYS DEAD ITS KINDA STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Perhaps this show is too advanced for you... You want Nathan and Niki back because they are "original heroes", yet in the same extremely long run-on sentance you want to kill Micah and Mohinder? Both of them were "original heroes" and have been around since the opening scenes of the first episode...
As for the last comment about no one staying dead... let's tell that to Candace, to Eve, to Ted, to all of Sylar's victims, to DL, etc... There have been plenty of deaths that were final on this show... A reversal of 2 deaths (Maya and Noah) does not mean that everyone comes back from the dead...
On another note... why is it that everyone is so down on Sylar? He is a VILLIAN, don't mistake your dislike of the villian for him being a bad character. Sylar is a GREAT character. He was stranded without his powers... what did he do? He used a power no one can take from him, his MANIPULATION. He manipulated Maya and Alejandro, just as he's manipulated Dr. Suresh, and Mohinder, the company, Peter, etc... What you all need to realize is this: HEROES NEED VILLIANS. And when it comes to villians, Sylar is the best of them all...

People - just remember - if the show was a simple as ABC answers there would be no show.
Molly would find Sylar, Parkman would tell him to jump into a wood chipper - end of show...
Let it roll...
Let it roll...

I'm still curious who else among the elders have power? Should I be curious? Or does the fact that Angela Petrelli, Kaito Nakamura (then) and Bob Bishop still have not shown their powers mean that they don't have powers?
I agree that if they still want to keep Sylar, they should make more interesting twists in his role, his power. Otherwise, just let Elle fry his brain. Hahahaha!
It's just so sad that they killed Nathan -- Adrian Pasdar is just sooooooooooooooo cute! I cannot forget one of his movies entitled SOLARBABIES. He's just sooooooooo handsome. And they just had to clean him up so well (aaaahhhhh) in Powerless -- only to get shot! Dang!
I wonder how much longer can they make twists out of Heroes. Tim Kring is so impressive.... he's my hero! Hahahaha!

Nathan should definetly survive. The Peter - Nathan combo is the best part of the show and if Nathan goes Peter loses his guiding light. Nikki didn't play a major role in "Generations but should definetly stay as she is very hot and has the ultimate alter ego in jessica. Out of the two i would have to choose Nikki to go. Out of the three that died in the last episode I would have chosen Maya to stay dead as she was a piontless and stupid charecter I think they made a mistake by keeping her in the show.
The return of Sylar can only be a good thing for the show and I can't wait for a battle royal between Sylar and Peter. I can see Sylar going after Molly first (hopefully he fails in her attempt to kill her and it would probably be a bit to extreme for TV if Sylar killed a sweet little girl) and use her ability to find Adam and kill him or team up with him? Though he could just use it to find Claire but she is far too popular to be killed.
I can't wait for "Villians" and I hope the strike ends soon!
