I feel violated in some strange, uneasy way. Anybody else?
I looked back on the forum "which heroes bite the dust" and only a few got it right. I am impressed. I was not one of them. Oh well.
All I know is that I like Nathan and I hope he is the uncertain one, since Maya was reversed and Nikkis fate seems pretty decided. Nathan has a better chance to survive than Nikki being blown up.......talk about a split personality.
The reason I think Nathan will live on into volume 3 (besides being a low-key, yet enigmatic character) is becasue he has Adams blood flowing thru his veins. Where was it written that it could only work once? I'm not saying that he'll be like Adam, Claire or Peter forever, but it may not be just a single serving.
The sickest thing was seeing Adam buried alive....I would hate to be that guy. But they set it up well for a grave robber next volume. If it is Sylar who gets him out, why on earth wouldn't he scalp him and steal his power on the spot? Then Sylar would be a little too much villain and the other heroes would definitely have to rally together again.
Now the big question is who actually shot him? I don't remember if it alluded to the fact that Angela was the one who called in the hit (bad mommy) or if she was just talking to the man behind the curtain.
And was it a future Peter (who it looked like) or Noah Bennett? The latter seems more likely because Noah tells his family that he made a deal to keep them alive and he didn't look too happy about whatever it was they asked him to do. But you know Mr. Bennett - if it means keeping his family safe - he's a cold, ruthless bastard. Plus they were in Odessa for gods sake - HRG could have been heading there right after we see him with Bob. In fact, Bob was probably watching the survelliance footage when Nathan laid out his big plan with Matt & Peter in the vault....giving him enough time to prepare HRG for the hit. I have a feeling that Angela is still calling all shots at the company, not Bob. The individuals who actually hold the power are never exposed as such. They are always safely hidden out of view.
