    This episode was great! It brought all of the plot together finally so we can actually see what season 2 is about. I don't get how a bunch of you haven't clued in....

    By now it's clear that the premise of season 2 is based on the virus and an alternate strain of the virus that, if everything happens like Peter sees in the future, would wipe out almost all of mankind.

    The paintings HRG saw was the vaccine that Bob asked Mohinder to give (which would be the first major cause besides Hiro of all the disaster to come), him shooting the guy (which he already did), HRG himself dying, Nicki doing something, and I forget the other. All of these paintings, like Isaac's previous paintings from season 1, lead to the upcoming disaster like a puzzle.

    The root cause of all this is really Hiro. Hiro has turned Kensei over into a man cut so deep that he will never heal from emotion. He is the one ravaging through season 2 killing off some of the heroes.

    The next puzzle piece is Bob and the vaccine. I believe Niki has been given the vaccine already, which is why she is now able to work with Mohinder and why she is in the painting. It is in her that the vaccine will mutate and spread.

    Next is Takeizo Kensei himself. He is now taking down the older heroes one by one. It is him that the whole symbol comes from - if you remember, this was his flag in the past. He has changed his name to Adam, and it is possible that he is even Peter's father.

    Peter was at Kensei/Adam's house before he teleported to the future using Hiro's power which he absorbed in season 1. In the future, Peter will likely encounter an insane takeizo kensei, but maybe not. I'm not sure what he will discover in the future.

    Next is West and Claire. Slowly, Claire is being turned against her father and is starting to stand up for herself. I think that a crucial moment will be when the time comes for HRG's death painting will take place. If he dies, West and Claire become the new bad guys. If he avoids it, we will see....

    Matt and Nathan are essential for bringing the Heroes together again. They will help draw the trail first to the 'Boogeyman' and then with the heroes united against the boogeyman, they will be able to, if they cooperate with each other, stop the virus from spreading and stop Kensei.

    From there..... I'm not quite sure....

     

    Anyways, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

    Good synopsis. I agree completely about kensei being the one gunning for the older generation heroes. Although I'm now more curious about Bennett and if he indeed has a power. When he got to the Russian's house, he did say to Ivan, "You know what I can do." It really wouldn't make much sense for Bennett to work for The Company and not have a power. And wow can he be ruthless.

    I'm not sure Niki is really Niki, or even Jessica. Is it possible Sylar failed in killing Candace and she is taking the shape of Jessica for the purposes of keeping an eye on Mohinder? Probably not, but something about Niki just didn't seem right.

    That look to the future with Peter felt like a bit of a throwback to Season One, but I still enjoyed it and it captured my attention. Gives us something to look forward to.

    I think that everyone originally associated with the company should die. That's the only way to be sure that it's gone for good. Too bad it includes Noah and the Haitian.

    Hiro is going to get stuck in ancient Japan. I thought the drunk was going to kill him. How come he doesn't just go back to before he kissed her and stop himself?

    Claire's going to get caught by her dad. Duh. And West is going to kill him, but Claire won't know until later. He might do it accidentally, but he still will do it.

    Peter doesn't remember who he is, but he remembers New York? He needs to quit playing around in Ireland and go find his past. He was one of the most powerful in the first season, next to Sylar.

    Nikki got cured by the company. But I have a feeling it will make things worse.

    I don't agree with the Kensi killer theory.  Unless he somehow acquires another power... as of right now, unless I've missed something he can only heal. 

    I do think that Niki has been given the virus by the company.  She looked like she was causing destruction in the painting, maybe she doesn't loose all her power.  I think that the evacuation has something to do with The Company and the virus. 

    West does seem really creepy, but I'm holding out judgment until we find out more about him.  I'm hoping for Claires sake that he doesn't end up being a total creep.  She did just leave all her friends, and move to a new school.  It would really suck for her first boyfriend with a power be a fake just getting close to her for The Company or whoever. 

    I am curious whether or not Mr. Benett has a power.  Why else would he be so involved in The Company?

    Wasn't Adam's last name Gordon on the file Bob had?

    Claire's mom is named Meredith Gordon, so I'm betting on Kensei being Claire's grandpa.  Totally would make sense since they have the same power.

    I agree with your theory on  Noah having a power. It just seems like, he is way too confident and doesn't seem to be afraid of anyone.   When he has the russian in the chair and he is about to hit him, you hear  a noise like somekind of power is about to happen, then his phone rings, and he stops.  Also I find it  a little odd that he seems to get from place to place fairly quickly in general. I know most of the time, shere is no real timeline established between some events and flashbacks, but that guy seems to be everywhere.

    omg claire and west have go something going!!!!!! ihope they stay together for awhile because their story is my favorite one, i wish that they would have more on it though!! west is kind of creepy but not really, i can tell he is genuine but he not working for the company, if he did then claires dd hould know and esides he just cant work for the company. i think that he was a good idea for the sory caus enow claire shows her dark side aof teenage hood. lol I LOVE WEST he is soo hot!!!

    Peter traveled to the future because he absorbed Hiro's power, that's why on the subway he wasn't frozen along with everyone else.  Of course with his memory loss he has no clue all of the powers he has or how to use them so how is he going to get back to the present.

    I am not sure I believe in the whole Kensi as the killer idea either.  For one thing the person who killed Hiro's dad was fairly short which of course Kensi really isn't.  I think Kensi will turn out to be Peter's dad, now living in Montreal hiding from the rest of the company.

    Also I believe the evacuation is going to have something to do with Maya's mystery tears of death.  With her and Alesandro running around with Sylar no good can happen.

    Kensei is Kaito's killer.  They may have just used a shorter double, like how they used a double for Sylar for a while.

    Think about it - all the killer did was run over Kaito and fall - no odd powers of death or mind-screw.

    It WAS Kensei, and it will be a mindscrew to find out that Hiro, by screwing up history, is directly responsible for the death of his dad.

    The "virus" will likely be no more than Sylar with the powers of Maya, who is toast.

    Should be an interesting season...
