I know that we all have our favorite characters but the 2 that we got mostly attached to last season is Peter and Hiro, and BOTH are the ones off in different directions.  I am so confused why do such a crazy thing like that.  With the whole memory loss thing if its the Haitian who took his memory hell never get it back.  I HOPE its not HAITIAN related that his memory is gone..I dont want Peter to realize AGAIN his powers, his quest, and start season 1 all over again.  I want him to get all crazy adn take out sylar.  Hiro needs to come back and take on his fathers killer.

Well looks like the impeding writers guild strike will totally change all our theories.  I just read that they are filiming an alternate ending to season 2 and if the strike takes place episode 11 will be it and they will use the alternate ending.  All the Heroes even the powerful ones (Peter, Sylar, Kensei) will be destroyed by the writers.  Ha watch them make the entire series a dream sequence of Micha after he read 9th Wonders written and drawn by a regular  non-powered non-Hero, non dead Issac Mendez.  Plus turns out that Sylar. Peter, Nathan are brothers working at the Gray and Sons watch shop.  Claire is actually the real biological daughter of HRG.  And Matt is actually a security gaurd for a parking lot.  Oh yeah forgot about Mohinder, he is a famous Bollywood actor who dreams of coming to Hollywood.  Nikki/Jessica works for Linderman as a cocktail waitress and DL is well who knows what else.

I agree with many of the posts...this season is moving very slowly.  Plots are splintered and more heroes are introduced that make the story move more slowly.  I hope this is all done to set up an extraordinary episode in "4 Months Earlier".   Barring a strike by the writer's guild, we can only hope for more revealiing episodes to come.  Let's don't count out Tim Kring yet.  He has us all hooked and I don't think he will let us down.

Let's think about this...Papa Petrelli's company symbol was the half-helix.  This is the same symbol of Kensei - the same symbol above the door in Montreal where Peter finds the note from Adam Monroe.  Many coincidences here but are these meant to provide us with fodder to debate or is Kensei truly Papa Petrelli - father to Nathan and Peter, grandfather to Claire, and nemesis of the Nakamura family.

In the showdown between Hiro and Kensei in 1671, does Hiro jump Kensei with him into the future to save the future of Japan with hopes of defeating with the help of other heroes in the future?

If Hiro has the ability to move in time, why can't he just jump back to prior to when he kisses Yaeko and prevent Kensei from seeing this?  Would this cause a rift where two realities would exist in the future?  Also, when Hiro finally does jump to the present time and finds his father dead, wouldn't he be able to jump back in time to the point where his father was about to be killed and take on the killer before he kills his father?

Also, we met Hiro's sister in season 1.  If powers run in families, what possible powers could she have and will we see her come into the picture?  And speaking of Hiro's family, we never knew what Hiro's father's power really was.  Depending on his power, he not really be dead (ie. ability to have two physical bodies at once)?

Claude, the invisible man from season 1, has chosen to be invisible.  Will we see him in this season and what might he offer in being able to see what is really going on within the company?

Peter and his memory loss,...f HRG knows that Adam Monroe is wanting to take down the company as well and that part of doing that is taking out the elder heroes generation, could it possible that he had the Haitian take Peter's memory and put him in the cargo container to get him away from the action so that Peter's mother can be taken out?

When Kaito, Hiro's father, saw his own photo with the half-helix drawn over it, he said he would be dead within 24 hours.  I know the story is spintered, but we have seen a few other photos with the half-helix drawn over them and the people are not dead yet.  What does this mean?

I know...more questions than theories here, but I'm anxious to hear others' theories on these questions.

Thinking about the virus. "Save the cheerleader save the world" could still work this season. If claire got infected with the virus. Since she can heal, her body would probably produce the antibodies needed to cure the virus..

    Just a thought...

I'm not sure I agree with Claire being able to heal from the virus and providing antibodies. The virus attacks their mutations, the very thing that makes Claire indestructable and able to heal. I do think that it is possible though, just not the most likely in my mind. I also think that it'd be really cool if she could heal others as well as herself, and I think that it's possible, but do heroes' powers progress like that? Apparently Matt's is going to though, according to his dad he's going to have the powers that his dad has. I really wish they'd make Claire more of a character though, and not just as West's new girlfriend. Her character is declining, which is a huge change from last season's "save the cheerleader, save the world".

I think Peter and his Irish girlfriend coming to the future is a little too much like season one when the bomb went off. I'm still going to give it a chance though, maybe something really good will happen there. I want him and Nathan to reunite though, really badly. As to Matt's power, someone said earlier how his father being the nightmare man wasn't all that worse than Syler, but in some ways it is. The nightmare man make you live your nightmares, so I wonder what it will take to get Molly out of there. Matt could get over it, I think because he has a minor version of his father's, since his power hasn't really progressed to that point yet, and through Matt Nathan was able to get out of his nightmare. Nathan's nightmare is really curious to me, and the way he sees a deformed version of himself through that mirror a few episodes back.

Hiro is really pissing me off. It's almost as if he deliberates which decision would be best for him to do, and then chooses the exact opposite. He's the reason Kensei is all cut deep and crap. I think that either Hiro will go back and fix the mistake, he'll get through to Kensei and make himself seem non-threatening, or Hiro will become Kensei in the way that he will become the legend. It's somewhat far-fetched, but then again, it is Heroes.

Monica's and Maya's idiocy is beyond me. Both are stupid enough to believe complete strangers just because there's a slight possibility that they've found someone who understands their powers. Nikki is confusing me. Someone said something about how it was Nikki who tried to hurt Bob, and Jessica who was with Mohinder to watch him. I think that's more likely than Nikki becoming a soldier for the Company, who is willing to let Mohinder complete tests on other Heroes like her.

I love Kristen Bell and I was the hugest Veronica Mars fan, but come on. There are too many new characters. They're bringing them in almost every episode now and just forgetting about the characters of last season. There's Monica, Elle, Maya and Alejandro, West, Kensei (although him I have no problem with adding since his storyline seems to actually have the potential to go somewhere), and any more that might be added. It seems like they're trying to squish the characters in each episode now because they have too many.

What I'm wondering about Matt is that there was some sort of preview at the end of Heroes and he says something about how this isn't his nightmare to his dad. Maybe he's beginning to develop powers like his father, since he has been told that telepathy is only the beginning.

Someone mentioned something about Nathan being an empath. I'm sorry to sound judgemental, but stupid. He can fly, and I think they'll leave it at that. If they don't I think that they'll just be grasping at straws because where can you really go with that? And speaking of flying, I think that West flying either has to do with lineage or the writers are running out of powers to give to their Heroes. And about Monica, what are the boundaries to her powers. She has muscle mimmick or something like that, but basically she can do anything she sees. Does that end to only what she sees an un-evolved human (non-Hero) doing, or does that mean she can mimmick another person's power. And if so, that would be similar to Peter's, except Peter's limits are that he can only copy powers of Heroes. And what ever happened to the speculation of some guy coming on the show that could replicate a power through looking into a Hero's DNA. It was all people could talk about at the beginning of this season, and now there's no mention of him. ???

And someone said something about how Peter was using the time/space continuum power for the first time, but in season one didn't he use it on the subway when he was with Mohinder. He was saying he had a power, but he couldn't control it so he couldn't show it to Mohinder.   (sorry, didn't mean to post separately, just forgot to add this to the other post)

Hmm, after some thought, what about this. Kensei is Lindermen and the ability to heal is actually the evolution of his healing power, much like matt's dad's evolution of his power.  Now, take the fact that Kyle Lucas was his protege and I think we might have the beginnings of a motive for the killer. Kyle may see the 12 as betraying Kensei and is seeking revenge, yet at the same time, pehaps protecting Kensei's family, Peter at least, through the guise of Adam. Eh? Anyone?

herofan - it was Kyle Lucas, who drewbdoo mentioned, that could supposedly take a sneak peak into another heroes molecules and steal their power. He hasn't been introduced or even mentioned in the slightest yet, but according to Tim Kring, there are some surprises in store. He also said that these first 6 episodes really focused on the questions, and from this point, volume 2 takes off like a rocket and focuses more on answering those questions. Hopefully the writers strike doesn't effect this negatively. Jack Coleman also said lastnight (in G4's post show) that Adam Monroe is a character that we all know.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there are some aliases being abused here......Linderman/Kensei.......Kensei/Mr.Petrelli............Mr. Petrelli/Adam Monroe.......are these all the same person? So if Linderman is Kensei, then Kyle Lucas still has the best motive for killing off the original 12 and also tells me that Linderman didn't die from DL's reach in.

And I still think that Nathan is more like Peter than we've been shown. The fact that they were originally written to be twins tells me that he is empathic as well, just hasn't acknowledged it yet.
