Can someone please explain why the season is ending?? It's supposed to last till May and it's shorted. Is this because of the damn writer's strike?? And I personally think Niki is gonna die. There really is no purpose for her and she's not a hero, just a pyscho.

I think Niki is a possibilty, because her story has gone absolutely nowhere this season, but I don't think Matt will be one of the ones to die. After all, he's just beginning to discover the full extent of his powers and there are a lot of places the writers could go with that next season. I'm not sure about Hiro, but I sincerely hope he survives. Hopefully he and Peter can have a little talk before attacking each other like complete idiots.

It will probably be people who aren't consequential and who aren't part of the real core cast.  People like West maybe, or Elle.  I sincerley doubt it would be anybody major like Hiro.

I think Maya should die she really has no point to me. Sylar probably kills her anyways. Do they count Mohinder as a hero? Cause if they do why don't they just kill him. He can not redeem himself in my eyes I don't even know what he could do to redeem himself he is a stupid idiot!!!!

Rosita this is just the end of this chapter it is done though until the writers strike is done I think since they have no more filmed but if there was no strike I assume they would be back in Janruary/February?

Thank you deedsy. That's what happened last season and they took a long break and came back in January. I think because of the writers, they decided to end it and not leave us hanging for a couple of months. The preview for next week said Finale, not Season Finale or Series Finale(oh GOD may that NEVER happen) so it kind of threw me for a loop. Now I can sleep tonight.

Good episode. Nothing spectacular. I was hoping for much better since the season is being cut short.

@deedsy and rosita - unfortunately I think that the season finale means that it's the real season finale. In otherwords it probably won't be starting up again until next September. And yes, it is due to the writers strike. Even if the strike ends soon, which I think it will, I don't think they would start the next episodes. Lucky for me, if the writers strike ends soon then at least LOST will be spared...

Anyways, yeah Peter is kinda being really dumb right now. He's acting like he still doesn't have his memory back. I mean, why would he trust Kensei? He doesn't have much reason to! I mean, sure he helped Peter realize that he was in a jail and wasn't going to be helped really, but it's kinda obvious that there's more to him than that, and what reason does he have to believe Kensei over Victoria Pratt?

If it were left at that, I wouldn't mind so much. I mean I could understand him continuing on with Kensei even still, and maybe he hopes that if Kensei IS lying then he can take him out. But then when Hiro comes he's ready to kill Hiro on a whim without even trying to figure out why everyone hates Kensei/Adam!!

Yeah, I'm not a Maya fan, either. There really was no point in bringing her on the show at all. She's even dumber than Mohinder and her story is boring. Crying black tears that kills everyone around? Honestly, who came up with that? And I don't think Mohinder counts as a hero since he has no powers. The whole theory of him having the power of astral projection is just speculation and really seems unlikely. I'm sure if he had that power they would have gone somewhere with it by now.

Blop, I think the main reason Peter is so willing to trust Adam is because of the fact that he saved Nathan with his own blood. That was a cheap but clever trick on Adam's part. It seems like Peter would know better that to trust Adam over Hiro, though! He knows from experience that all Hiro is concerned with is saving the world, so why would he doubt him now and trust Adam? It really doesn't make much sense.

Wow, some good stuff tonight!  Here is my take on things.

Obviously some kind of show down happens between Hiro and Peter.  If Peter is unaffected by Hiro's Power, and apparently that is the case, I don't see how Hiro stands much of a chance against Peter in a showdown.  That being said Hiro has much better control of the space/time continuum than Peter does, and even though Hiro and Peter don't realize it, they are on the same side.  (it's a nice touch of irony that Peter's quest to find out who releases the virus is actually a quest TO release it) Hiro could use his teleportation ability to give Peter a run for his money.  I think though that Hiro and Peter will "discuss" things and perhaps reveal what is really up with Adam.  The thing that troubles me is that in tonight's preview Adam was shown saying to Peter  "Let's go stop that virus".  That hints at Hiro's defeat and/or death.  I hope not, I love Hiro and I think, next to Peter, Hiro is the most signifigant character.

However, I think that tonight's preview was just creative editing to put us on edge, and that the quote was before Hiro appeared to Peter.  I wish Peter would use his telepathy on Adam, and straighten himself the f*%@ out!

Based on the preview,  Sylar gets a hold of some of the healing blood and probably gets his power(s) back.  I am betting that Mohinder is one of the characters that dies. Either that or Molly, as horrible as that sounds.  I don't think both of them die.   At this point I would rather it be Mohinder, not Molly.

I hope that Bob, Elle, and/or Adam die in the next episode.  If two heroes die at least one of those b#$@%^!* should get thier just desserts.  I would love to see Claire choking Elle with her bare hands as Claire ignore the pain of taking on Elle's voltage.

I don't have any idea what effect the press conference will have- how will they have time to resolve any of this in one episode?

May the writer's strike end and END QUICKLY!
