tawny - what Suresh has is more like remote viewing than astral projection, and just becasue they haven't focused on it, doesn't mean it's not there. I'm willing to bet that it's Nikki and Maya (who is drop dead gorgeous and her power is wicked, but the story line lacks a little) that are gone in the season finale. Nikki will die from the virus and Sylar will kill Maya......poor baby. And I take back all the bad things I said about Mohinder - he's allright with me.

Cadalyst, it's true that there's no proof it's not there, but there's really no proof that it IS there, either. Ever since leaving India and getting away from the boy he spoke to, Mohinder hasn't had anymore of those types of dreams (at least, none that we've seen). And the fact that Peter seemed to use the same power when speaking to Charles Deveaux doesn't prove that he aquired that power from Mohinder, because it could have been Charles causing that and not Peter. I'm not saying that I definitely think Mohinder is powerless, but I'm not convinced he isn't, either. Regardless, I wasn't trying to attack anyone who holds the theory that Mohinder has a power, I was just trying to make the point that I don't think he'll be one of the ones who dies, because even if he does have a power, it hasn't been completely confirmed on the show, so technically he wouldn't be considered a hero.

Hmm I'm getting the impression that Claire and Elle are related... That Bob is not REALLY Elle's dad... That Mohinder is going to die (not that he will stay dead)...that Hiro's sword is the only thing in the world that can actually damage Adam Monroe. Other than that, I wish Sylar would die already... he bores me.

AND another thing... Everywhere Peter goes, he hears people saying they want Adam Monroe dead... that he released a virus, that he killed Hiros dad... wouldn't a rational person begin to wonder what company they are keeping? It seems kind of like those dumb housewives that are married to some dude who killed his entire family years before and is living under an alias...brainwashed...

The only power I believe Mohinder has is a cure to his sisters virus. Paired with Claire's blood can cure many strands of the vaccine, but paired with Adams blood may prove to cure anything, that Claire's cannot.
As to who dies next, Maya is probably for certain thanks to Sylar, I pray its not Hiro, I doubt it would be Peter. Possibly it could be Adam, revealing a twist that even he is not the killer.
Nikki, yeah maybe, but I think Micah has been through enough, and maybe that doesnt happen. It might be Micah's cousin who dies.
It could very much also be Elle or West too. Other than that, it would be very unexpected.

Just a quick note on my take of things: 1. Adam will die, sooner or later he's more or less turned into the perverbial "bad guy" of the season and will have to go sooner or later...Peter's not such an idiot that he won't see the truth in front of him. 2. Parkman won't be dying, they've just started him down a dark path by forcing Victoria's name from Angela and I think there will be a plotline with him sort of falling from grace or something similar. 3. The company is and isn't "bad" - but then again, labeling things as good or bad in this show tends to flop back and forth quite a bit (ie. Noah Bennent - how many times have we hated then loved this character?)...as for the company, they may not be the ones who are trying to release the virus, but they ARE the ones who started experimenting with it in the first place...Bob has his secrets but I think if he does help Mohinder destroy all the strains its a slow step to redeeming SOME kind of credibility with the company. As for Elle...someone mentioned they thought she wasn't Bob's real daughter and I think that would be an interesting storyline to explore if it turns out true. 4. A little off topic for this episode but WHAT ARE ALL OF THE PARENTS' ABILITIES?! Aside from Bob, Parkman's father, Linderman, and tenatively Charles Devaux (someone tell me if I've missed any) we dont know what powers Kaito, Angela, or Peter/Nathan's father had that would have brought them all together. 5. Sylar/Maya - I for one am annoyed with Sylar at best and bored by Maya's storyline so far, but they have come a long way in developing it...and if you think about it it's a completely seperate storyline from the virus plot...in my opinion it's a necessary one however to bring Sylar back as a main villain next season once more (as we see in the preview a "villain rises" again - oh joy, its everyones favorite psycho killer) I hate the character personally because he's like a damn cockroach (a comparison made numerous times in season 1) and just won't ever die...a pity too - as far as the Maya plot went I liked her brother and was hoping he'd at least give regular Sylar a run for his money but oh well. Anyway those are just a few of the major plot issues I've been thinking about, I could go on but this is lengthy enough for now...please post any arguments or thoughts you have.

I think the virus is not the shanti virus but of Maya's capabilities just a guess....... :-)
sylar will use that power to kill 93% of the worlds population.......

I disagree, in the future Peter went to, it was the spread of a biological virus. Even if it was a supernatural power, the gov't would of went with Alien Invasion, or some apocalyptical reasoning, then saying "oh this ia a virus" IMO.
Bob I think is telling Mohinder what he wants to hear, and Bob probably has more power then just turning things to gold.
Angelina Petrelli's power begins with cellular regeneration. She is also aware of Parkman's powers from his father, so she has some experience/veterancy on her side.

Kind of a letdown, I had expected more. I thught we could squeeze a bit more information out of Victoria Pratt before Adam kills her, but alas, she was a useless cameo, just telling us what we already know.
Peter is starting to annoy me as well, but his aloofness is essential, i guess, to wherever the writers are going with their story about the Shanti virus. His face-off with Hiro will not be fatal, I think. Hiro is too much of a landmark character for the show to be dealth away with so hastily. And I do not think Adam will die, either. He will make a good villain for the next season, although if he is still on the hunt for Hiro there has to be a Hiro to hunt, right?
A little side note: When Hiro tells Peter that he wants Kenzei/Adam's blood for vengeance, it sounded like a Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride. I just thought it was pretty funny.
Okay, so in the next episode we will be seeing Claire discovering HRG's alive. This is a bad move, IMO, because I think it would have been better delayed to the next season. Claire went completely haywire on Elle, so I was expected a huge face-off and Claire going on a rampage with West instead of her family. I mean, it would totally make sense. I just don't see Claire's character going anywhere if she's always so tied to her father. They need to establish identities for themselves and be different so they can allow the show to grow.
My theories: The two heroes that will die are Nikki and Sylar (or Maya, if we consider her a hero). Suresh will not die, as I think it has been established that a non-power-endowed character needs to be central in the story, apart from HRG (who, at this point, has Claire's ability now, right?). Nikki's character is spent. What are they going to do next season, have Nikki spring up more alter egos? She doesn't work for future storylines. She was interesting when she still worked for Linderman, but now she's gone and she has nothing to fight for. Which brings me to how she might die. She will go after Monica, Micah's cousin and try to save her. She will not be saved by Suresh's cure. Sylar will die because like Nikki, his character has no room for growth. What is he going to do next season, steal more powers? They promised us new heroes and new stories this season. Instead, we got a rehashing of the old heroes, only with more unnecessary drama (like Peter's amnesia) and puppy love (Claire and West, Maya and Sylar). We need NEW heroes who play important roles in the bigger picture, but who we can become attached to.
By the way, ELLE is an awesome character and she she has so much room for improvement. She's very mysterious and extremely explosive, so I view her as a good addition to the show. Plus, Kristen Bell plays her so well.
Okay, NBC or Tim Kring, if you are reading, here's what needs to happen: EVERY EPISODE FROM HERE ON AFTER HAS TO BLOW OUR MINDS. The pace this season was not only painfully slow, but the move to spend so much time in feudal Japan lost you some avid fans. Whatever ending you guys come up with for next week is fine. That's how much I don't care at this point. But next season, what you need to do is strip Peter down. He was so annoying this season, mostly because his time in Ireland wasn't very helpful to the storyline. And the whole amnesia thing, so cliche. Remind us that the heroes are normal beings. Wasn't the show about ordinary people doing extraordinary things? At this point all I see is extraordinary people doing extraordinary things. It's becoming one-dimensional, fast.
Another thing: make Claire grow up. She can't be the cheerleader who needs to be saved forever. What about Nathan? He was pretty much nonexistent this season, save for his scenes with Matt and his dad. Nathan was a more interesting character when he was being a complete jerk and running for office. Here's what made season one great: these people were discovering their powers and yet still trying to go on with their lives. Nathan was running for office, Nikki was running from Linderman, Matt was in law enforcement...they all were unsure of themselves and struggling with their powers, and yet in the end they managed to pull together and become totally extraordinary.
