What is going to happen to Caitlin?  If Peter changes the future, then the timeline he abandoned her in will either disappear or be inaccessable to him!

Not a bad episode - 3 outta 5.  Should have been better being the 2nd to last of the season.  For me there were way too many comercial breaks, but that could be attributed to me wanting more Heroes uninterrupted!

Now if the show follows suit, i.e. Season 1 save New York from being atomized [and it happened] then this Season - save the World from being virus-zied [and it will]  then Season three might be save the Heroes from Sylar as he will have immense power to destroy everyone around him once he kills Maya [and he will], sans Peter, Claire and Adam.

Who croaks off?  Nikki - nowhere story line.  Maya is a given.  Too bad really, as a major or loved character should be killed doing such an heroic deed that all the world will love them forever [beside, just tap into Adam or Claire and bring them back ata a key point in future seasons.

Anyway I sure hope that the Finale will be 10 times better than last season.  Need to close a lot of story lines to have some satisfaction with the shortened season, but yet a "shocker" to keep us hanging until 08? 09? 010? season startup?!?!?!?!?!?

I didn't think the episode was that bad. Not as good as the last few, but all right. Although if it wasn't for Hiro, Peter and Adam, this episode would have been a stinker.

Here's my take on what's coming up, for what it's worth. The two heroes killed? I'm going with Maya and Adam. If the "villain that rises" is indeed Sylar, Maya is toast. Although, the villain that rises could also very well be Parkman, given how he is starting to learn how to better manipulate his powers. But I digress. I'm about 98 per cent certain the villain will be Sylar, and his "rebirth" will set up for Volume 3. However, I think if Sylar gets cured, he won't go back to what he was. I think he'll have to start all over again, and the first power he will acquire will be Maya's.

I can see Hiro and Peter starting to fight, but eventually Peter is going to see the real Adam and his M.O. for finding the virus. The reason Peter still trusts Adam is exactly as he told Victoria Pratt -- Adam helped him escape prison and saved his brother's life. However, Hiro will help convince Peter of Adam's evil intentions, even if he does it while holding a sword to his throat. They just have to keep Adam alive long enough to find out exactly where in the Primatech building the virus is being kept. Then the climatic fight of the season will begin -- Hiro and Peter (and probably Parkman if I saw the trailer right) vs. Adam. Thank's to Adam's admission at Pratt's house, Peter knows the vulnerability to cellurlar regeneration, and that is some form of decapitation. The fight will end with Hiro using Kensei's own sword to lop off his head. How poetic.

Then again, maybe I've put waaaaay too much thought into this and should really get a life.

I think this writer's strike has caused them to cut some corners. I think we are supposed to have forgot that it was Claire's car Maya, Alejandro and Sylar were driving around in. I've been waiting for Sylar to check the glove box and see some of Claire's ID and then go after her. She's his one big failed conquest from Season 1, and incidentally has the power to cure him. It could still happen as a Season 2 cliffhanger, but who knows.

To sum up, Season 2 will end with the world saved from the virus, but a new evil will be unleashed in the form of Sylar. Hopefully while walking the picket lines the writers are thinking up some cool new ideas for the next volume, something that moves a tad bit quicker than this season with characters and storylines that actually capture our interest.

I think that unfortunately the 2 people that will die is Maya and Monica...The writers did a commercial cliffhanger like this before in season 1 where they said..."Somebody will die..and they showed a list of the main characters" and who did it turn out to be somebody they didnt show...Eden the Persuading Girl! Since nobody wants the main people to die...THEY WON'T....and if they do......theyll probably die...and then come back to life....(example HRG).

As for the story....I think its pretty cool...Hiro about to showdown with Peter...Thaz Crazy...Peter might not be affected by Hiros Time freeze...but Hiro can surely disappear and come from behind....Peter has his other abilities..should be a cool fight....Sylar will definately be the VILLAIN that will rise....1) the commercial said so 2) He probably will grab the cure that Mohinder has right now which he is delivering to Niki.

As for Adam....I hope Hiro takes Peter and teleports him back to that same day in 1977 when Adam was locked up.  Decapitation is the way to kill Adam...and it will be Hiro who does the Slice!!!! or Dun Dun Dun Sylar??????

I hope this is not the finale of Heroes, because yesterday they said finale not season finale. I love Mohinder so I hope he does not die. Does anyone know how Sylar lost his powers and how he escaped from the island. I heard that they had to cut out like three episodes and condense episodes together because of the strike.

    Who knows.

It may be that a main character does die, because no one wants or expects it to happen.

Peter may die accidentily by all the confusion at Primatech. Again Nikki and Maya are very likely.

Alas, Katie Carr, I seem to be the only one concerned about the future of your character.  I'm pulling for you though!

Thank you Nikki. It seems I am not the only one that figures ignorance is not always bliss. Yes, Mohinder may not be the smartest crayon, but he should take everyone's word at face value.

This was brought to my attention by a dear friend regarding Monica's powers...Can she retain whatever she watches?

The problem with this show is they painted themselves into a corner with the Peter's powers.  Peter could have easily read the minds of both Adam and Victoria before he shot her to figure out what was going on.  He certaintly remembered how to use it when he found out where the virus was located.  He could also read Hiro's mind to see what was going on.  Hiro and Peter would actually talk for a second before attacking since they have all the time in the world to do so.  Peter would just not dismiss someone whom he knows struggled to save the world.  Once again, mind reading would be important.

Peter is too much of a superhero.  He would have absorbed all of Syler's powers so he has the ability to learn everything quickly (which would have negated the problems of learning his powers) and has the ability to command people with his voice.  He can basically do anything he wants.  Also, why he can now control his ability to go nuclear?  It makes no sense for it to be a problem once.

The whole sequence with Maya was beyond pointless.  For her to believe Sylar over her brother who has forgiven everything she has done is stupid.  The whole sequence is lame.  Why would the brother go completely unarmed to attack someone who knows to be a killer.  I mean, grab a bat or something.

There was also no reason to go after Claire.  You would think after thirty years of having Adam at their beck and call they would have quite the bloodbank built up.  Sigh.

I really like the idea of the show, but the writers seem to be struggling with what they have written.  Mohinder being completely retarded as well is also straining reality.  Instead of Mohinder going back and curing Sylar, why would he not call the company and have them take Sylar out?  Or better yeat, call Matt and have make Sylar go crazy and kill Maya and himself.  Too silly.

Hopefully, they will adress these issues if they are back for a 3rd season.
