    I've been thinking about the season finale a bit.

    I think it's pretty obvious nikki will die, and the other will probably be either sylar or maya. If sylar dies, then maya will be the new villian. If maya dies, sylar will be the villian once again. The latter is probably more likely. But the previews could have indicated maya killing sylar with her abilities.

    Nikki will die like people have said because she doesn't have anywhere to go really. Also, in the preview we see monica and micah hugging in fright and micah screams and tears as they see a house go up in flames, probably with nikki inside.

    I think one of the cliffhangers of the season will be the heroes going public. Finally! That by itself to me would be a great cliffhanger. How will the world react?

    I also think in the preview, when we see Peter telling Adam that they should go destroy the virus, Peter had had a talk with Hiro while time was stopped and Hiro explained everything to him. So now Peter will pretend to Adam like he doesn't know, and then will try to kill adam, but adam will throw the virus up in the air and Adam escapes while Peter stops the virus from hitting the ground and breaking so that it doesn't spread.

    I'm still disappointed with this season though. The writing has been very iffy in most of the episodes, and there have been a lot of holes, such as some of the ones suzerain mentioned.

    Holes:

    Why did Peter's skin flash the company tatoo as his Irish tatoo faded?

    If Niki dies, will we ever learn why Jessica had the company tatoo and Niki did not?

    Mental illness and multiple personality disorders don't just go away. What did they really do to Niki?

    Why didn't the company use Adam's blood they way they used Claire's?

    Why was Sylar in an isolated shack in Cental America instead of the Primatech basement? The only reason that makes sense is that they needed him to hook up with Maya, but the Company-Candace-Sylar storyline logic does not make sense.

    How many casual contact powers does Peter now have stored up in his list of abilities? He should have Ms. Pratt's now, too, if she had one. Does he have a limit (does he need a cache or more RAM)? 

    Why doesn't Peter use the Haitians power to suppress the abilities of everyone around him? Could he and Hero still talk offline? Sylar would have no hope against him. Adam could die.

    How can all these people travel and adventure all over the world without reporting to work occasionally to earn a regular income and support their habit? (esp. Bennet and the Haitian . . . do they fly economy class?)

    Why does Molly act so normal about living with two men she hardly new just because they saved her life? Aren't there grandparents or other relatives she should have closer ties to?

    Will we ever know what powers Victoria Pratt and Kaito Nakamura had?

    Will Claire ever graduate? how does she have time to study?

    It seems that communication and the telephone would be a great invention that would solve a lot of issues (but remove some of the main plot devices). Maybe Nathan should just talk to his wife. Does Peter remember Nathans cell number?

    Who is the congressman from New York if Nathan resigned?

    Why aren't the graphic novels graphic?

    Why is Bob spelled backwards still Bob? (sorry  . . .  just a reminder that this is supposed to be read with a tone of sarcasm  . . . it's just a show after all)

    Lol. All very good points. I would hope that since the same writers wrote the first season, all of these holes at one time were relevant to possible later arcs in the story.

    Due to the strike, the writers may have seen coming, tried cutting losses and didn't elaborate on some of these details.

    I have to admit SMM you had me cracking up to the floor with all the questions, but you are right in a lot of ways.  Their were shortcuts to Everything thats happened thus far in this season.  The craziest one is going after Claire for a cure espacially for this virus...ESPACIALLY when they had ADAM in their Basement ...I like teh bloodbank comment that a person wrote up top.  Was the company that retarded that they believed only Mohinders Blood was the cure...did they not have a fail safe plan if a outbreak happened....i dunno...and Peter ...all he has to do is JUST READ ADAMS mind...and their you go...Instant realization...I like the way he read Victoria Pratts mind for teh location taht was PERFECT USE OF POWER on peters part.  For Hiro...all he needs to do is just go back in time and Kill Adam off and their you go...no stupid virus outbreak....his father is still going to be alive..World at Peace....

    Ive realized that the more I think of shortcuts...the more its aggrevating....so Im just goign with the flow of the show....

    You could go as far as to say. It was Destiny that all the events happened. Hiro was supposed to go back in time in the first place to make Kensei a hero. So even though he went backin time, maybe he was already back in time in the first place? Maybe from the first episode the nuclear blast wouldn't happen, because it was destined that Hiro and Isaac would travel/paint, and prevent this from happening..

     

    Weird.

    OK, so here's what I think:

    1. In the preview, it said that 2 Heroes will fall. I HOPE it's not Claire, Hiro, Peter, West, Elle, HRG, Nathan, Micah or Matt. Other than that, they can take who they want. After what Mohinder did to HRG, he can die. Miah's boring and Sylar's probably going to kill her anyway. Nikki's been kind of boring this season but I really don't think Micah deserves to lose someone else. Monica might be killed by those people who took her. Peter and Hiro are probably going to kill Adam once Peter smartens up a bit. Anyway...

    2. I think Peter really needs to come to his senses. Last season he had a really good story line but this season, he's all about getting Caitlin back from the future and his amnezia. I mean, he's trusting Adam, even after what everyone else said. It's most likely because he saved his brother, but come on, Peter needs to think about some things before he goes fighting Hiro and marching into the depths of the factory with Adam.

    3. I think Elle and Claire are going to have a face-off. I can't wait for it! They are so much alike (Claire would have been Elle if HRG hadn't hid her) and I want to see what happens with them. I also don't think that Claire's going to move with her family. She's going to go off somewhere with her father and West, not leave. I can't see her leaving yet, not without a fight.

    4. I love Elle as a character. She's got the whole gray area thing and I think she's just been so manipulated her whole life, she doesn't know right from wrong. I also think she has so much room for developpement, especially concerning Claire and her father. It's my prediction that Elle will become friends with Claire and turn on her dad when she sees him for what he really is.

    5. My final thought is that after the writer's strike, the writers need to sit down and plan out good, exciting, fast-paced, thrilling, interesting plot lines for all the characters so that they have their own plots but they also collide. This season, while it has had it's good moments, was rather blah, especially the whole Myah plotline.

    PLEASE DON'T KILL OFF ANY GOOD CAHRACTERS!!!

    NBC has been aying that there are 2 episodes left.

    The episode that was shown on the 26th says that next week is the finale.

    Is anyone concerned that a show that had great viewership in season 1 and a smaller one in season 2 is boasting of a finale.  It's not called chapter season or series finale.

    With so many shows being cancelled so fast by networks I am concerned that another good show is going to bite the dust .

    Tim Kring has said they needed to end the season right away, not only due to the WGA strike, but due to the bad feedback they've been having from fans regarding season 2. You have to admit it has been pretty disappointing thus far. So I think the crew just needs time to recoup and gather their wits. They better come up with something jaw-dropping. I don't think NBC is going to cancel. Their ratings depend a great deal on their Monday night shows like Chuck and Heroes, so I don't think they can afford to cancel.

    Meh stupid writers strike, stupid channel 10 in au are bloody ending with episode 9........

    Anyway I do hope it is the eden stuation where none of the actual characters shown die.

    West and Nikki get my votes Nikki's character was only really interesting because of her split personality take that out and she is pointless. West because the actor lacks charisma and I dislike needless power reusage especially for silly little pscyh 101 easter eggs like him having the same power as her biological father.

    And seriously can we get all peters memories back cause this selfish one that puts Caitlins welfare as such a priority he is willing to work with a dude who he met in a prison over people who helped him save the world.

    God I hope they dont kill elle not only because I think Kristen Bell is awesome but because they have done some nice foreshadowing with the growth of her character that id be really interested to ind out where it goes.

    This is my real fear with the possibility of them not starting to shoot new episodes as soon as the strike is over is the potential of loosing actors and viewers, think about that all you folks who defend the strike that it could be directly responsible for this shows cancellation...
