The premiere as a whole was pretty spectacular, really fast paced action with lots of revelations.  Suresh's transformation was awesome, can't wait to see what happens there!  The villains escaping and torturing some people for fun really was a good choice as I understood why HRG and the others were saying they are actually evil.  The only thing that kind of turned me off was the cliffhanger at the end.  I really hope Mrs. Petrelli wasn't being literal to Sylar -- there's enough of those plot lines already.

So looks as if Sy is going to be the hero. Kind of nice if you ask me. If you did not get it then you have much to learn padawan. Keep watching and you will see.....

Also this all pertains to the good and evil side. Everyone has an extremely evil side as well as a overly good side. Great choice in showing both and how everyone has an equal but opposite side. If you are lost this will make A LOT more sense to your slow self when Claire's mom fights frosty, aka I half 2 billion personalities, aka every club chickenhead in the world (wow still lost? its Tracey Strauss, Nikki etc). They did an amazing job for the first episode but they also told a lot. Will be nice to see it all play out.

Do not steal my shit btw. I said it first. Its good vs evil, whoever was good or evil will show the other side. (evil = good now. or good = evil. or matched with equal of other side and defeated) DO NOT CLAIM THAT YOU FIGURED THIS OUT I DID... You read it then decided to act cool. Anyway enjoy all these great new episodes, we got Heroes, Survivor, Dexter, Californication all in the same week. Impressive stuff if you ask me, your boredom is over!!! REJOICE! Smoke some herb baby it makes everything more fun!

I guess I'll be the other voice. Oh my God, what a disapointment! The premier was so slow and convoluted, I checked out half way through. If NBC hopes to build an audience, then they need to do some back fill fast. Shame on Kring for forgetting that there was a writers strike and that (for some silly reason) NBC doesn't have the good sense to air reruns of this show like similar shows with ongoing plotlines(Supernatural, Smallville for ex). I guess I was expected to buy the DVD or watch that silly preshow.  This is why I checked out of Lost after season 2.  And when did Suresh suddenly start to lose it? He played the show's moral center and then suddenly gets a rewrite of personality (yes, even before he gets powers).

At this rate, the show will turn into Farscape and the only ones who will know what is going on are the 5 percent who've watched every episode, every webisode, and buy the comic book. But by that time, no one will care (unless of course, Kristen Bell is on).

sylar is peters brother for sure

    my reason

in the pre show they show a clip off angela feeding sylar a girl with the abilty to see peoples past by touching them this is so that he can see that angela really is his mother and that he can trust her and thats how he comes to work for the company if u recall he did allways say he felt his parents wherent his parents and that would explain the power simualritys of peter and sylar

I really liked this episode, especially when viewed in the context of what it may mean over the course of an entire season.

I watched all of seasons 1 and 2 leading up to tonight via DVD(I did not watch the show before), and while not everyone has the means/time to do this, I can see how these two episodes are very similar to the first two of season 3...so many questions, so many things that do not really make sense, so many different stories...but plenty to chew on.  My guess is that, like season one, once they have finished introducing the major plot lines, we will get more shows dedicated to one or two plots per show, creating a less disjointed feel of each episode.

I think that what will make this season great is what it does over the length of the series, not simply what happens in two of them...but so far I am very excited about this new season.

What if sylar and peter are twins or something?  Wouldn't that be crazy...  mama petrelli is definitely more evil than I imagined - I can't believe she let Elle go - that girl could help the company...  I think Elle's on her way to becoming good in any case - what a prick for a father - I'm glad Sylar got to him.  I kind of wonder if Sylar doesn't have a weak spot for Claire... and Mohinder and Maya... wow!  Hopefully Mohinder's funny looking back patch will be cured... :)
