   actually i was thinking wouldn't it make so much sense if Adam and Sylar are related... seriously why wouldn't the two most f-up people be related!!!

   I think she is an empath. some of the producers or writers or whatever said in an interview that we have seen Peter use her power and at some point in the first season someone refers to him as an empath. maybe she can sense people's emotions and use that to manipulate them.

   I go with empath. As we have seen, she has done many things to suggest this if u pay attention closely. First of all as already mentioned has the "talk" with her daughter in-law. She convinced her about Nathan's problem almost right away as well as got her to cut Nathan off from his sons. Next we saw (or I did at least) the "Brides of Kenses" (sorry cant spell- I mean Adam Monroe), and I am willing to bet that the Angela in that story was her and if that is true, see would have adams powers. Last I would like to point out that she not only knew that Matt was reading her mind at the police station but TOLD him back to stay out of hers. Also she told him that he may have to kill Peter if need be. Now I think that is weird that he just happens to be reading her mind as he is storming out of a room. Now there are some faults in my theories, but over all i think that it is not a bad area to start looking at.

   I have noticed three powers mentioned over and over again that Mrs. Petrelli might possess. Precognition, Persuasion, and Clairvoyance. I happen to agree with all of them. Let’s look at some of the clues, first of all Peter mentioned having these vivid dreams every time he closed his eyes and when he told Mama P about them she smiled and slapped him before walking away. The most important dream was the one about his brothers accident, if you pay attention it is Peter flying and not Nathan, as if Peter was experiencing it from his brothers point of view. When Nathan tries to tell his mom that he can’t go through with the plan of blowing up New York, she touches him by moving his hair and asks if he can be the one they need. And of course he seems to change his tune, same with Heidi, Nathan’s wife. After his accident we are forced to watch Mrs. Petrelli grope Heidi for about five minutes and she manages to convince her to leave her husband and the father of her two sons. Peter did the touchy-feely thing to Victoria Pratt when Adam Monroe and him found her and convinced her not to kill them. She had also mentioned to Claire, the bastard Petrelli, that although she might not have been there physically she was always watching over her. She also mentions that just because little Miss Claire can spit up bullets it didn’t mean she couldn’t be hurt. She was never in the room with Claire when she was shot, nor was the Haitian, so there must have been another way for her to find this information out. OK, so here comes the cool part, she not only knew when Matt was trying to read her mind, she was able to defend herself from a psychic attack from Matt’s daddy. Angela has been a member of the Company since the beginning, and as we have learned powers tend to grow, as they get older meaning Angela might be one of the most powerful minds on Earth. My money is on her having ability like Astral/Mental Projection, which would allow her to send her mind anywhere. It might have started off as vivid dreams, which was just her projecting her mind out perhaps as she got older she learned how to project it on to people. This is only a theory, but I think the clues all add up to her having a devastating mental power.
