In my opinion, this season started out in the mid 7s (7.4, 7.5). I am a HUGE die-hard Heroes fan but only because they raised the bar so high and kept it there for most of last season. This season started out with a clamouring DUD. Long drawn out exposition in very sharp contrast to the intense action of last seaon and HORRIBLE plot devices. Class, turn on your bunson burners so we can start our discussion on Darwin? Oh and there just happens to be a pole strong enough to swing on in the middle of a restaurant. And if those two Mexicans get accidentally seperated one more time!!! Last season (as I mentioned in a previous post) it seemed the writing staff had serious problems with how to logically handle the large number of powers and personalities they had to write for. This season the issue isn't keep the cart on the road, but how to reasonably get it started. We get the girl can do what she sees, we got that after the tomato. The wrestling move was ridiculous. We get the Mexican girl gets upset and kills people. First time was necessary, second time, not so much, third time (hmm... I think I'll break into a car window in the middle of the day in the middle of a town square in Mexico) was ridiculous. We love Heroes, we love the concept, we love the charector base. We would just like a LITTLE bit better writing to help us stay in love.
