Hiro - The Dragon?

So in the stories of Kensei, the dragon took Kensei in and taught him to fight and become the hero of legend... Then the dragon wanted Kensei's love in return, but rather than give her up, Kensei ripped out his heart and gave it to the dragon.

My theory - Hiro is "the dragon"

He turned Kensei into a hero...

Then attempted to steal his love.

Kensei said "you taught me that no blade could harm me, then cut me deeper than any blade ever could" at that point, Kensei became cold and heartless... like he symbolically removed his heart, so he could no longer feel... for his friend Hiro, or for his "love".

    Anyone else see that?

That was the analogy that I had thought about at first, but think of it maybe this way;  All that you have said was true but then Kensei saw/realized that Yaeko really loved Hiro - it was no different than when the two(Yaeko, Adam) first met, Kensei/Adam turned back to his scoundrel, black ways and became the Dragon himself as Hiro really is/became Kensei!

Then the Dragon has taken the heart of Kensei (Hiro) because he indeed is in love with the princess but realizes that he must go back to the future so that time will not rip.  However Kensei/Adam has already cut a swath of terror and tragedy and continues to destroy/keep the Heart of Kensei by killing his father and all that is Hero as he seems to truly be THE Villian.

    IDK

I was kinda thinking of that analogy like you guys were, but then again its hard to put together.

I agree with Nytmare.  I specifically signed up for this forum to post that notion.  It really matches better than 10thWOTW's version.

I tend to agree more with 10thwotw, but who really knows? The main reason I support this theory more than the other is because of Yeako telling Hiro that she will be the one to spread the legend of Takezo Kensei to the world.....which tells me that Hiro will be the kensei of the legends.
