The Original 12

   I thought it would be neat to round up what we know about the original 12, as their relationship seems to be the catalyst behind what is happening in Season 2. I'm going from memory here, so any help would be greatly appreciated. 1. Adam Monroe -- power of regeneration, de facto leader of the 12 and likely around 330 years old 2. Linderman -- power of healing, disciple of Adam's (second in command?), deceased 3. Mr. Petrelli -- unknown power, lawyer, father of Nathan and Peter, deceased (maybe?) 4. Angela Petrelli -- unknown power, mother of Nathan and Peter 5. Kaito Nakamura -- unknown power, father of Hiro, trained Hiro to fight Sylar, deceased 6. Charles DeVeaux -- unknown power (maybe remote viewing or dream manipulation?). Deceased 7. Bob -- power of alchemy or manipulating metals/matter, working for the Company 8. Maury Parkman -- power of mind reading and manipulation "The Nightmare Man." Was working for Adam to kill members of the original 12. That leaves four whom we don't know (was Ivan the Ukrainian one of the 12??), and if memory of that picture serves me well, two or three of those are women. There is also the possibility, however, remote, that Adam and Mr. Petrelli are the same person. Any thoughts or additons?

   if you look closely at the picture adam monroe/kensei is not there maybe he took it or they purposly didnt put him in it the women in the photo are probly dead going on what nathan said along with linderman devouxe and mr. petrelli and i now for a fact quote me if you want claire and elle are related or connected to claire's biological mom i forgot her name and possible to adam

   Their is an african American lady sitting.  Could she be Monica's (Dana Davis) mother who passed away in Hurricane Katrina or maybe Nichelle Nichols character.  I think its also stupid that Adam/Kensei is not in the picture.  Does that make him the 13th member then(if their is a 13th member) because I REALLY REALLY doubt he is Peter and Nathans father.  Kal15 you are right though. 

   12 Members......8 identified(somewhat)....4 to go!!!!!!!!!

   I thought maybe its possible that Adam Monroe is the leader of the group.  Along the idea of he is training 12 disciples to be his followers.

   adam is not nathan or peter's dad. sorry, but that idea is getting irritating. go to nbc.com and read the on line comic, specifically war buddies. mr petrelli didnt join the company until after linderman and linderman was adam's disciple. so the timeline alone doesnt match up. to add to that, mr petrelli calls linderman a freak for having powers and such so that leads me to believe he either didn't have powers or they had yet to manifest.

   The must not have manifested yet, cuz Peter and Nathan most likely need both parents to have abilities....

   venom, either way he can't be adam because linderman approached him about joining the company & in the show, bob says that adam convinced linderman to join, so it just doesnt fit

   I agree with what you are saying, I was agreeing that Mr. Petrelli probably hadn't manifested his powers yet when he told Linderman he was a freak. Rather than Mr. Petrelli not having any powers at all...

   I might be wrong here, but I heard once that Peter and Nathan's father could fly like Nathan. And what is this "unknown powers" thing. that is really annoying. if these older people have powers they should reveal themselves. That is good writing though, keeps us wondering. And Mrs. Petrelli has been around for so long, interfering in the heroes lives, what makes us think she has a power anyway?

    She seems to persuade people. Like when she always touches Nathan on the arm and tells him what to do, he always listens. Then in the last episode, she was talking to Nathan's wife and telling her that lie about Nathan. Angela kept on touching her arm and persuading her not to tell. Nahan's wife reluctantly agreed. Seems like she has some kind of power to influence with touch.
