Reply to PostAs we are to believe Hiro is meant to have a new love interest in the form of a Princess. I've recently been on the Kensei link from the NBC website and have read the story / legend of Kensei and how he fell in love with a princess and that he used to be a mercenary type. Having watched the 5 min clip from the 1st episode from series 2 it suggests to me that Kensei is living through a myth from his own hype. Could it be that Hiro takes over from the bogus kensei to restore his own and other peoples faith in the legend? Therefore the Kensei on the website that fights for honour and what is right could actually be Hiro himself. Just my guess but what does everyone else think?

I havent been to the link on NBC site but your theory sounds convincing to me, besides remember in season 1 when future hiro tells ando that he became a batojutsu master and that he studied som where that might be what have really happened... Idk, I just liked that theory.... Hiro being his own heroe :D

I haven't been to the link either, but I really like the conclusion you have drawn. Hiro and Peter are my favorite characters so I like the idea that Hiro is the mythic warrior of legend.

i actually agree with this whole plot. except i think there is more to it, kensei i believe is the one killing off the "9" and i also believe he is nathan and peters father, i mean the clues are there. he seems to have the same powers as Claire.

i guess that gives hiro a sense of power and valor....to be your own hero..that gives u too a sense of understanding who you are..its pretty awesome to believe that...
to my believe if he is peter's father than that makes him like really old....i dont know its kind of weird to believe he could survive all this time....

I think kensei is still alive because if he regenerates than he'll always regenerate cells so he'll never die. Him being Nathan and Peter' father is a really intereting theory.

Hmmm, that's a really good theory.... I thought that Kaito's killer was one of the 9, but as the 9 were of the previos generation, they should be getting on a bit (Kaito, Angela, Charles and Lindermann).
When the killer runs towards Kaito he's pretty sprightly, so if it is that it's Kensai, and that he's still fairly youthful due to an ability for regeneration that might explain it...
Hmm.. will have to sleep and dwell on it...

i think hiro is the dragon in the legends (havent read kensei link), jus depicted as a dragon, as dragons aint real... Because the dragon taught him how to fight, well hiro showed kensei that he had a power, connection there. Another is hiro loves the princess, and the dragon wanted the princess's heart(something like that), but kensei kills himself for the princess. Knowing that kensei isnt really in love with her, not as much as hiro anyway,and he can heal, maybe he felt sympothetic towards hiro, and faked his death so hiro can be with her. And the fact hiro is obsessed with keeping the legend accurate. Just a random thought

I have a theory of my own. While I was rewatching the first season I noticed in the last epsiode that the sword fixer has a striking resemblance to Kensie. This could be him I'm just saying
