Petreli's Dark secret

   In next week's episode promo Angela says the family has a dark secret - could that be that she had an affair with Adam Monroe and that he is both Nathan and/or Peter's biological Father? I'm thinking so - perhaps that is why Nathan and Peter's father killed himself?

   i think angela was banging hiro's dad.  i also think that "mr. petrelli" IS adam monroe.  that explains claire's powers being the same as her grandfather's, and it adds an extra level of irony to the hiro/kensei saga since hiro's dad took it to the next level by stealing another of kensei's women.

   Very good points in both of these posts. The theory of Nathan and Peter (or possibly just one of them, likely Nathan) as the love children of Angela and Adam makes sense, moreso than Adam being the same person as Mr. Petrelli. I do think it's more likely that just Nathan is the love child though. It would provide a genetic link between Claire and Adam, but could also explain why Linderman (whom we are told was Adam's disciple) and Angela were willing to sacrifice Peter and New York and portray Nathan as the hero. And I love the angle of Adam/Kensei being the twice-jilted lover, once by the father (Kaito/Angela) and the son (Hiro/Yakeo). That would certainly be enough to give someone motive to knock a few people off.

   I agree.  I think that Kensei is definitely Claire's grandfather or something.  I don't think that he's Nathan's father - I think he's Peter's - it would explain why he would give him special attention, right?  Or he could be Mr. Petrelli and be the father of both . . . . .  I guess we'll just have to wait until Monday to really know.  Until then, anyone's guess . . . . .   I also think it's kind of sad the Hiro was the reason that Kensei became mean and evil.

   maybe the dirty dozen (original 12) realised that their powers were hereditary and so they started all screwing around in all different combinations to see what other powers they could create by mixing their genes. then they went a bit too far and had too many kids to take care of and hence started the company which is really more of an orphanage and that's how HRG came to adopt claire ....ok i don't really think any of this is true but it'd be funny if it were ...they'd have to change the rating on the show.

   Never mind the changing the rating. I'm sure someone down in the San Fernando Valley is working on that script right now (or are adult-film writers on strike too?). Coming soon to a local adult vidoe store near you!

   If you had read the graphic novels, you would know for a fact that Adam is not Mr. Petrelli.  We see when Linderman and Mr. Petrelli 1st meet in Vietnam, and it's pretty obvious that he is not Adam Monroe.

   Do you think that nathan and Claire's mam getting together was a coincidence since they both have powers. or was angela and lindermans plan all along. like nikki and D.L. getteing together was linderman's plan. it would explain how angela knew all about her granddaughter
