I think Sylar's dad is Peter and Nathans dad... Sylar and Peter are step brothers.

i think petes dad shot nathan him and sylar could be family i never though of that but we know his wife was bangin kito so why not aruther bangin sylars dad but i think sylar said his dad was a watch maker

When Dr. Chandra Suresh met Sylar...they talked about Mr. Gray,(father of sylar) and Sylar told him, his father was a watchmaker and he should follow in his work(check Six Month Ago chapter)
So, I think that the theory of "Sylar Petrelli" or that Sylar could be brother of Peter is not true.
