The Scar

    What could give a scar on the face of man who can regenerate? Why does Peter have a scar on his face in all the trailors? Peter can explode, but years later he has a scar on his face. Seems unlikely. My 1st guess at who gave him that scar would be Hiro too, but i'm still pondering why he would have it.

    If I can recall correctly, I think Sylar gave him the scar. I seem to remember seeing that in one of the "flash-forward" episodes, but I'll have to watch Season 1 again to double check.

    sylar didnt give him the scar it was never revealed how peter could have gotten the scar, my theory though is at some point he got the power of illusion and put the scar there himself as a reminder. in season one he needs to be reminded about him being te bomb and wants to fix it, in this upcomming season there is probably a catastrophe that he feels he has to fix so its like a mental scar only he can make it a physical scar

    Im starting to find that Scar really retarded on Peter now.  He can Freakin Heal himself.   That scar should have never came to be.  Look at what the hell Claire is doing to herself.  She has tossed herself of buildings, walked through fires, stood in front of trains, etc.., and she doesn't even have a scratch on her.  Sylar just opened up her head wouldn't that have left a "SCAR".  Yeh I think so because of all the muscle, tendon, and skull he cut to get to her Brain.  But she healed nice and perfect.

    I think it was just a "Cool-Factor" they added to Peter and talking about it is just gonna plague the mind.

    Here a few ideas on how Peter gets the scar.

    One of the producers talked about a future episode where the eclipse happens again and it screws up everyones power.  During this time Peter could be attacked and he doesn't heal properly.

    Another idea is the Haitian is around and Peter is injured during this time until someone takes out the Haitian.

    A new villian will appear that has the ability to mess you up regardless of any sort of healing ability

    Whoa. Those are some good theories;

    I think the eclipse is the most likely, though.

    No the deal is that in the first season future hiro came back to say save the cheerleader save the world. There for meaning in the future Peter never met claire because sylar had gotten to her before he could. Which means he could never heal and sylar could that why he has the scar i dont think he can heal. Only present peter. Since they changed the past though he can now heal cause the altered what happend bt i think that scar remains. This is the best arguement i think is possible.

    There is a special sword that can injured/kill a healer/inmortal, and Hiro will get this sword to kill Kensei in the far future, which means Peter and Hiro will battle one another in the future episodes for an unknown reason.

    Don't forget, they saved the cheerleader and Peter did get Claire's power therefore, the future Peter you saw in season 1 no longer existed in the way we saw him.  They changed the past so future Peter would have acquired Claire's power.
