Its probably Bennet...but im hoping the good people at Heroes wont do tht type of thing cos the storyline would b too predictable....im hoping at the start of Villians they will introduce us to a villian who has sharpshooting abiliies like Bullseye from the Daredevil comics....u know a villian who choose to use his power for a life of crime and as an assasin...they could like mayb make him out 2 b the real killer of Ghandi or Abe Lincoln or something....no offence intended....

Well when Angela mentioned the "Pandora's Box," did anyone think that might just mean Peter? If Nathan dies, or at least appears dead to Peter, that would cause him to go ape**** on the people who did it. Pandora's Box might simply be Peter's limitless potential for destruction. The idea of it being Future Peter would be really cool, but it obviously won't be that because of Angela's involvement. It also isn't likely to be Adam, because they wouldn't end with him being trapped unless he was actually trapped at that point. He'll be back, I'm sure, but he didn't kill Nathan. Bennett would be the most logical guess, but I just couldn't see them doing that. I think in the finale, the places each character were at are exactly where they were. So Mohinder was in New York with Sylar and Elle. Bennet was in California with Claire and Bob. Hiro was in Japan with Ando. That means it was another person in Odessa with Peter, Nathan and Matt.

I'm sorry but it is so obvious that none of the people you have mentioned did it. Mrs Petrelli was on the phone to the shooter or the shooter's superior so it obviously is not Mr Bennett or anyone from The Company because Mrs Petrelli is not connected with them. I personally think it was some hitman that someone connected with Mrs Petrelli must have hired. Probably someone else from the group they were involved in that is not dead yet.

I agree with you Anonymous...it has to be somebody that hasnt been introduced yet. My other theory says that it could be Claude....but i dotn know if he was scheduled to return back to the show. The shooter walks like him as well.

It has to be somebody with the company. Could be HRG, but they showed the surveilance tape of Nathan's plan. So, they had time to put together a plan and silence Nathan.
It would be interesting if it was a FNathan or FPeter.
And I'm hoping Nathan is back, he's my fav.

guys, it was SO clear that BENNETT shot NATHAN. they SHOWED us the killer walking back after he shot Nathan. that was like OBVIIOUS guyssss.

Well actually i think That the shooter is someone from the company and he or she is a new character cause if they are killing nikki/Jessica they need a new character like her to keep the same storyline ... male or female they need a heroe with a similar profile.

It couln't be Future Nathan because if he went back in time to shoot himself, he would create a paradox. And HRG went back to the company in ep 11, so it could conceivably be him, imo it most likely is him.
