Reply to PostWhat's going on with his character reminds me of a badge I have, "Knowledge is Power, Power Corrupts, Study hard, be Evil." It is bad enough to know what everyone is thinking. That alone should corrupt the best of men. Many people are more messed up in their head then they let on. I would love for him to stay a good guy I just feel it may be hard. I consider myself a moral and just person. I can honestly say I know if I had Matt's powers I would most likely end up abusing them. The catch is that he tends to act before thinking things through fully. So although his intentions are good how he goes about achiving his goals may be evil.
Is Matt going to turn evil?

I would say it is morally gray. Matt I doubt will turn bad. He has a power to see other's true intentions. He has a good heart, and definetely doesn't want to be his father.

Hence the term "Power Currupts". Many people have "good hearts" and still turn evil with power - both in RL and on TV.
He's learning to control his powers, though. I dont think he just "hears" thoughts anymore, he can turn it off, so the grocery store incedent doesn't happena gain.
I personally doubt he'll turn evil, though.
Whats with all these "evil" threads, anyways? First Peter, now Matt.... I shoudl open a "Is Claire going to turn evil?" thread xD
