Niki has multiple personality disorder from the beatings her dad gave her.And the death of her sister,not her doppleganger or astral twin demon or anything.Just a mental disorder.

Nikki Is Not Crazyyy. I Think she was just to scared because of Jessica. I mean, i would be if everytime i looked in the mirror i saw someone evil. It's not the fact she's crazy coz she isn't, Its the fact that Jessica was a big part in her life which i think was holding her back from who she truly is or was. Correct me if i'm wrong but that how i see it

She is not crazy. One of the episodes, I don't remember which one, she is chasing after that fat guy with the diamonds and Matt through that building. When she is on the stairs Nikki and Jessica both come out and latter on when Matt handcuffs Jessica he says he heard two of them, probably meaning both Jessica and Nikki are living people.
