well at the moment powers seem to be passing from family members which simones dad had a power as you can see at the last episodes of the first series. but yet im not sure she had powers.

yh i thought she might regenerate like claire when isaac shot her becouse she was in the flash forward when peter explodes.also shes in the picture of all the heroes like at the top of the website.

I think its fairly safe to say she did have one or would have at least developed one if she hadnt been kacked.
The writers seem to be deliberatly vague concerning specifics but based of what we have seen.
1) If at least one of your Parents had/has a power then you will too.
Simone is the only person so far to break this rule and as we have established its more likely she simly hadnt manifested than that she never would have had she lived.
2) If only 1 of your Parents has a Power then you will likely have the same ability though likely a stronger version (which makes perfect sense). Alright Maury and Matt are the only definitive proof of that and only assuming Matts mum had no ability but the way things stand that seems fairly evident.
3) If both of you parents have a power then you will likely have a power that differs from both.
This one pans out in every example we know of Nathan and Peter, Claire, Mica.
What im more interested in is Hiro's sisters power potential because if she doesnt develop any abilites she either inst Kaito's daughter or your parent being and enhanced doesnt assure you will be which in turn would mean the Simone may never have had them either.

Maybe the powers are only definately passed down the male side of families
like peter, nathan, hiro etc
Perhaps they don't always manifest in females
like simone and hiro's sister

I think Simone did have a power though it wastn't very noticeable. In the beginning of the first season after Peter quite his job Simone said she saw confidence in him. So maybe she could have been able to feel emotions. Or maybe this is just me.

Well she could have a power and eventaully come back later if Hiro changes time or if peter has some strange bring back peopke to life power.
