What powers does Sylar have?

   When the second epoisde aired he hear of Sylar and how he left the house of the little girl with the bodys on the wall.

   So by then he has the power to send things through the air "telekintics" (sp). But he is making the FBI agent put the gun to her head and shoot herself Parker comes around the conner and shoots him and he falls/dies, then he floats up.

   He does not have the power to regenrate and the power to fly.....so where did he get it or how did he stop the bullets?

   Only in this season do we see that a second person has the ability to fly, without copying or absorbing their ability.

   By the end of second season he ahs the which powers/abilities?

   Hear, radiation, see/paint the future, minic/become someone else, make someone do something(the girl when he escaped from the paper company) , melt things with his hands, telekenithis(sp), and the abilty to learn faster languges?(waitress that Hiro fell in love with)...help me out here..lol

   Sylar does not have the ability to 'push' his thoughts on others.  Eden killed herself first.  He also didn't get Charlies ability to remember everything, because she died from her tumor in the past before he got to her to kill her.

   Sylar's ability is to steal other peoples abilities or "see how they work" as he says and he has killed and taken powers of people we havent seen in the series also if you see the first episode of series 2 you will find out there is another hero with the ability to fly so if we know 2 people could do it without stealing or abosrbing the ability who is to say more didnt already have the ability to fly and sylar has killed them behind the scenes

   why do ya'll think sylar can fly? he has never exibited that ability.

   he stops the bullets with TK, as far as how he survived the fall with peter and the stab from hiro, i think he also used TK to soften his fall, and TK to "fix" himself when he breaks, he has the ability to understand the way things work, and TK, therefore theoretically, he could perform surgery on himself with out and tools and without opening himself up.

   Is it not logical to suggest that if he can move objects through the poor of telekeniss, the ability to move matter with one's mind, then he can also propel himself through the air using the power of thought after some training?

   In response to Eric: we see that he kinda flies/floats AFTER Matt shoots him (when he must have used TK to stop the bullet) - he falls down, and then gets up and floats if I remember correctly.

   Also, just because Eden killed herself doesn't mean he can't take her powers. He doesn't have to kill the person to take their power as far as we know - he only has to cut their head open.

   I don't think it's fair to assume that you can propel yourself using TK. Maybe, but I don't think so.

   In response to blop: it is possible to fly while using TK. Sylar has levitated more than once in the show. He levitated to escape Dales superhuman hearing. Also if you read the heroes graphic novel online you can see Sylar use TK to fly from a car. Sylar has amazing comtrol over his TK. If he can slice heads open and lift other people with his mind then i don't see why he can't make himself fly.

   Yeah, so I guess you're right then. I wonder how fast he can fly - or how high up....

    

   Also, you forgot hearing 3rwolf. So the full list is now:

   Superhuman hearing, radiation, see/paint the future, make other people see anything you want them to, make someone do something (maybe), melt things with his hands (only metal?), TK (sp), superlarge photographic memory, freezing.

   I don't think Sylar obtained Edens 'influental mind control"......not because she simply died first - but because she blew her own brains all over the friggin walls. I'm pretty sure even Sylar would have a hard time piecing that puzzle back together again.

    It would be pretty hard to see how the brain works when it's all splattered on the wall.  He's like..." damn it Eden, I was going to use that."
