Reply to PostI think when he was stabbed by Hiro he wasn't able to stop the sword with TK, but maybe he was able to change the direction of the blade so that it didn't hit any vital organs.

i personnaly think that in the end of season 2 when they catch adam moneroe they wipe his memory and take him back into the past, which will explain why he told hiro that he oneday just arrived there and he didnt no were he was. i also think that the deal with cockcroaches is that its always related with sylar. either if hes near death or that hes killed someone else.

Recall one time when sylar is reading papa suresh's book, he had a revelation saying, "he's right, it's all in the brain"
this is probably refering to the genetic basis of these powers
how although the phenotype is expressed for powers, it is the brain that controls the power.
sylar also has the inate ability to "understand how things work" so piecing these two together, it can be said that his uses his ability to understand how the brain works in controlling these powers and learns it
further proof of this can be seen when he cuts peter and he regenerates and he says, i'd like to see how that works
almost like learning to fold a paper crane by observing how someone else folds it, that's how sylar learns others ability.
Sylar's ability includes: learning (own abilty), freezing things, telekinesis, memory, super hearing, turning matter liquid without heat, painting the future, radioactive
the power from candice and eden were unsuccessfully acquired, until otherwise proven
eden blow her own head off, so he couldn't take her ability, and sylar couldn't use candice's ability in the rain forest

Umm, that sounds nice.
I like the theory of Adam getting his memory wiped clean and getting sent to the past, Hazza... Maybe, future Hiro took him back once he finds him. Since he did find out it was him that killed his father. I'm having a hard time thinking of how that would work, but I think it can...

Um Sylar eats the brains or more specifically the portion of the brain that is linked to the powers in doing so he is able to aquire the victims abilites.
Its not a matter of until otherwise proven he didnt aquire Edens power as she blew he brain to pieces so he couldnt.
With Candice I believe that he will have her ability if/when he gets his abilities back I also think that will be sooner than we think I reckon he has a strain of the shanti virus rather one that can still be cured by Mohinders blood or the same or similar to Niki which I believe will be cured via Maya/alejandro not by the CR powers of Claire/Sams blood.

I thought that Sylar didn't get Eden's powers too, but I heard that Tim Kring confirmed that Sylar did recieve her power. I didn't read that myself, but someone posted it on this site.

Maybe he did then I dont know though I doubt it simply cause it robs the nobility from Edens act. Plus its just one of those abilities that would be extrodinarily bad for Sylar to possess.
