    When Peter is stuck in the crate in Ireland, he uses his powers to defeat the Irish mob. This is AFTER the Haitian takes his memories.

    It's not like he actually remembers which one of them was D.L. or anything like that. So whose to say whether or not he can use Micah or Molly's abilities.

    its not like he remembers who dl is or anything like that. When he lost his memory thanks to the haitian hecould still use his abilities even though he couldnt remember anyone. So why wouldnt he be able to exhibit molly or micahs abilities.

    i'm just thinking maybe he can't use the powers of micah or molly because he doesn't know they have powers? i mean, it's not like he ever saw them use them. and i know that applies to D.L. as well, but maybe he just got lucky and pulled the power from somewhere inside him, where it's stored. like theres something in his head that stores powers, and he can actively choose to use the ones he knows exists, and when he really needs one it can make itself useable, but the others he doesn't know about? or does that sound too crazy for a show with superhuman powers in it?

    peter and the haitian have met so many times...and in the episode in season two where the haitian erases the memories of peter, the haitian also nullifies peter's powers which makes peter very helpless...they've already met before that happen...so i was thinking why didnt peter use the haitian's nullifying power when the haitian cornered him...if he had used it, the haitian could not have erased peter's memories..

    how does exactly sylar get the ability of another power user? like he eats their brains or sumthing?? that's absurd.

    yeah it has something to do with eating the brain or some part of it. I agree with atd91, he couldve just pulled it out o him because he knew they exsisted. But how would he kow that? he never came in  contact with charlie.

    wasn't charlie the girl with the memory? no, peter didn't come into contact with her, so never gained her power. but sylar has it, because he killed her (as far as we know, hiro didn't save her life, because he was teleported back tot he future, and plus there is a graphic novel in which sylar uses the power) but yeh, as to sylar eating brains, i don't think he does, just studiesthe part where the knowledge of the power is kept, because other wise he could've had eden's. as it is, he does possess some of eden's power, but not enough to make it effective (attempts to use it on isaac mendez before killing him)

    I have a question for everyone. How does Sylar steal the powers from the brains? He doesnt have an ability like Peter's to absorb them so how does he get it from their brains. The writers need to explain that to us in season 3 I think. By the way, any word on season 3?

    he knows how things work, so just by examining the part of the brain in which the knowledge of how the power is used is stored, he gains the ability to adapt his own brain (he knows how that works too) so that the power becomes available to him
