Don’t read any further if you haven’t watched last night’s episode yet. Major Heroes spoiler alert!
Kristin from E! Online has the following to report regarding the character/actors that appeared to have died during the finale of “Generations.”
Ali Larter: According to Heroes insiders, Niki is not expected to return to the show. But her devilish alter ego Jessica? We’ll see her as soon as the show comes back to the airwaves (when the strike is through). At least, that’s the current plan, according to sources, who sayproducers had “done all they could do” with Niki.
David Anders: You can bet Hiro’s sworn nemesis will return. Insiders say the current plan is for Adam Monroe to be back to torment our favorite squinty teleporter, i.e. the “carp.”
Adrian Pasdar: The production and writing staff is somewhat split as to whether Nathan should return to the show when the show returns. Really, though?!? Heroes without the brothers would be like Prison Break or Brothers & Sisters without the brothers: i.e., a waste of time! Surely Claire’s blood can save her own father, right?!
What do you think? Who should come back and who should remain deceased? Let us know right now on the Heroes forum!

Will Monica Dawson be one of the Heroes rumored to die on tonight’s winter finale?
Dana Davis doesn’t hope so. The actress has had a blast portraying a character that actually has fun with her powers, as opposed to her fellow Heroes that come across far more burdened by theirs.
“In the beginning, the producer sat down with me and they said, ‘Dana, most of the heroes on the show are burdened by their powers and we want to bring back the excitement, like with Hiro, in the beginning, who was so excited about his powers.’
They wanted to bring that back a little bit with Monica, which is refreshing and fun. I’m really excited to play somebody who is excited about their power,” Davis told MediaBlvd Magazine in an interview.
So, what does the future hold for this woman with the really cool, photographic memory?
“Monica gets pretty tough. As far as whether she will be with any other heroes in some cool fights, we can only hope. I really can’t say right now. But, I can say that you will see a lot of her fighting. It gets pretty exciting…
Monica is going to go to a place that no hero has gone before. It’s going to be really fun to see her story unfold because it’s something that’s not been done on Heroes yet. It’ll be very fun. We’re sworn to secrecy. Sometimes [Heroes spoilers] get out, but we try to keep as much secret as possible,” she said.

Zachary Quinto recently sat down with the Los Angeles Times. Here are a couple highlights from the interview:
What happened on the Heroes set when the strike came on?
As it became clearer and clearer that that was going to devolve and there was going to be a strike, the tone of things on set just sort of shifted. There was no formal conversation — we have screenings every Friday on our lunch break of the episode about to air. By that time the strike had already happened…
All of a sudden the writers weren’t there. An unexpected, unwanted vacation for everybody.
It’s the crew of our show I think about the most — the people who work the hardest, in terms of their physical contribution and the hours they spend at work. It’s so unfortunate how far-reaching the ramifications of this are… The unfortunate need for the sacrifice of individuals to benefit for the group is uncomfortable and painful. The crew doesn’t benefit from the outcome of the negotiations. That’s a difficult thing for me.
Compounding it is I ended on Heroes on Friday and started on Star Trek on Monday. To be working through this and to be required to work is also really strange. It’s a combination of feeling really fortunate and oddly awkward and guilty and weird.
I never did see an account of your Star Trek audition. How was the first meeting?
I had an audition… in April of 2007, and then I went away: I left town two days later for two months. I was in Europe and New York and all over the place. I imagine had I been in Los Angeles it would have been more nerve-racking. But as it was, I was traveling and having this life experience that allowed me to detach from the structure of Los Angeles.
Then, I got back in June on my birthday, and when I was in New York my manager called and said they’re moving forward.

As always, we appreciate all the submissions to this week’s Heroes Caption Contest. For this edition, a majority focused on Zachary Quinto’s immediate future: playing Spock in the upcoming Star Trek movie.
But the winning response came from “Giri,” who combined the writers’ strike and Sylar topless.
Take a look at the most humorous entry below the picture and remember to come back and play every week. The next winner might be… YOU!
Sylar: They told me to take my shirt off to compensate for the writer’s strike. Maya: QUE?

In the December/January issue of Seventeen Magazine, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere sounds off on her personal fashion choices.
Here are snippets of the article:
Her style: “My style has evolved and become more sophisticated. It’s grown with my personality.”
Her fashion obsession: “Shoes are definitely my guilty pleasure. I have these Givenchy shoes that are a deep plum patent leather. They are stunning. And I love my Louis Vuittons.”
Her cheaper thrill: “Hale bob, Shoe-wise, they’re great, and they’re not an arm and a leg. And you know what else? Forever 21. You can find great things there–they’re all over the place. I bought a top there for $4.”

Netflix has sealed a deal with NBC Universal to begin offering online episodes of Heroes. The episodes will appear on Netflix’s website the day after they air on NBC.
Under the agreement, Netflix subscribers will also be able to view past episodes of other NBC series, including 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights and The Office, via rented DVD or on Netflix’s website.
According to Netflix content acquisition VP Robert Kyncl, the deal is part of a larger effort to start offering more TV content on its website. Currently, about 20% of the company’s traditional DVD rental business consists of TV properties; Netflix is looking to assign the same percentage in the digital space.
“Netflix’s aggregate content on DVD right now is 90,000 individual titles,” Kyncl said. “My mandate is to continue increasing the availability of the same content in digital. We currently have 5,000 titles available. Our goal is to increase that in order to offer our subscribers multiple delivery options.”
For NBC, the Netflix deal is the third prong in its off-network Heroes strategy, which gives the online movie rental service the exclusive subscription video-on-demand rights to the show.
“This deal reflects the changing landscape of the entertainment marketplace and our objective of finding new buyers that complement our traditional customers,” said NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution exec VP-general sales manager Frances Manfredi.

We’re just a few days away from the Heroes winter finale. As we hope and pray that the writers’ strike comes to an end and Monday’s show isn’t the season finale, here’s NBC’s official preview for it:
Deep below Primatech Paper in Odessa, TX, Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) reunion with Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) turns violent when the brothers, Matt (Greg Grunberg) and Hiro (Masi Oka) all clash thanks to Adam (David Anders) and his pursuit of the deadly Shanti Virus.
After watching his heroic cousin captured by a street gang, Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) turns to the one person who can help him save Monica (Dana Davis): his mom (Ali Larter).
Meanwhile, Maya (Dania Ramirez) tragically learns how much of a monster Sylar (Zachary Quinto) really is during his kidnapping of Molly (Adair Tishler) and Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Also, Elle (Kristen Bell) decides to play hero to get back into her father’s (Stephen Tobolowsky) good graces.

Two Heroes will fall. One villain will rise.
We all heard the voiceover and saw the preview for this Monday’s Heroes episode, right? But just which characters will perish? And will they really be gone forever? This is Heroes, after all…
Kristin from E! Online, wrote the following spoilers/teasers regarding who we can expect to say goodbye to next week:
We’ll call the first death Final, the second death Uncertain and the third death Reversed (thanks to Claire’s miracle juice - yay!). (And no, they don’t go down in that order.)
Although you may be shocked by all of these deaths - because they are all series regulars and very pretty people! - you probably won’t cry over Final or Reversed (that’s just my hunch). But if Uncertain turns out to stick, well, let’s just say the Heroes producers best be stocking up on some hazmat suits for the s–t storm that’s about to erupt! The fans will not be happy.
(In other winter-finale news, Mama Petrelli just might be the worst mother ever in the history of the planet, while Noah Bennet has my vote for Father of the Year, while Sylar is the Comeback Kid.)
Who do you think will die? Let us know right now in our Heroes forum!
