Masi Oka: Hayden is My Hook-Up for Advice

When it comes to matters of the heart or the paparazzi, Masi Oka doesn't need to look far for advice.

His Heroes co-star may only be 18, but Hayden Panettiere has been through it all. Despite her break-up with Laguna Beach alum Stephen Colletti, Hayden is a reliable source for all the words of wisdom Oka requires.

Milo, Masi and Hayden "[Stephen] was a good guy," Oka, 32, told People magazine during the Emmy celebrations over the weekend. "But I'm really in no place to give her advice because I'm looking for love myself and I haven't had much luck there. I'm single and available.

Masi went on to say that the actress who portrays Claire Bennet is the one that helps him out in a pinch.

"She's the one that gives advice," Oka said. "I remember one day we went to this premiere and I didn't realize it was a press event and they were taking pictures and Hayden came up to me and said 'Masi, you have a hickey! We have to cover you up!' And I was like, 'Whoa. I didn't know that.' Hayden always takes care of all of us."

Oka, Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia and the rest of the Heroes cast partied together all weekend - starting with the Emmy Nominees Reception Friday and on through Sunday night's Emmys post-parties - with Oka and Panettiere singing and dancing to Duran Duran at the Walt Disney Concert Hall following the ceremony.

We think we know who led.

Heroes Writer Focuses on Pushing Daisies

bilde.jpgBryan Fuller has been hard at work for months.

The Heroes writer is also the mind behind a new ABC show, Pushing Daisies.

And he recently admitted that the success of the former helped him land a deal for the latter.

The combination of dark and light, death and hope, that is so prominent on Heroes is also the basis for Daisies. It's about a pie maker who has the power to raise the dead with a single touch.
At one point, Fuller was simultaneously writing the 17th episode of Heroes and penning the first one for his new show.

"A guy can touch dead people once and bring them back to life," said Fuller of Pushing Daisies. "And if he touches them again, they go back to being dead. Problem is, he touches a dead girl, falls in love with her and can never touch her again."

Sounds worth a viewing or two to us.

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia Share a Dance

The bad news from last night's Emmy Awards: Masi Oka did not take home the trophy for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.

The good news? Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia looked awfully cute together on the dance floor of the Govenor's Ball after the ceremony.

Take a look:

Milo Ventimiglia Opens Up About Alexis Bledel

Milo Ventimiglia is a private individual.

Good luck getting the Heroes star to talk about his love love. But in a recent interview with Men's Fitness, Ventimiglia did comment on his break-up with Gilmore Girls' actress Alexis Bledel:

"There's an emotion that goes with that, and it's reflected in you physically," he said. "I didn't really keep myself together as I should have. Once I got through that hardship and emotional hurt, I started wanting to take care of my body more and present myself as a better person."

It definitely worked, as co-stars and fans can attest to. Especially once they take a look at the picture below, courtesy of this magazine's photo shoot:

Ali Larter and Zachary Quinto at the Emmy Awards

A few minutes before the start of the Emmy Awards, a pair of Heroes actors took time for the cameras:

Ali Larter waves to her fans. Hey, don't we know that guy over her shoulder from somewhere?

Quinto at the Emmys

Zachary Quinto looks a tad less scary here than he does as Sylar.

Heroes Spoilers: Details on Episodes Three, Four

heroes2.jpg As we said previously regarding these Heroes spoilers, courtesy of The National Enquirer, keep the shady source in mind as you read through them.

But go right ahead and do so now if you wish to have insight into episodes three and four of season two:

Episode 3: "Kindred"
- Sylar is still alive. He kills Candice Wilmer, the woman who had rescued him. But then something weird happens: he loses his powers.
- Peter is forced to help the criminals holding him hostage with a robbery; and saves the gangsters by levitating an armored car and hurling it at the guards. He also discovers he has the power of shooting electricity from his hands. Cool stuff.
- Mohinder saves the dying Haitian by injecting him with his blood.
- Niki (Ali Larter) joins the Company.

Episode 4: "The Kindness of Strangers"
- Monica (Dana Davis) has the power to replicate any physical motion. She foils a stick-up man by snatching his gun and flooring him with a double backflip she once saw during a wrestling show.

- American students Derek and Maya (Dania Ramirez) find Sylar lying face down in the Mexican desert. They rescue him. He tells them his name is Gabriel Gray and seems willing to help... but then secretly kills Derek at a gas station.

- Molly's boogeyman turns out to be the mysterious Bob from the Company. Moreover, he's actually Matt's father.

Heroes Cast Comes Out for Pre- Emmy Party

Noah Gray-Cabey Shops for the Emmys

Just ShoppingMasi Oka may win an Emmy Award Sunday.

His co-star, meanwhile, is just focused on what cool toys to bring to the ceremony.

USA Today reports that Noah-Gray Cabey is wearing a tuxedo for the occasional... as well as a spy watch and secret-agent mission gloves that could be accessorized by James Bond.

Red-carpet preparation for the actor involved two-stop shopping: first, a fitting at Tuxedo Station; then a search for spy gear at a nearby Toys R Us, as shown here.

At the tux shop, the Heroes star is more MacGyver than Astaire, showing how a walking stick could be used to devastating effect on the red carpet.

"I'd be like poking people. Or it would be like up my sleeve and whoosh," he said, shooting the cane out from his sleeve.

Noah's novel footwear idea might be fashion fast-forward: Wear Heelys, shoes with wheels, to the event. He won't need those, however, to make an impression with an ensemble that features a pinstriped tux, silver vest, striped tie and two-toned shoes.

"He cleans up very nice, huh?" said his mother, Whitney Gray, admiring his transformation from T-shirt and jeans to formalwear.

At Toys R Us, Noah and his mother looks for spy gadgets, which they have made part of their regimen for award shows from the Golden Globes to the People's Choice.

Noah combs an aisle of spy paraphernalia, assessing each item with his mother, who now seems more co-conspirator than Emmy date. He offers one wrist device, but she's not sure: "I don't know if that will match my dress."

A secret voice recorder is a must-have, as is a spy watch. The one problem: Whitney's Emmy-night purse won't hold everything Noah wants to bring. When shopping, "we always take the handbag to see how much we can fit in," she says.

Here, Noah favors substance over style: "Can we bring a bigger one?"

Heroes Spoilers: Intriciate Episode Plot Details

Take the following Heroes spoilers with a grain of salt as big as Nathan's ego.

How come? Because they come from The National Enquirer, not exactly a bastion of reliable reporting. Nevertheless, a couple tidbits from the first two episodes of season two - as outlined below - do match up with previous information we've heard about the show...

289205052_6e39fca71b_m.jpgEpisode 1: "Four months later"
- Mohinder is approached by an unusual man named Bpb, who offers him a job with a mysterious company. The good doctor soon realizes this company is his enemy, however.

- Claire nearly gets run over by her new boyfriend West, played by Nick D'Agosto. She later learns he can fly.

- She also has a run in with head cheerleader Debbie, does a backflip... and breaks a bone. Therefore, she's forced to use her powers of healing.

Episode 2: "Lizards"
- Peter was captured by Irish criminals in the seasons premiere and now has amnesia. He has to re-discover his powers. He also has a love interest named Caitlin the daughter of Ricky, the leader of a criminal gang. (Who we assume is played by Dominic Keating.)

- Hiro's father is killed after being thrown off a rooftop by a stranger, one who also goes off the roof with him... but disappears before he/she hits the ground.

- Hiro also falls in love with a swordsmith's daughter during his time in feudal Japan, but steps aside so his hero, Takeo Kenzei, can fufill his destiny.
