Heroes Producers Shed Light on New Volume

Two Heroes producers, Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski, recently answered a handful of questions from fans.

Among the storylines and spoilers they revealed, the producers said...

  • Micah will return;
  • Daphne's fate will be focused on next week;
  • Regarding Peter's new, different, confusing abilities: "He’s still trying to get a handle on his powers. Just like during the first season, it’s gonna take him some time to get a handle on these powers."

An Awkward Threesome

James Kyson Lee: From Sidekick to Superhero!

With Ando having acquired an ability at the conclusion of volume three, and with the character playing a prominent role in volume for of Heroes, BuddyTV asked James Kyson Lee for his take on Ando's shift from sidekick to a superhero?

Yeah, it's been an interesting arc, and I think it kind of started during “Villains” when he and Hiro sort of have an equal stake in what's going on, and I think slowly he sort of grows from sidekick to possible becoming partners. And then getting a power, which kind of shifted his skill. In that sense, since my buddy doesn't have his power, I sort of have to fill in.

I've got to try to take charge of whatever mission there is. So I think it's going to be an interesting season, and I think Ando's power is going to be explored a little more. Right now you've learned that he's Super Charger, but if you remember way back in the beginning of “Villains,” there's a future.

When my buddy went to the future, he saw my power used in a very different way. And we don't know if that's actually going to play out, but I think there's more to Ando's power than just the super charger.

Heroes Round Table: Building 26

Welcome to our 24th Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and storyline, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Tracey's fate, HRG's storyline and Daphne. Let's get to the Q&A...

Can Hiro please stop being sent to other countries?
A. Hiro: Seriously. I love Hiro/Ando interaction, but can someone explain to me the point of last night's India trip being such a focus of the show?

Milover: I wanna remain positive, but I truly don't get it. This entire story line was created so Hiro - at the conclusion of it - could realize that he doesn't need an ability in order to be a hero? Did viewers need to be so bored in order for such a lesson to be learned?

Timex: Hey, I'm just happy Hiro's trip took place in this century this time. And that it's over after just one episode. It beats his never-ending adventure in Feudal Japan during volume two.

RT

Is Nathan being naive?
Timex: Yes. Did he really expect to round up his former allies without any blood being shed? Come on, Senator, you're smarter than that.

A. Hiro: He's just being idealistic. Nathan is actually being written well this volume, as he doesn't exhibit pure evil by any means. He sincerely believes that rounding up the Heroes is the best course of action and, yes, he believes this can be done relatively peacefully.

Milover: It does seem short-sighted on Nathan's part that he believed he could go through with this exercise and not arouse the suspicion of Homeland Security. But at least he got a cute agent looking into him!

Heroes Spoilers: Daphne's Death & More!

Last night's episode of Heroes introduced viewers to a new friend for Claire - and, sadly, yet another drawn out, unnecessary trip around the world for Hiro.

Still, we maintain hope for this volume. Don't give up yet, readers!

Thanks to E! Online, here's a look ahead at next week's episode, which will include a special interrogation and news about a not-so-dead character...

  • Forget water boarding. Next week, we'll see what sort of interrogation techniques Matt Parkman possesses when he works his magic to pull secrets out of H.R.G.'s head;
  • Is Daphne really dead? We're about to find out;
  • First, New York City almost blew up; then Costa Verde was meant to explode in the future; Now, Washington D.C. is in danger. On Monday, we'll learn more about why and how our nation's capitol is in trouble.

Dead Daphne?!?

Relax, Parkman. Rumors point to Daphne actually being alive (this is Heroes, remember?).

Parkman Caption

"Mohinder, you bastard! You're even boring the other characters to sleep now!"

On next week's all-new episode of Heroes, Ando and Hiro head to India.

Let's hope this goes better than Hiro's ill-fated (seemingly never-ending) trip to feudal Japan.

Heroes Spoilers: The Future of Tracy

The beautiful face of Ali Larter has not been prominently displayed much on Heroes over the last few months.

Many readers have even questioned why she was brought back as the character of Tracy in the first place.

TV Guide Senior Editor Tim Molloy responded to an inquiry about the future of this actress this week, stating that we won't see more of Larter - but we may see her star in better scenes.

Tracy proves to be "incredibly fearless and resourceful" during the Fugitives volume, a show rep told Molloy, and "ultimately proves to be a strong, enduring presence in the Heroes universe."
