Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia: Out and About in London

Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia were recently spotted out in London after dinner together at Nobu. It’s nice to see the pretend brothers getting along in real life, isn’t it?

Adrian and Milo

Ventimiglia also recently told People that he’s psyched about the upcoming movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

“May 22, I will be there,” the Heroes star simply said.

Adrian Pasdar Teases Season Three of Heroes

Pasdar, Adrian Might this be a Heroes spoiler that Nathan lives through his gun shot?

The actor who portrays the former politician recently teased season three to Entertainment Weekly.

“Season 3 is going to be very interesting to see what happens and how they’re able to take the lessons that we’ve learned, and really tell the story that they want to tell without losing an audience,” said Adrian Pasdar. “Because the goal at the end of the day is to have as many people watch the show as you can.”

Reconciling what writers and fans want has proven to be challenging, Pasdar admits, especially because Heroes is “complex” and has “many layers.”

“It’s not stupid TV, it’s not a reality program,” Pasdar said. “It actually is complex. There’s many layers to Heroes. [Creator Tim Kring is] not averse to risk-taking, as he has proven in the episodes of season 2.”

Let’s all just pray the writers’ strike is soon resolved and we’ll get a chance to see if Pasdar is correct or not.

Adrian Pasdar Previews Heroes Episode, Story Lines

As we sit and pray that the writers’ strike comes to an end soon, we wanted to share the following interview with Adrian Pasdar.

The Heroes star spoke with TV Guide about tonight’s big episode, along with how the season has shaped up so far…

071112int1adrian.jpg TVGuide.com: This week, we’re going back four months ago to see what happened after the gang defeated Sylar. Can you tell us how Nathan and Peter survived?
Adrian Pasdar: We filmed this stuff a month or six weeks ago, and we spent a lot of time about 30 feet above the cement floor of Stage 7. It’ll knock your socks off — in fact, it did knock one of my shoes off, during the stunt. It picks up right where the finale left off, and there’s a good deal of explanation as to what’s been happening, why I see that face in the mirror periodically.

TVGuide.com: Nathan has gone through a major change — last season he was so fixated on his public image, and now his priorities have clearly shifted.
Pasdar: The events that happened between the finale of last year and the beginning of the season this year altered his perspective on who he was and his ability to impact people around him. He lost his way a little bit — he had more of an inner search for what was important, and he ends up losing all the things that he held very close to him. It’s an attempt for him to regain not only the elements of his past but what the pieces are that made up who he was.

All of those things kind of got fractured in the finale — they exploded, in a way. [Laughs] I’ve missed working with Milo Ventimiglia — our paths have been divergent, have been separate. But we do get back together in the last few episodes that we’ve filmed. They’re a reunion of sorts.

TVGuide.com: Anybody in the cast you’d like to work with but haven’t had a chance to yet?
Pasdar: I’ve worked with just about everybody except for Jack [Coleman, who plays Noah Bennet, aka HRG] — one of the guys I have a great relationship with but unfortunately I’m not able to have much screentime with. In fact, we share a daughter [Claire]. He’s probably the only one, other than James Kyson Lee [who plays Ando].

Adrian Pasdar Featured in USA Today

Adrian Pasdar Picture He flies through the stratosphere as failed presidential hopeful Nathan Petrelli, one of NBC’s Heroes.

But off set, actor Adrian Pasdar can often be found in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on his 42-foot sailboat.

“I come out here, usually by myself ,” says Pasdar, stretching out on deck under his fully unfurled sail. “I go out 100 miles and will just stay out a couple of days to be away from Hollywood.”

But below deck in the cabins, there is ample evidence of favorite passengers: a bed overflowing with stuffed Finding Nemo fish belongs to his sons with Natalie Maines, one of the Dixie Chicks: Jackson Slade, 6, and Beckett Finn, 3.

More than his hearty Heroes paychecks, which helped pay for the $200,000-plus vessel, Pasdar values his free time. The 42-year-old is looking forward to sailing his sons all the way to Tahiti.

For that reason, the prospect of leaving Heroes last season didn’t provoke panic. In the finale, his character seemed to explode high above the clouds with brother Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) in his arms.

Adrian Pasdar Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of Heroes

Can’t get enough of Heroes? Here’s your chance to see how the cast interacts when the cameras aren’t rolling.

The NBC cameras, that is.

Adrian Pasdar has been videotaping random “snapshots into the life of what we do when we’re not filming,” as he puts it - and has posted a lot of the footage on YouTube under the name “Buckshotwon.”

The videos range from simple (such as Hayden Panettiere shopping for shoes in Paris) to stylized (Milo Ventimiglia and Jack Coleman doing an improv Pellegrino commercial during an airport layover).

“There’s a cute one of Hayden at the Georges V Paris playing hide and seek with the camera,” Pasdar said to TV Guide says of a piece filmed during the Heroes World Tour.

He also pointed to a shot through the sunroof of a limo featuring Ali Larter (seen below). No surprise that anything starring this beauty would be considered a favorite.

“My stuff’s really silly,” said Greg Grunberg of the videos featuring him. “That’s a side of me people don’t really see on the show.”

Adrian Pasdar Mum on Heroes Spoilers

Don’t ask Adrian Pasdar for any Heroes spoilers. Seriously, he won’t reveal a thing. He told Hollywood.com as much in a recent interview:

Hollywood.com: So how fun is it for you to do interviews and not be able to say ANYTHING about the new season of Heroes?
Adrian Pasdar: It’s very frustrating. Hard to be able to have your hands tied and your lips sealed. Last year we were asked to talk to anybody who’d listen. This year we’re asked not to say a word.

HW: Are you surprised at the amount of people that know exactly who you are now?
AP: Yeah. It’s always impressive. You forget. You work on a TV show and it takes just as much effort to make a bad show as it does a good one. And God knows I’ve been part of enough good and bad in my career, so it just feels like going to work and then you step back from it and realize that there’s 170 countries that rocketed this thing to number one in every market it’s debuted in, so there’s an international aspect to it.

It’s global. I mean it’s not just a small little show anymore.

An Adrian Pasdar Picture: Our Bearded Hero

Looks like at least one Heroes spoiler is true:

Adrian Pasdar will, indeed, be sporting a beard for Heroes season two.

Here’s a photo of the man who portrays Nathan Petrelli, during a stop in Monte Carlo as part of the Heroes world tour.

Bearded Hero

Rumors have swirled that Nathan’s face is full of scars after his brother blew up. Hence, the need for some serious facial hair in order to cover them up.

Adrian Pasdar: Burn Victim?

We hope Adrian Pasdar is alright.

Reliable sources from the set of Heroes have told us that the actor has been seen around town with massive burns marks all over his face.

Fortunately, it’s safe to assume this is simply another Heroes spoiler - remember, Nathan did fly off into the atmosphere with his exploding brother to end season one. That sort of thing can leave a scar.

For most of the off-season, meanwhile, Pasdar has been spotted with something else on his face: a full-grown beard. Check him out here with co-star Masi Oka:

Adrian Pasdar Speaks on Season Two Changes

Without divulging any season two spoilers, Adrian Pasdar recently commented on the difference in filming Heroes this year, as opposed to last:

“Last year we were looking to talk to anybody who wanted to talk to us. This year the degree of secrecy is a lot higher in what we can say.

“No matter who your favorite character is, the things that are going to happen in this season will be exciting to the point of being numbing for fans. This season is not about defining them by their own behavior… there’s a lot more at stake.”

And we can’t wait to see what that includes, including what new Heroes cast member Jessica Collins will be up to.

TV Guide Sits Down with Adrian Pasdar

This interview may be a bit old, but it’s still worth noting. TV Guide spoke with Adrian Pasdar following the episode in which Ali Larter’s Jessica is asked to rub his character, Nathan, out…

TVGuide.com: So last we tuned in, Jessica had just gotten her assignment to snuff Nathan. Why do I have the feeling that when the moment of truth comes, those two will end up having torrid sex instead?
Pasdar: Well, we do end up in bed… but not like you think. I can’t tell you any more than that, but we do end up on a bed.

Adrian Pasdar and a Dixie Chick TVGuide.com: Are you surprised by the amount of support for that couple, based on just that one early-season encounter?
Pasdar: No. I mean, it’s a logical extension of the physical things that we bring to the show. But it does take an interesting turn in Episode 20.

TVGuide.com: Of course, Nathan has that other great pairing, with Masi Oka’s Hiro. Do you enjoy having those lighter moments to play?
Pasdar: Yeah, it’s fun. Every time there’s a script where we have a scene together, they leave a little blank space for us to improvise. It’s become a kind of tradition that we get to do that. It’s great doing stuff with him, because I think he embodies the unbridled enthusiasm of a child, where I, of course, am saddled with the responsibility of an adult. So the two characters, when we get together, it’s interesting.

TVGuide.com: Even before Heroes premiered, we here were making much of the last moments of the pilot, where Nathan swoops in to save Peter. Take us back to when you first read that scene in the script.
Pasdar: I still get goose bumps talking about it. It read just like it played, and that’s one thing about the show they have been able to consistently maintain: What they write is exactly what we film.

TVGuide.com: Enigmatic characters, good buzz, ardent fans — you’ve been down this road before, with the short-lived Profit. Did that temper your reaction to the reception Heroes was met with?
Pasdar: A little bit, yeah. I’m old enough to have been through this a few times, where you’re excited and happy, but you also realize it could all go away [snaps fingers] just as quickly as it came. But I’m enjoying it.

TVGuide.com: Do you think your spring 2006 Housewives drop-by played a small but undeniable role in reestablishing your profile and getting you this plum role?
Pasdar: Oh, I don’t know… maybe. I’m the last person to ask about that. You’d have to ask my manager. That’s the thing, I don’t do a lot of press, so people go, “Oh, you went away and came back,” but I’m like, “No, I just decided to stop talking to the media for a while. That’s all.”

TVGuide.com: Could the Housewives role have been longer term, or was it stymied by the fact that your lawyer was macking on a pregnant Gabrielle?
Pasdar: No, I couldn’t have done any more than I did, three episodes.

TVGuide.com: Back to Heroes, was there one particularly difficult moment in safeguarding the secret of Claire’s paternity all these months?
Pasdar: No, you just can’t talk about it. But I had to tell somebody, so I told my 5-year-old. The day I read the script, I said, “Do you want to know a secret?” He goes, “What?!” I told him, and he held the secret the entire time.

TVGuide.com: We’ve only seen Nathan’s wife (played by Rena Sofer) in dribs and drabs. Might we get more of her before the season is up?
Pasdar: I think so. Rena’s been busy working on 24, but I believe she’ll be back.

TVGuide.com: The Dixie Chicks documentary Shut Up & Sing comes out on DVD Tuesday. Can fans look for any additional coverage of you? [Pasdar's wife is lead singer Natalie Maines.]
Pasdar: I don’t know…. They took maybe three years’ worth of B-roll, so… I went to great lengths not to be a part of that because that was my wife’s thing and not mine, but I was in it. And I know I’m in a lot more than they used, so maybe.
