Hayden Panettiere News (Page 6)

Masio Oka, Hayden Panettiere on FHM Cover

Masi Oka and Hayden Panettiere are everywhere together these days.

Perhaps Stephen Colletti should be jealous.

We're kidding. Hayden's boyfriend needn't worry - but Oka and Panettiere recently appeared in Got Milk ads and are now gracing the cover of FHM.

It's a pretty cool photo shoot of these Heroes, as they're captured in comic book form:

Hayden Panettiere to Present at the Emmy Awards

Not only does Hayden Panettiere have milk, she also has a chance to hand out hardware at this year's Emmy Awards.

It's unknown right now what trophy this Heroes star will be giving out, but wouldn't it be cool if she presented for a Masi Oka victory?

Emmy Presenter

Other presenters will include a mix of past winners, current nominees and those who deserved recognition but didn't receive it.

For example, many believe Kyle Chandler should have at least been nominated for his role as Eric Taylor in Friday Night Lights - but we guess handing out a trophy is a consolation prize of some sort.

Also, former winners Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer will promote their new Fox sitcom, Back to You, while Kate Walsh will help hype up Private Practice, the new ABC drama that is a spinoff of Grey's Anatomy.

Masi Oka, Hayden Panettiere Have Got Milk

We know Masi Oka and Hayden Panettiere possess unique powers on Heroes, but now we might know what contributes to these special skills: milk.

Each actor is a new spokesperson for the Body By Milk campaign, which was created to encourage teens to eat properly and drink three glasses of lowfat or fat free milk everyday to stay lean and healthy.

In Oka's ad, he says: "My hero? Think hard. It's milk. Some studies suggest teens who choose it instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner, plus the protein helps build muscle. So grab a glass. Then you can change the future, too."

Panettiere, meanwhile, credits protein for her strong bones and recommends it for all Heroes fans:

"You don't have to be a hero to feel invincible. That's why I drink milk. The protein helps build muscle and some studies suggest teens who choose it tend to be leaner. Cheers to that."

Inside the Hayden Panettiere Birthday Party

Remember when Milo Ventimiglia celebrated his 30th birthday?

18th Birthday Girl It's safe to assume that affair was slightly more low-key than the party that was just thrown for Hayden Panettiere on her 18th birthday.

It took place at Malibu's LG House and included 75 friends and family members. Of course, numerous Heroes cast mates were on hand.

Among them were Adrian Pasdar (and his Dixie Chicks wife Natalie Maines), Ventimiglia, Greg Grunberg, Zachary Quinto and new Heroes pal Kristen Bell.

Italian food was served, along with sushi and other types of Japanese cuisine. The birthday cake was pink with a gold crown on top of purple frosted flowers and read," Happy Birthday Hayden."

After Panettiere blew out all 18 candles - after five tries - she posed with family for pictures. A big hug and kiss then followed from long-time boyfriend Stephen Colletti. In all, a fun night was had by all.

Happy Birthday, Hayden Panettiere!

We receive numerous requests for Ali Larter nude photos. And it makes sense people would wish to see this beautiful, older actress in the buff.

Now, though, these same people don't need to feel dirty if they wanna see Hayden Panettiere nude. How come? Because the actress has turned 18. Today!

Congratulations, Hayden. We hope you have a great birthday.

Hayden Panettiere on Heroes Season One DVD

Before you buy your Heroes Season One DVD - and, really, what true fan won't make this purchase? - it helps to know which parts are best.

So let's listen to what Hayden Panettiere has to say about which special feature fans should check out first on the disc:

"I would say it would depend if they've seen the show or not. If they haven't seen the show, I would say watch the pilot - the two-hour pilot. I would say watch that first. And then maybe the deleted scenes, 'cause I'm having fun watching the deleted scenes - but that's probably only because I know what was deleted and what wasn't. There's some great stuff - there's some goofy commentaries, like I'm talking goofy commentaries.

Heroes at Play

I mean, I think I remember my commentary and I think they probably edited it, but everything on it is great. You know, I love DVDs and you get to go and look at the extras and find certain things."

The disc hits stores on August 28. But the most exciting Heroes news of the day so far is that Veronica Mars alum Kristen Bell is joining the cast!

Greg Grunberg Tries not to Think About Hayden Panettiere

Pity Greg Grunberg in this scenario, people.

He's just trying to have a good time with his Heroes cast mates... but it gets dangerous when you're over the age of 30 (or 21) and dancing this close to Hayden Panettiere. Even though the beautiful young actress is celebrating her 18th birthday soon, well, she'll still just be 18.

So we wish you luck, Greg. You can always think about baseball or something...

Hayden Panettiere: Turning to the Dark Side?

Might Claire Bennet be going all Sylar on us in season two of Heroes?

It's doubtful. But that would be the case if it were up to Hayden Panettiere.

Panettiere's desire to play a villain stems from her typecasting as a pretty, blond cheerleader. It's one she's growing tired of.

Evil Claire? "When you're blond, you don't play villains unless you're Sharon Stone," Pannettiere said. "It would be just exciting for me. People look at me as very sweet sometimes, and I say, 'I would never in a million years describe myself as sweet.' But I think it would be a blast. I think it's so much more fun to be bad."

Zachary Quinto would probably agree with that sentiment.

Speaking of villains, the second season will come with its own roster of new evil-doers, but how could they possibly be worse than Sylar, Hayden?

"Oh, it's possible," Panettiere teased, explaining that there are at least two new villains in the coming season, one of which will be the "boogeyman" Molly Walker hinted at towards the end of last season. Panettiere said the new villains are "freakier in a different way, kind of a mind trip."

Overall, this young actress says her character has changed a lot already. In what ways?

"I think she really grew up. If you guys don't have kids or haven't noticed, teenagers are selfish, and I will vouch for that. She wanted what any teenager would want, she wanted to be normal, she wanted to be popular, she wanted to date the quarterback of the football team," Panettiere said.

"And over time she realized that by dismissing her power like that, that she was risking a lot of people's lives, and that there was so much more she could do if she just came to terms with that. And she just really evolved, really grew up, learned to stand her own and stick up for herself. She matured, and hopefully she'll keep doing that."

Hayden, Jansen Panettiere Go for a Stroll

No making out with co-star Nick D'Agosto in this picture.

Instead, Hayden Panettiere is simply walking down the street, hand in hand, with her 12-year old brother Jansen. They look like a cute family, don't they?

Hayden, Jansen Panettiere

It's safe to assume Jansen will be in the same place we'll all be at 9 p.m. on September 24: In front of the TV, watching the second season premiere of Heroes.

Hayden Panettiere Talks Blood, Guts, Heroes Season Two

On a conference call with reporters this morning, Hayden Panettiere provided a great deal of insight into our favorite show.

For starters, the young actress will be jetting across Europe as part of the Heroes world tour. She's most excited about visiting. Considering that the show's second season is currently in full production, this may mean less Claire Bennet in the initial episodes.

Save Me, Save the World When we do see the cheerleader, however, it may not be the same sunny, homecoming queen-type stereotype of a character we were treated to last season. Panettiere said there would be a bit more behind Claire this year than in the past - which makes sense, based on what she's gone through.

Oddly enough, Hayden also said she's love to go all Sylar on viewers. The idea of playing a villain appeals to her.

"In the show, anything is possible. You never know what is going to happen. I doubt it, but anything is possible."

During the call, Hayden was actually watching the Heroes DVD box set and marveling over the sheer number of extras involved on it. She's a good little PR vixen for a DVD that's being billed as one of the most fan friendly sets in the history of television, replete with more commentaries and extras than other series.

In closing, Panettiere responded to a question about all the blood and guts on the show - especially considering how she got messier than most actors on the show. What was it like to work with all those prosthetics?

"It was sticky," she said. "It's basically corn syrup, and red dye, and you can imagine what that does to your body after ten hours of working. It was most fun when me and [Milo Ventimigilia] got to do it together, and got to get sticky together.

Then you have directors like Greg Beeman who like to go overboard with the blood. I just remember seeing him with that blood bottle in his hand and looking at me like he was going to attack."

And, don't worry, lovers of gore: Claire will be taking advantage of her ability even more in season two.

"The longer she has it and the farther it goes, the less she is conscious of it, the less she notices that she can't do certain things. Trust me, you will see plenty of blood. Plenty of snaps, pops, and crackles."
