Noah Gray-Cabey Basks in Presence of Hayden Panettiere

As this week's Heroes Caption Contest proves, Hayden Panettiere gets sick of older men making inappropriate comments to a 17-year old.

But what about much younger men?

In this photo, it's not hard to imagine what little Noah Gray-Cabey is thinking as Hayden - and her cleavage - tower above him:

Hayden Panettiere and Nick D'Agosto Make Out

Don't worry, Stephen Colletti.

The boyfriend of Hayden Panettiere can relax because his girlfriend is simply kissing Nick D'Agosto for a scene in the second season of Heroes.

D'Agosto, previously on TV as Jan's assistant on The Office, plays West, a young boy lucky enough to date Claire Bennet. Or is he?

A few Heroes spoilers have revealed that the Bennets have been uprooted to somewhere in California. And we have a feeling all will not remain calm for this troubled family.

Tune in September 24 when season two kicks off to see what sort of role West will play in this clan's future.

Hayden Panettiere Supports Our Troops

Hayden Panettiere is more than a pretty face.

She paid a visit to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center while she was in Washington DC for July 4th. There, she sang the national anthem at PBS' A Capitol Fourth TV special.

The Heroes hottie also had the privilege of meeting with the brave men and women who have been injured while fighting overseas at Walter Reed, which serves more than 150,000 active and retired personnel from all branches of the military.

Here's a picture of the giving actress and a service member:

Despite her young age, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is quickly becoming a major sex symbol.

Here she is on the cover of FHM in Great Britain. Can you really blame guys for not being able to turn away from shots such as this?

On the Set of Heroes with Hayden Panettiere

Hayden and Tim KringIt would be wrong - and possibly a felony - to say too much about how lovely 17-year-old Heroes star Hayden Panettiere looked yesterday, when NBC arranged a visit to the show's sets.

The blog TV with Meevee was there, commenting on how this young actress was batting her eyelashes and making sure reporters get a good look at the assets. The site said Hayden seemed more like a perfect-attendance, student-council-president type who just happens to be magazine-cover pretty.

As she strolled around the set, Panettiere made very clear that we won't be seeing her in any Paris Hilton-style misadventures.

"I have an allowance that I get, the money was never made apparent to me, it was just, 'This is what you love to do.' ... I was raised completely as a normal kid," she said. "I take out the trash, I walk the dogs, I make the bed, I vacuum. ... I'm not allowed to leave the house unless I make the bed and everything in my room is put away."

Sounds like Hayden and Jansen Panettiere were raised the proper way.

The actress does have a generous 1 a.m. curfew, however. And, besides, the fans yelling "The cheerleader!" and pointing at her, there are some tough angles to being a pretty young star. Such as the paparazzi waiting outside her house for her to leave.

"You usually have cameras following you, which makes it more of a scene," she said. "I went to try to go to Venice Beach the other day, you can sort of blend in with people, which is kind of nice. But then they see 10 cameras, and they're like, 'Who are they looking at? Who are they looking at?' "

She sighed and shook her head, and someone asked if she could understand what has happened to Lindsay Lohan and to other young starlets, and if it could happen to her. The answer to the latter was an emphatic no.

"I'm not surrounded by those kinds of people they're surrounded by. You understand how it happens, you understand what they did wrong," she said. "But it's so, like, controllable. When you're putting nasty white powder up your nose, that's you putting it up there, no one else is putting it up there."

Panettiere, of course, plays the cheerleader Claire Bennet, whose superpower is healing.

Meevee about halfway through the tour when they visited with the prosthetics guys, who had a selection of fake body parts laid out on a long table. Bryan Blair of Optic Nerve Inc. demonstrated the cable controls on a prop head used after Claire had her head bashed against some lockers by Sylar. The head's crumpled, bloody temples and pushed-in face seemed to reinflate like a balloon until they were once again, well, head-shaped.

Grunberg and... Peter Petrelli?

"Is that my body parts?" Panettiere said, walking up and grabbing a small prosthetic with two pieces of "bone" sticking out. "I love the ribs because they actually move! These were used in the first season. They go back in and then they squish back out."

But she was most interested in something that the FX guys referred to as "the autopsy piece," a silicon torso simulating Claire's flayed chest, with skin flaps pulled back to show the bloody rib cage. Hayden bopped right over and started playing with it, flipping the skin flaps open and closed.

"This is my chest cavity when I was chopped open, fileted on the table last season," she said. "This was not fun to have on. They kept having to come over and spray it down with water. The blood would literally run off under my arms and get stuck under there. It was creepy. I was in almost nothing on the table with this thing on, on a freezing cold metal table. I kept wanting coffee and I couldn't get up to get it."

A Talk with Hayden Panettiere... and her Brother

TV Guide recently joined Hayden Panettiere at a Heroes Sunday-morning shoot.

Also present? Hayden's 12-year-old brother, Jansen. He'll be starring in the Nickelodeon movie The Last Day of Summer (premiering this Friday at 8 pm/ET) and the siblings hope to do a movie together some time in the near future.

For now, though, the Heroes actress began the interview by asking questions of her adorable little brother...

Hayden
: Why are you so handsome?
Jansen: 'Cause I got good genes from my mom.

Hayden: You are hurting Dad's feelings.
Jansen: [To his father, Skip, who is also at the shoot] Dad, you gave me a very balanced body. [To Hayden] Now, why are you so gorgeous?

Hayden and Jansen Panettiere Hayden: Because I am related to you. Why did you get the dark skin and the dark eyes?
Jansen: It is a lot harder for me because [Hollywood] likes blond, blue-eyed kids.

Hayden: No one wants him to play white. He is doing a feature film, The Perfect Game....
Jansen: I play a Hispanic baseball player from the 1950s.

Hayden: What's your character like in The Last Day of Summer?
Jansen: I don't think he is extremely... energized? How do you say it?

Hayden: Energetic. You, by the way, are very energetic.
Jansen: Thank you for noticing. My character does not have the electricity that I have. During the film his confidence gets a total boot.

Hayden: Boot! You mean boost.
Jansen: Oh my god. I can't work with her. [To his mother] Mom, Hayden is picking on me.

Hayden: I am just correcting his grammar. [Mom shoots them a look and they quickly get back to the "interview."]

TV Guide: How would you describe your relationship?

Jansen: We still fight, we still argue and stuff.
Hayden: I can still beat him in a fight.

Jansen: When I turn 14, dude, I'll beat the shiitake mushrooms out of you.
Hayden: Bring it on. [They both look at their mother and realize they'd better get back on track.] What is it like having me as a sister?
Jansen: An inspiration.

Hayden: What is it like having a sister that is on a hit show?
Jansen: All my friends are jealous.

Hayden: I mean what is it like having your photograph taken with her when you are walking down the street with the dogs and when you want to be left alone?
Jansen: She gets me a little more noticed; she gets me in magazines. She gives me a kick-start. With The Last Day of Summer, they will notice me more because she is my sister. It is almost like you are looking in a book, and the bookmark is my sister and she is basically showing me, she is able to push me out there. She helps me tremendously.

TV Guide: Heroes and The Last Day of Summer both demand tremendous physicality.
Hayden: It is a blast. I always love doing my own stunts. Being on the set of Heroes keeps me in shape. I don't have time to go to the gym and I don't have a chance to be on teams anymore, so anything I get to do that is physical is a blast.

Hayden Panettiere to Sing with Greg Gunberg's Band

Heroes cheerleader Hayden Panettiere will make a guest appearance with fellow cast member Greg Grunberg's all-star Band From TV this weekend.

"I sang with them at the wrap party for our show," Panettiere told People magazine Tuesday at a party in L.A. celebrating NBC's fall season. "I saw them and said, 'Anytime you guys want me to perform with you I'm totally up for it.' "

Panettiere, who has an album on the way and recently made headlines with her rendition of the National Anthem at the July 4 fireworks ceremony in Washington, D.C., will take the stage with Grunberg and his fellow actor/musicians on Saturday in Orange County, Calif. at Cal State Fullerton, after the Orange County Flyers baseball game.

Singing Sensation

The celeb-heavy Band From TV is a rock 'n' roll cover band featuring Grunberg on drums, Desperate Housewives' James Denton on guitar, House's Hugh Laurie on piano and both Bachelor star Bob Guiney and Kitchen Confidential actress Bonnie Somerville on vocals.

Panettiere says she'll jump at any chance to practice singing onstage. "I have terrible stage fright and [with an album coming out] I'll need to go on tour at some point – so I need to practice."

But Grunberg later laughed off Panettiere's claims. "Give me a break," he said. "She just played in front of like 500,000 people!"

This weekend's audience is expected to be closer to 5,000, according to the Heroes actor.

"That's like the biggest audience we've played. It's really exciting," he says. "We're going to do a whole set, and then [Hayden] is going to do two amazing songs."

So what exactly will Panettiere sing? "I'm singing Meredith Brooks's 'Bitch,' and then I'm singing Alanis Morissette's 'Ironic,'? she says. "It'll be fun!"

Hayden Panettiere: These are a Few of her Favorite (Summer) Things

What's Hayden Panettiere into this summer?

People magazine recently sat down with the Heroes star and asked her about essential items for the sweltering month ahead...

Pretty PanettiereFavorite summer song:
I love listening to Journey. They've got some awesome songs like "Don't Stop Believing" ... It's just a feel good song. It's like you're at a party, and they play that song and everyone just goes nuts.

My beach must-have:
A bocce ball set. My friends and I like to play.

Bikini or a one-piece?
I'm a bikini girl. Can't have those tan lines! I love wearing bathing suits. They're comfortable. You always feel like you have to look good in clothes. I feel so much more comfortable with a bathing suit on because nothing's constricting in bad areas.

Favorite beach read:
I'm usually reading scripts, but I always love Harry Potter. I'm a dork when it comes to that. Harry Potter just takes you into a completely different world.

Movie I'm most excited to see:
Bruce Willis's film, Live Free or Die Hard. I think it's really cool that they're bringing him back. It looks really fun.

My TV must-see this summer:
I love [HBO's] Entourage. It's a fabulous portrayal of what this business is really like. You've got the executive producer Mark Wahlberg, who knows all about the business and the actors in it who do, too. So you can't really go wrong.

Favorite summer food:
I like a lot of fruit. I love mangoes and papaya and pineapple.

My summer dream destination:
I would go to Fiji ... I'm dying to. I just read something in the magazine the other day that there are these underwater hotel rooms now in Fiji that are literally made out of glass. It would be my dream. It's like $15,000 a person to go.

Hayden Panettiere: Bad Girl To Be?

We mostly know Hayden Panettiere as the actress that plays Claire Bennet; lonely, innocent, hopeful. Claire just wants to be accepted.

But the actual Hayden? We don't know this 17-year old personally, but certain stories and photos are leading some to believe that this could be the next Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton, troubled young stars that spend more time at clubs than charity functions.

We don't wanna base too much off a few pictures, of course, but the ones below - including a shot with co-star Adrian Pasdar - are showcasing this youth at her rebellious best...
