Heroes Spoilers: The Fate of D.L.

The discussions of last night’s Heroes episode, “Lizards,” is alive and well in our forums.

But one topic not being talked about among fans? Any story line involving Micah, Niki and D.L. And there’s a simple reason for this: none of those characters have appeared in season two yet.

However, a mistake by the show and/or NBC looks to have revealed the fate of Mr. Hawkins. The following picture was taken from the official Heroes website, under the photo gallery for last night’s episode:

So Long, DL

This scene may have been cut from “Lizards,” but it’s safe to assume we’ll see it at some point in the near future.

The faces on Micah and Niki - as well as the inscription we can make out on the gravestone - make it apparent that D.L. didn’t survive those gun shots from last year’s season finale.

Heroes Spoilers: Clips from Lizards

The last video clip we gave you of “Lizards,” the second episode of season two, was scarcely a Heroes spoiler. It was simply NBC’s commercial for the show.

Below, however, are actual scenes from the episode. Looks like Hiro and Kensei bond a bit more, while Mohinder and the mysterious guy from The Company also get to know each other. Take a look…

Heroes Spoilers: A Look at Lizards

Here is the preview NBC aired for next week’s episode, “Lizards.”

It’s not a real Heroes spoiler, just a commercial for the second hour of the season. But we wanted to warn those that truly wish to come into each episode fresh.

For everyone else, enjoy:

Heroes Spoilers: The Return of The Haitian

The Haitian Don’t worry: we haven’t forgotten about the Heroes season premiere already. Visit our FORUMS right now and talk about all the seeds that were planted on last night’s show.

Or go read about it in our episode guide if you somehow missed the opening hour of season two.

While you’re at it, however, here’s a spoiler about next week’s episode, entitled “Lizards.” It’s courtesy of Kristin from E! Online…

At the Emmys, Jimmy Jean-Louis (the Haitian) said his character returns in the second episode. According to the actor:

“He will connect with some other people. He’s very much with Mr. Bennet still, but he is going to be working with some others, including a doctor. And he speaks a little bit more, but he still has his powers. Actually his powers are getting stronger.”

Could that doctor be Mohinder? Another new character? Guess we’ll have to tune in to find out!

Meet the New Heroes

We’ve already introduced Heroes fans to the following new characters and actors. But Entertainment Weekly has a helpful new feature on them in its latest issue, so we wanted to provide even more insight with it…

MONICA DAWSON
(Dana Davis)
Monica enters in episode 4 from New Orleans with an unspecified ability. She works to support her brother and grandmother (Nichelle Nichols), while developing a bond with her cousin Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey).

”She’s a good girl with a good heart,” says Davis. ”Her life’s been taken from her, and she’s looking for a way out.”

ELLE
(Kristen Bell)
Tim Kring calls this character ”a little unstable” and ”a cautionary tale of what our Heroes could become.” Does that mean Elle could be a villain? She reportedly has ties to the Petrelli clan and the Bennets.

”Elle has trouble knowing right from wrong. She holds a piece of Claire’s future,” says Bell, who admits, ”Heroes was the watercooler discussion at Veronica Mars.”

The New Heroes

TEKEZO KENSEI
(David Anders)
In reality, turns out that Hiro’s Hero isn’t the ancient legend he’s hyped up to be. According to Anders: ”He is a drunk Englishman and a hired hitman, essentially.

But he does have powers, and when they’re revealed, Kring says, ”they’ll have major ramifications for the entire Heroes world.”

MAYA HERRERA
(Dania Ramirez)
The abilities possessed by twins Maya and Alejandro work in tandem. Ramirez was actually unfamiliar with Heroes when she auditioned, but got hooked when she did her homework.

Another Heroes Spoiler: Matt Parkman’s Family History

Lawyer Talk Previous Heroes spoilers have revealed that the infamous “Boogeyman” referred to by Molly Walker in the season one finale will turn out to be Matt Parkman’s father.

Now, Michael Ausiello of TV Guide has pretty much had that rumor confirmed… by none other than the man who portrays Parker himself. Here’s what he had to say:

Ausiello: Only my BFF Greg Grunberg could get a flat tire en route to the Emmys and still show up in time to give me some serious scoop. “Parkman’s family plays a huge role in the story behind the heroes,” he said. “My character for once plays an integral part in what’s happening. And it was a shock to me when I got [the script].

I was like, ‘What?’ But it’s great because people have been saying to me, ‘I really wish that you’d be more a part of the show.’ I’ve been working my butt off, but it’s been great.”

Does this storyline intrigue you? Are you glad to see Parkman taking on more of a role, as it relates to the rest of the cast? Let us know on our Heroes forums right now!
